  1. I'd like to point out to look at the end of the instructions where the three headed beast is shown; Two of the heads are misprinted- Flyer beast has a messed up version of the orange beast's print, and the azure head has Jaw Beasts eyes printed on it.
  2. Agents was one of the few system themes I regret taking to pieces- the mobile command center was an absolute beauty of a set. If these turn out to be anything like those sets, sign me up for the whole wave! Though I hope it draws more inspiration from the first wave of Agents sets, I can't say I immensely enjoyed the second wave as much
  3. Did a real quick test of the build of the container walker, Now obviously I left the armor off here that is on his legs, as I am curious now- How exactly is this container supposed to connect? In the animation model it looks a lot thicker, likely using a perp. pin connector 3L w/ 4pins and what looks to be some thicker base between it and the torso frame EDIT: Looking further at the actual toy pic, there is a technic bar across the front of the container; Thats...a horrible choice of part isn't it? You would only have one pin connection, otherwise the pod would be locked shut. Alternatively, perhaps it is part of a large support frame, in which case this is a lot more complicated than I thought. And I have no clue why that thornax launcher is so far out on the toy, my design and the cgi model place it in such a way where it is directly ending under the pilots feet Edit2; I also note their are the yellow cylinders on the sides of the walker, which I suppose supports the idea that it uses the perpendicular connector...my design needs serious revising. But at this rate it's going to have more parts than the queen's build!
  4. Might grab the Star Destroyer and AT AT if they look really good at Toy Fair. I currently don't own any variation of them and would very much like to get them this time around. Figures I would want the priciest two sets. Cantina is a pass, but man is that a preliminary photo.
  5. Action Figure Review Index Here you can find set reviews for many of the Action Figure related sets in one place. Only reviews that have the image are listed here, usually reviews that don't are off-site or have missing/over-sized/blurry photos. If you enjoy making reviews and would like to learn how to improve reviews that you make, be sure to check out Eurobrick's own Reviewers Academy! ------------------------- Ben 10 [ 2010 ] Bionicle (G1) [ 2001 | 2002 | 2003 | 2004 | 2005 | 2006 | 2007 | 2008 | 2009 | 2010 ] Bionicle (G2) [ 2015 | 2016 ] Dinosaurs [ 2001 ] Galidor [ 2002 ] Hero Factory [ 2010 | 2011 | 2012 | 2013 | 2014 ] Hockey Sets [ 2003 ] Knights Kingdom II [ 2004 - 2006 ] Legends of Chima Chi Figures [ 2013 | 2014 ] Mixels [ 2014 | 2015 ] Roboriders [ 2000 ] Slizer/Throwbots [ 1999 - 2000 ] Star Wars [ 2015 | 2016 | 2017 ] Superheroes and Villains [ 2012 ]
  6. Well, this is exciting news indeed. Though I didn't buy any of the sets last year, this year I may just to have some more larger sized figures. (Based on what we saw from the video of the HF sets so far, there isn't much I'll be getting from that wave unless the sets are more awesome in person. maybe bulk for the figure but that's it) I'm also hoping for some really great recolors, perhaps some nice new colors of bones since all HF is giving us is really just black and azure.
  7. I'll have to rebuild the two sets before I can grab the pics, I should have pictures soon. (Though I did try that at one point before out of curiosity and it really didn't look all that fantastic) EDIT: Okay here we are (Once more they are phone photos, bare with me) And with the storage cylinder and second cockpit removed you can achieve this, which I think looks pretty nice to start off; Though certainly your own design will be more effective than that. Also ignore the arms and the armor plates under his torso, those are a few modifications I was trying without much success
  8. Lego specifically told me and BZP the US, they did not say North America (BZP stated North America in one of their recent articles with no clear source), I find it somewhat annoying if they in fact meant North America as that is a major extra group of people to be excluded for 2 more months from the figures release. (But remember, that's just when the sets will hit Lego stores and S@H, sometimes before the specific date)
  9. I'm actually a huge fan of the 8L pieces, and have been meaning to stockpile on some of the trans yellow ones, the introduction of yet another color is welcome regardless of what it is. Though I must say it's a rather odd choice of part to be used in that assembly, but it works.
  10. Though my list this year was centered around the new generation of gaming consoles and less so on plastic bricks, I hope those of you who did ask find rattling boxes under your tree! And a great Fabuland comic, sets a nice mood VBBN Declares war on the North Pole- Reindeer now equipped with air to surface missiles and HEL MD laser systems
  11. I actually like lime, purple and red as a color combo; I think it's the gold, silver, and other such parts that throw things off here. Given that it's a combiner that's fairly unavoidable, so I won't knock that. I do quite like this one however, it has some good shaping and you did a nice job using what parts you had. The only major gripe I have here is that the Scorpio head assembly on top is quite bulky, and I think I would rather it be slimmed down. (The large weapons throw me off here, it's hard to tell just how big/bulky the mech is)
  12. Unfortunately I do not have either of those two variants. I haven't purchased really any system sets the last few years so I only have the older versions of those cockpits. (The ones without the clip connection point) I can see what I can do with the older cockpits but it'll be tricky to connect them. As I said it's a large request and I still have not had adequate time to complete it
  13. Don't have any of the GS sets. 2.80mm(W)x3.85mm(L)x2.40mm(H) Theres the dimensions for the miniature kaiju, so anyone with the GS pods can determine if that would fit
  14. A keen eye, I did indeed. It just looked strange to me by the way it was indicated in the instructions and I flipped it during construction. His chest is very bare and this gives a very minimal extra bit of coverage. Nothing astounding but it's a start. VBBN
  15. I'm not entirely sure what you are asking here; Do you want to see all of the Evo Walker comic? Or are you asking to see all of the comics? I did have that request in the 2014 discussion topic, currently working on getting those all compiled together. (The most ideal solution is if I can get this scanner to work) VBBN
  16. There's always the possibility that "breez" walker drops from the ship. Lime green could work with Surge's scheme (Though the orange seat on the flying mech doesn't help that statement any...) Right now I'm a little confused as to what it's purpose is- The tri "claw" deems somewhat useless, as it is not an obvious weapon as of yet. On that note, it looks like Breez's walker is three-legged and the container walker next to it is six-legged. Surprisingly, no! But now that you bring that up, it's quite astounding how similar the design is. I actually really like how it's layed out; On my MOC I wanted it to be a sort of mobile lab, but right now it has no way to really open up or unfold, and as such the crane arm is a mess just thrown onto the back. That set has a more functional and proportioned crane/tail, I might draw some inspiration from that. And Kalhiki, yes it is February 16-19th this year From the Official Website
  17. Which part are you referring to? The two pearl dark gray 4-long plates that are on an angle under his feet? Everything is constructed according to all official pictures and the instruction, that is the official way. And no pieces are being bent so I'm not sure what you mean VBBN
  18. Actually I did post that in the topic here, however I will mirror the pic here for those interested; Oh I don't mean that it's gone, I just mean I'd like to see something new or at least have had those parts used in the winter wave here. Even some new colors of the "villain" core would have been nice. However if the trailer holds true and one of the walkers has lime green variants of the kneepad piece, that's a great start. And I agree, I'm happy we got newer feet for the beasts. (And both of them feature clip attachment points for extra toes or cladding which is a great feature)
  19. My apologies, I did not see your request. Unfortunately I do not have any of the newer-style skeleton torsos. If I happen to obtain one soon I will take that picture for you. The scaly heads do bring about another though I had with Meso, I dislike how smooth the actual Kaiju heads are. They do have decent texturing, but the art on the bags really makes them look worn down and jagged. This also could have been a good opportunity to receive some textured armor plating. That is something I am disappointed in, the lack of a new armor cover this weave. We have seen the "villain core," fire pieces, the 3.0 spiked pieces for the beasts, the knee pad and rounded shoulder armor, and in breakout we got the "fur" and the rock cladding. I'm not sure what they could have done this year, but I feel like a new add-on piece for the beasts wouldn't have gone amiss
  20. Thanks for the compliments on the MOC everyone! Still has some refining to be done but right now it's got a solid start. Tahu mask is explained here As for the game here is what is shown the instruction booklets; Looks like a picture used for apps on phones, and given the phone hieroglyphic there, i'd say that would be a good bet. Also a "play" button and a controller. Not sure what this means but I'm interested

    Car Talk

I'm looking to get some LEDs for under the dash and under the back seats just for photos and some local car shows, any thoughts as to what color? I know some have receivers that can cycle through various colors but they are a bit more costly and I feel as though they won't work as well. Right now I am debating purple as it goes with the Deception theme of my car. Since the color scheme of my car is primarily black, gray and silver, really any color would work VBBN
  22. Welcome aboard Is your main interest Technic or do you share equally as much interest with other themes? See you around the forums! VBBN
  23. Not going to make a topic for this yet because my camera is broken (Still going off of phone pics) but the trailer inspired me to make this; Still working on it but I really liked the though of a walker to carry around containment pods, and the second cockpit is due to a feature I've given it; The ability to split into three sections (A mech, a "lab" and a crane, but those looks quite terrible right now and will require redesigning) Built in a sort of "official" style. i.e this is what I'd expect out of a 50-75$ mech And ignore the beast I just threw him in for scale purposes
  24. I can't say much on the topic; I grew up with Bionicle and it'll always be my favorite theme. Yes, Articulation may have suffered. Gimmicks may have taken their toll. In the end, I still enjoyed the theme immensely, and it's one of those things I didn't realize I would miss so much until it was gone. I always complained about the re-use of inika build or not enough new parts, but in the end I just miss it. When I see a new wave of Hero Factory sets, I don't get the same feeling I did when a new wave of Bionicle was released. I can't connect to the characters personally and have no interest in the story. (I'm not saying it's a bad story, but it doesn't draw me in like Bionicle did and I feel it lacks the same depth. but that was the whole point of Hero Factory, wasn't it? To make it simpler for kids to get involved with the story and understand it?) Hero Factory is a new aesthetic. It's a system based on bones and armor, that are easier to put together and have "more" articulation. The looks of the sets, is nice, but it'll never be a replacement for Bionicle. I' not a fan of the smooth robots, the goofy villains, I just prefer what we had in Bionicle. The names, the story, the characterization, the feeling. Everyone has something they will prefer. Some people prefer classic space, some prefer the years of Star Wars when yellow minifigures were used instead of fleshies. That's how I am. I'll always love Bionicle for what it was, and I don't think I'll ever feel that for Hero Factory. Perhaps I'm being sour, and my opinions will not change on any of this, but if it is the end of Hero Factory I will not be disappointed.
  25. Actually that depends on the style of disk. What spzero linked wan actual disk set of blank colored disks. Actual Bionicle "kanoka" disks only sell for less than 50 cents on BL. Here you can see the styles of disk and what they go for; http://www.bricklink...P&catString=514 Some slizer disks are only a cent a piece. Even the rarer Vahi disk is up there for just slightly over a dollar. VBBN
