  1. Please put all board-specific suggestions into the Action Figure forum discussion thread (Easier to keep it there so I can compile the suggestions, otherwise I'll lose track of it in this thread)
  2. Oh man, that mask is looking better every time I see it. Though I don't like that Knight's Kingdom style clip-on attachment, I have a feeling it's going to be annoying to do much with these masks other than, well as masks.
  3. Uhm. Oh dear. I can't stop bursting into laughter everytime I look at the absolutely ridiculous lower legs on Kopaka.
  4. A comparison is fine, but an argument is not- Please do end this here and continue discussing Bionicle.
  5. This thread continues to be for 2015 discussion.
  6. Just to clear things up, leaked images are generally images that are either stamped "confidential" or have clearly come from a retailer catalogue- such as the images we saw earlier. This image comes directly from Lego.com's servers, and is fair game unless we are asked to take the photo down. (This is Eurobricks policy but I would assume BZP follows a similar suit) You can now also view it on our frontpage, credit was given to BZP- great job snagging the URL and thanks Gata for noting it here. In other news, I've finally changed the title of this topic! Photo deeplink -
  7. Folks from BZPower have discovered the product page image on Lego.com for the next Lego Action Figure theme: The return of Bionicle. This gives us our first clear look at a mysterious mask, and confirms the rumors that Bionicle may be returning. Be sure to jump on over to the Bionicle 2015 Discussion topic to discuss this news!
  8. As do I- it still remains to be seen how similar these are to their Mata forms, but if there is any characteristic I remember about Gali, it was her trans kanohi. I didn't hate the kanohi Nuva as much as some people did, but I did not like the Kaukau nuva at all. If it takes design cues from any of her three masks, I do hope it is the Mata version. Okay I'll give you that one, that had me on the floor
  9. I said this earlier in the year, but I think the problem with the DC/Marvel figures was that we only got one wave. Just look at how much Legends of Chima changed in it's second wave. While yes, it still needs work, the first time around is always a mess. Bionicle and hero factory have time to expand and improve upon designs, but when all we have is one wave of Superheroes, there isn't a whole lot of room to fix their mistakes. With more figures, I definitely think Lego could step up their game design wise, and for us MOCists it would continue to be a source of some very interesting color selections.
  10. There has been some question as to what this topic should be and there has been some unacceptable posting the last few days, so I think a few quick final words need to be said. Announcement regarding this thread In the past, yearly discussion threads have remained a broad topic for both sets and media- For now, speculation and rumor in this thread is fine for all aspects of the coming year, from sets to media. Later on I will consider creating separate threads for sets discussion and media/story discussion, but that is to be determined at a later date. However I have noticed over the last few pages, some people have been replying with one word posts or symbols- this is not a chat room, please refer to our guidelines and put thought into your posts before you post them. I know everyone is excited about 2015 and we have quite a few new members, but please do put thought into your posts before posting. I've had to mention this a few times already in this topic, so hopefully this will be the last time. If I have to close this topic down to let everyone cool off then I will. I don't want it to come to that, so one last time I will advise our new members to review the guidelines. Thank you
  11. Star wars Technic Sets belong in the Star Wars forum. You can see them in this post of the Star Wars review index. After I have finished the MOC index I plan to update the first post of this thread, I will try to give a clear definition of what belongs here in the Action Figure forum. ---Vertea--- and Dorek i have added your hau tags!
  12. This is official Eurobricks policy regarding leaked images. Do refrain from sharing leaked images. Confidential sharing policy was discussed with Lego a few weeks ago and this remains to be our policy.
  13. These are the requirements for the Hau Tag;
  14. You know what I'd like to see, more than just the continuation of the bags, is the art style of IFB. It could be a while before we get any Bionicle comics again, but what's to stop them from doing the comics in the instruction booklets, and the neat artistic drawings on the top/bottom of the bags?
  15. Vezon was always a favorite for me- I love twisted and insane characters, and he was always that one character who seemed to be on the brink all of the time. I was also quite a fan of Makuta (Teridax) While yes he is of course the main big-bad, I especially enjoyed him in 2007 during his conversations with Matoro. I felt like he had more depth than just "ah blah shadows are evil."
  16. The first Mixel version of Blitzwing/ a Quintesson then? Although it would have been cooler if you could open the visor and flip around the plate inside of his face to reveal the other face.
  17. Keep discussion related to Bionicle/ Lego constraction please, Star Wars rebels should be discussed in culture & multimedia.
  18. The best answer to that is really the direct quote from the usergroups/staff structure topic
  19. Firstly while I think actually texturing the shells would be nice (for example, imagine a shell with the scale texture that was on Kongu Inika's Kanohi. It would be perfect for a set of reptilian enemies) and far more authentic than just slapping on an add-on, I also think that MOCing is far easier if they just stuck to add-ons. It allows us to repurpose the textures on other shells as well as other parts. As for the advancements in "toa technology" such as all Toa being able to fly or all toa being underwater, I'm okay with things like that. It was part of what Bionicle interesting- you put 6 characters of different elements into one element, and suddenly they have to adapt to that change. I might be one of the few who absolutely loved 2007, both the Barraki and the Mahri. 2008 was a good concept, but for me the sets became a bit one-note with their ever increasing gray/silver color influences and I grew to dislike the Toa that year. But not because they all had an ability to fly. I would like to continue with this trend, every few years you have extreme changes in a landscape or environment, with occasional years that are set on their island where the Toa can be in their respective elements. (I'll keep holding out for the day when we have Bionicle/Hero Factory in space...) As for the building systems, I much preferred the look of Bionicle over the look of Hero Factory, but I do find it easier to MOC with Hero factory, getting the shapes I want is easier, however having to cover up bones can be a daunting task for a larger scale that I usually build, because once you have secured the bones, there is little to no balljoint sections left to work with.
  20. Welcome to Eurobricks!
  21. This is quite nice indeed, I absolutely love the chain clothing you've created. You've got some very nice details hidden in there (the hilt on the sword caught my eye). Also this does a fantastic job of keeping good humanoid proportions. As Aanchir said, the gap by the shoulders might look unsightly in some poses, and I'm having a bit of trouble figureing out what the head is really supposed to be, where the helmet ends and the face starts.
  22. I'll agree that I'm okay with a name change. "Master of Fire" sounds far more compelling than "Toa of Fire," at least to me anyway. With that said I hope they showcase their powers over elements, after a lack of elemental powers in 2009/2010 and only some vague powers in Hero Factory, having elemental beings using their powers together is something I miss greatly.

  24. A most excellent review Oky! The dragster looks okay, though the front just seems far too simple for me. The Batmobile certainly looks more promising- even though it's not completely accurate, it's still a nice looking vehicle by itself.
