Revels Death of Captain Fheng and the Fate of the Jade Piranha Tomb of Killer Rabbit After Sinbad's last adventure, he found himself in need of some property. Preferably something with lots of easily accessible dirt. He set off to talk to a farmer who was selling his pineapple field. A couple of the hands were saying to each other, "When I said we should sign up with the Sea Rats, I wasn't thinking we'd be back to manual labor! Aren't we supposed to be able to kick back and live off our ill gotten gains?" "Yeah," responded his friend, "but first we have to get hired on a pirate ship so we can collect those ill gotten gains! Until then our rum won't pay for itself!" Sinbad liked what he saw, so he and the farmer struck a deal. Sinbad was now the proud owner of a pineapple plantation.
  2. Next time, don't post a speculation list. This is not the thread for that. This is the correct thread for speculation.
  3. I wouldn't worry about licensed vs non-licensed. We've been talking about all desirable pieces not just licensed ones.
  4. Love your story! That's a brilliant play using another gold protocol droid! And while your AT-ST looks a little blocky, there's something about it I really like.
  5. Well, this is not how I've envisioned Xizor's palace, but that doesn't make it wrong! Your build is beautiful. I really like the highlights of blue towards the top. And I like that you've taken your own route in how you imagine the palace!
  6. That is a very impressive looking sewer. Great work on the color changes of the muck and I love your sewer pipes!
  7. I love your take on Xizor's palace! The red really works for me.
  8. Wow! That video was amazing! I love all the effort you put into this. It's a good thing there are multiple judges because I would give you an automatic "you-beat-everyone-win" if it were just up to me! Some of your micro-ships look a little blocky, but your photography more than makes up for it!
  9. It'll probably take me a few more days to get voting together, but soon after it ends I'll have it up! And yes, it'll run for 2 weeks.
  10. We usually only do 1 big SW contest around May for May the 4th. But there are always competitions going on with Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka. You should check it out!
  11. You can also check out this tutorial.
  12. Question @Ecclesiastes, can the safe haven consist of a few different MOCs or does it need to be 1 MOC?
  13. You have captured the tone of Thrawn's voice very well! One suggestion I would make would be to add some white poster board behind your larger shots. This will allow you to take wider angle pictures while still having a nice background. You can usually get poster board for pretty cheap.
  14. Just saw that Mr. T's hair is back. And the green gremlin's torso (but for over $3) from the Gremlin's Dimension's pack.
  15. No need to fit it in a certain canon. You should keep the MOCs based on either the old (Thrawn around after Ep 6) or the new canon (Thrawn around during Rebels). So no placing Thrawn with Clones. But other than that you have free reign! You need to use a site other than Eurobricks to host your pictures. You can't upload more than a couple pictures on this site. I recommend using Flickr.
  16. See the rest of the story:Season 1Season 2Season 3Fleshing Out the ProblemBothan Data HubParting WaysSurrender Would Have Been An OptionTo Catch a Thief Imperial Detention Center Jail Time (yet to be built) OoC: So I didn't get time to build my Jail MOC before the contest deadline. I have the build planned and the story ready, but you'll have to wait to find out how my character escapes! Coruscant didn't seem like the smartest place for a ship full of Rebels to be flying to, but MKJoshA wasn't the one in charge now. The quarters were cramped with so many of them aboard the modified police gun-ship. But at least they weren't prisoners any more. As they entered the planet's atmosphere, the pilot yelled, "You all have to see this! Looks like we're too late to help the Alliance take out Xizor. The fight has already begun!" He opened the bay doors... ... right as one of Xizor's Star Vipers flew past! More pictures of the Star Viper: It was heading into space, towards the skyhook, and it was being chased by a Rebel Alliance A-Wing. "Rebel ship, this is Blue Squadron. You're in a battle zone. Clear these air traffic lanes unless you want to get shot at." Our ship vectored off into a safer part of the atmosphere while Blue Squadron chased down a swam of Star Vipers. They made a significant difference in the battle.
  17. Wow! 5 more months to get building! I will definitely have to participate.
  18. You can use LDD. Just start a new topic in Watto's Junkyard and post a link of it here.
  19. But this isn't Real Life. It's a game. This summarizes things very well.
  20. However, as has been stated by a few people, sending a large fleet of trade ships will usually pay for itself. There's always risk, but the odds of a good return are decent with trade ships. But sending a large fleet of Class A ships does not pay for itself. Let's say one of my Class 5A ships captures a 4A. I sell it for 300-400 DBs. That's still less than what a Class 5 trade ship brings in. The rules seem skewed to favor traders. You can argue that there will be fewer escorts so it'll be easier for pirates to capture ships. But they first have to afford being able to sail. And even then their return is less than the traders.
  21. Glad to hear you are planning on participating! I didn't think the two deadlines being near each other would hinder participation, but I'm glad we've resolved it anyway. I'll have to remember that next May. Glad you like it! I hope you do enter!
  22. I'm not rich, yet I have complaints. What category does that put me in? Your argument is only valid for Class 5 trade ships. None of the Class 5A ships brought in any DBs. I've captured at least 2 trade ships, maybe more. And I never received DBs for cargo. Same with the Sea Rat Faction ships, they've captured a couple trade ships and never got DBs.
  23. Yeah, that's a lot of DBs. I wasn't privy to the thought process behind the upkeep numbers, so I'll be interested to see how it plays out. Maybe the intention is for everyone to be able to afford fewer ships, so there are fewer ships to keep track of? The upkeep rules also seem to favor those who have trade ships. As the owner of almost all class A vessels, I don't get a lot of DBs after an MCRA. So that means after 1 or 2 runs, all my saved DBs will be gone from upkeep and I won't be able to afford sailing at all. That or I sail with fewer vessels each month which I'm sure ESL wouldn't mind. Wait... was ESL in charge of making these rules?
