A nice MOC Nightcruise, Mostly, I like the story. A twisted, evil, villain, who absolutly shows no mercy, is exactly the type of villain that I try to pull of in my stories. And Deviot certainly does that The MOC itself looks quite nice, The only quirks I have with him is the orange torso and the red on his legs. The parts themselves are fine, but there isnt enough of the color to really make it look all that nice Though I do like how you pulled off his shoulder armor

^Welcome to Eurobricks, be sure and introduce yourself in the introductions forum! Thanks for the review, I must say, He did look quite horrid originally, but now he looks like a very nice set. Surprisingly good, actually. The headpiece is very cool, I like all of the attachment points it has. Though, the fact that an axle has to be put through is a little strange, as the red #2 axle coming out of the top of his head looks really ugly. I'm sure using a black one wouldn't be AS bad, but its still an eyesore at times. I mean, I know that will help with mocing that helmet as an armor piece, but there really not that much that can be placed ON the head, so unless this is later used an an armor piece, I find it a little pointless. I also don't like how his glatorian head is the new green, whilst the shoulder-dagger-energy-pokey-prody things are the neon yellow. I would rather them have been both the same, either both the new green or both neon yellow. Finally I dont like his...whatever kind of staff that is supposed to be. I get why it was built like that, but I'm more of a fan of weapons that are one piece and held in by the hand, not two different parts stuck onto either side of the hand. I like to be able to change its position in his hand, depending on the pose he is in. With that said, He is most certainly now on my to-buy list, whereas he was not before.

I love Egypt MOCs quite a lot, and this is very nice. My favorite part is most certainly that pyramid, a very clever and new design, and the interior looks great.

Talked to my usual source of info today, only thing I can say is, the names on that list that appeared on bshelf(Is bshelf down again?) are FAKE. 100% Fake. No core drainer..

I'd like to see the breakout story continue as well, mostly because i want another wave of un-themed villains and heros. I mean sure they mayhave handcuffs, but they are all Fire Vs Water or Jungle like 2.0 and 3.0, they have some diversity that I enjoy quite a bit.

20,000 members. That is an immense amount of people, and indeed a great achievement. And to believe when I joined here many years ago, I was #1621. It was a much smaller community, and It is crazy how much we have grown and expanded over the years of lego. I originally joined mainly because of the reviews, and immense toy fair coverage. And eventually I just fell into it, I became a bigger fan of lego and met some very awesome people on here, amny of which i talk to quite often.

Not much of a change since his '11 form(Look at my avatar photo to see what that looked like), But he has some new silver details and wields black katanas now instead of his black musket And in addition I threw in the evil scientist to theside, for those of you who are purists, the scientist can be representing me. And the cheerleader is just there, why not;D The silver was acrylic paint, I havent sealed it yet as I have some touchups to do, mainly on his arm there

I'll definatly be getting this guy as I am a sucker for gold, but I really don't like the looks of this guy when standing normally. I think hes TOO tall. Then again, maybe if you swapped one set of his legs(lower or upper) with the lower or upper of evo, theywould be more evenly sized and it would look better.(Probably the lower legs, those lower leg bits on Rocka really look bad with those armor pieces)

I've been out of system for a while, Just havent really felt like buying anything at all from the themes. But. Oh. My. Sweet. Fruity. Panda Bears. Hearing LOTR being officially confirmed absolutely makes my day. There are SO many opportunities for this line. From the many different castles to battlepacks to ships to who knows what.

Actually I do believe lego has made a couple exception and changed set numbers in the past, But oh well. Core Drainer does sound awesome though, And I may MOC that.

Just sounds like a more Hero-y name. Flashfreeze hunter and dynamo sound more like they would be villains. (But freeze and flashfreeze seems odd) Edit; And wtf with the duplo bucket?

Scorcher? Maybe lego took the hint and is giving us a new fire hero

Yeah That's the main problem with this guy, he works fine by just his backpack kinda grabbing on but a technic connector works far better(Glad I still got a bunch of them from TECHNIC and Bionicle 08 sets)

Random combo I made. Playing with ideas really is all it is. Plus I hate lego's official combos.

I like them. I'm writing a fanfic about a 'shadow team' and these kinda look like what I envisioned them to be. Color schemes look excellent

I'm a big fan of minecraft, but...I just don't think this will work. I mean, sure, lego and minecraft are very easy to combine, because minecraft is literally blocks. But the issue is, the sets would be EXPENSIVE. Not only would they have the license markup, but also they would have to include quite a lot of "blocks" more than likely 2x2 bricks, and for them to look anything decent there would have to be a lot of printed ones(Otherwise, the sticker sheets are gonna be bigger than exo forces!) Besides, the real motive for these things would more than likely be the items(tools, potions, items, etc) and the minifigures.

Evo looks flat as a pancake. REALLY wish lego would give these guys back armor.. Well, the ones who need it, breez and rocka seems to have quite a bit

Which is actually kinda contradictory when you think about it, Joker isn't a superhero so really doesnt fit under a line called superheros, but that's just me being picky I might grab one or two for parts, I can basically now say with confidence the designs of the sets themselves do not interest me at all

Eh... He looks nice, but pricey. Only reason I'd get him is for the purple, which, my guess will soon be in hero factory or a better superhero set, so a definate pass on this one.

I like the way you did his head, Though if you like customizing your figure's I'd recommend testors or model masters acrylic paints and a sealer. Sharpies are not good friends to lego plastic!

Gotta agree, the angle wings look nice. A port on the side of the foot like that opens up a lot of possibilites for MOCing really.

No matter, they'll probably be back on in a week or two And that also means its gtting near time to see the summer 2012 sets>:)
