  1. May the 4th be with you! It's that time of year again and we are hosting another Star Wars contest. Over the years there have been a lot of really good Star Wars video games. One example is Force Unleashed 2: For this contest you must re-create a moment from a Star Wars video game. Like this: Artistic license is allowed, but the closer to picture-perfect-accuracy the better! There are no size limitations, but you must include a screenshot with your Lego MOC. The screen-shot does not have to be your own (but kudos to those who do take their own screenshot!). If you use one from someone else, please credit them. Rules Only one entry is allowed per person. There is no maximum or minimum size limit. At least two pictures must be submitted with each entry. The first picture should be the screenshot from the Star Wars video game you choose. The second should be your Lego re-creation. The contest will run from 4th May to 4th June, 2018. As long as it's still June 4th somewhere in the world, you can still enter. Entries posted after the deadline will be disqualified. There must be at least 10 entries for anyone to be eligible for prizes. If there are fewer than 10 entries, there will still be prizes, they will just not be the same as are listed in the prizes section. This contest is open to all EB members, even if they joined EB after the contest has begun, with the exception of the Star Wars staff, who are not eligible to win prizes. All entries must be new creations, not posted anywhere else prior to being entered in the contest. You may be asked by a staff member to change your entry if it is too similar to an earlier creation. All entries must be built from real LEGO. No clone brands, no third-party custom parts. Digital entries will be allowed. All digital entries must use only existing pieces in existing colors. All entries must be posted as a new topic in the Watto’s Junkyard forum, the title prefixed by, "[Re-creation] - entry name". (For example, "[Re-creation] – Taking Out the AT-ST".) A link must also be included in this thread for your entry to count. You may do a 'full-blown photo edit' with all the text, effects, background compositing, support erasing, and other effects on one picture. All your other pictures may have no editing other than color adjustment or background removal for a solid-color background. For obvious reasons, any photo editing that changes the shape, functionality, or color (not tint or adjustment, but actual color) of a LEGO piece is prohibited. It is also prohibited to use the Lego logo in any picture. All entries are considered WIPs (Works In Progress) until the deadline passes. Until the deadline has passed, you are allowed to change and improve your MOC. The winners will be decided by EB members voting. Prizes First place will win 751212 Kessel Run Millennium Falcon Second place will win 75211 TIE Fighter Third place will win 75204 Sandspeeder
  2. Yes! You will find out what it is on May 4th
  3. Wow. Gone for 1 weekend and look what this place turns into. Seriously guys? Stay on target! Let's talk about upcoming sets. Not wish-list items. Not our feelings about the Black Card promos. Not frustration over how much information is leaked.
  4. Updates! The Empire is on a Forest and Shoreline square. You were 1 movement point short of your requested movement so I got you as close as I could. The Rebels are on a Forest square. You had 1 extra movement beyond what you requested so I continued in the same direction of travel.
  5. They won't really fit in any of the current SoNE contests. You could re-use the body armor torsos for personal security guards or something similar. But they won't fit as Stormtroopers.
  6. The upside down brown flower holding the fire is a genius use of that piece!
  7. The Rebels had stumbled upon a reconnaissance troop of Imperials. They had managed to shoot most of the scouts before they got away, but not all of them. Now the Imperials were back in full force, chasing the Rebels. The Chicken-walker was coming!
  8. I did and the colors match what's on the paper and on my order when I look online. But I know that I ordered the right color. Somewhere along the way Lego switched it on me.
  9. Order placed March 13th. Order shipped April 11th. Order received April 26th. That has to be a record. I contacted them a couple weeks ago and they at least gave me free shipping. But those Dark Blue and regular Blue curved tiles were supposed to be teal. It's possible I picked the wrong color for one of the tiles, but not both styles. I think this was just their mistake. Has anyone else had an issue with getting the wrong color of a part?
  10. Sorry to be that guy, but any updates on when we'll get the results?
  11. Is it compatible with minifigures? Or just Friends dolls?
  12. Updates! The Empire can now travel across water! They are on a Plains, Shore, and Lake square. The Rebels are on a Forest, Shore, and Lake square.
  13. You're being warned. This is not the place for wish lists. Post wish lists here.
  14. UPDATES! The Empire collected the bonus on R22 and get 3 extra XP and movement points. They are on a Plains and Forest square. The Rebels landed on a Plains and Forest square. Also, both teams received this message from their leadership: "As the battle nears its conclusion, time seems to move faster and faster, events spiraling out of control. For each 'movement,' teams may now move through 2 unknown squares, or 4 revealed squares."
  15. Alright. Done. Your story mentions heading back toward the Shield Generator, but you do realize the shield is still up right?
  16. You still have 1/2 movement left. Would you like to move up or left? @LucasLaughing
  17. Shipping is only a few dollars, you could always place a 2nd order. That's what I ended up doing last week.
  18. Movement: We'd like to move straight down, with the preference being down and right. The Empire had them on the run! The Rebels had crossed back over the mountains heading south when they stumbled on an Imperial patrol. The terrain was broken up and made it difficult to flee and keep ones footing. Thankfully for the Rebels, it was easier to watch your step without body armor on. They were able to soon leave the Stormtroopers behind.
  19. Keep in mind, rebelscum (correct me if I'm wrong) just collects rumors from around the web. Some of their info could be from our fake leakers. von Lego says a V-19 is coming, so I believe that. But I'll believe the minifigure selection when I see it.
  20. This is not the place for wish list items. You've been warned.
  21. Give it time, in a few months it will probably drop in price.
  22. Updates! Both the Empire and Rebels are on a Mountain square.
