I noticed that right away too. Though I think the mistake is on the box as the dark bley plate looks out of place.

All CMFs and Pick-a-Minifigure pieces are Chinese. Beyond that I don't know how to tell beyond the obvious quality difference. It's most noticeable in the shade of yellow on the hands to me. Just take a CMF and compare it to a fig from an official set and you'll see how the Chinese figs have a pale-r yellow.
-
I've found that wonky arms usually result from the type of arm I'm trying to attack to the type of torso. If it's a China based arm into a Denmark based torso, they are loose. But put the same arm back in the original torso and everything's tight again.

LEGO Star Wars 2018 News - EVERYONE READ FIRST POST

2018 Star Wars LEGO set info... Begin. -
Because this is a substantiated rumors forum! Not an opinion or a "I think" forum. Let's all follow Stash's example here.

This thread collects everything you think you know about 2018 LEGO Star Wars sets; discuss your opinions here! Please read before posting: Stay on target. No wish lists. Remember that this topic is for discussing sets that are rumored to come in 2018. If it's something you wish to see or something you think that we will see sometime in the future, but not something that's actually rumored to be a 2018 set, then it is pure speculation and it belongs in the Future Star Wars Sets topic. (We also have a topic for minifigs you want to see, which might be more appropriate.) No fighting. Yes, we actually have to post that! If you post news in this thread, it will not be transferred over to the 2018 News thread. Be smart, think about what you are posting and in what thread you are posting. This IS your warning! If you choose to post fabricated information; you can expect to be banned. It's not worth the fifteen minutes of internet fame. Do not post watermarked or confidential images; they will be removed and the poster will be dealt with appropriately. As stated in our Member Guidelines: This topic is for 2018 discussion, not 2019, and not 2017. We will make a new topic when we feel it is necessary. If your post was on the boards, and now it's not...there is a good chance it was either hidden or moved. Off topic posts, placing info in the wrong thread, or a request from LEGO to remove something; these are all possible reasons why something may have disappeared. Eurobricks Star Wars Forum Spoiler Policy With regards to upcoming sets and rumors: Read at your own risk. This is a topic about potential items to be released. If you do not want to know, stay out of these forums. With regards to spoiler tags: These are not required and we will not force anyone to use them. Members may use them if they choose, but please try to be respectful of others. If a member used a spoiler tag, their intention was to keep something quiet; it was a courtesy to others. If you choose to comment on the contents of that spoiler tag, please refrain from publicly mentioning what the contents of the spoiler were. With regards to movies: We feel that two weeks is an ample amount of time for most people to view a movie. Once a movie is released in the US, we, the staff, will do all we can to curb the usage of spoilers in any of the topics in the Star Wars forum for two weeks. If you do not see the movie within two weeks, then you read here at your own risk. There has not been an official policy in the SW forum before, so when we have complaints, we need to look at them from all angles and deal with each one on a case by case basis. This will be our new policy going forward. If you did not agree with us in the past, so be it. From this point on, we will not police the threads unless something becomes an issue. We ask that members not minimod in the thread and tell others to use spoiler tags. If something is a problem, please inform the mods by reporting it. The Jade Piranha Strikes Again! The Parched Pirate Pirate Pet Shop Warped Wood The Captain's Dinner Death Before Dinner Kraken Attacken! FYI: this entry is pro-Mardier. Captain Ralph was a noted soldier in Eslandola's army. He had proved himself time and time again in their skirmishes against Mardier. So it was an easy choice when Eslandola's higher ups needed someone to lead the Lechuga squadron against Mardier's defenses. Leading the forces defending the Mardier line, Sinbad had once again been outfitted with new credentials that placed him at the head of a squad of Corrington soldiers who had opted to fight on behalf of Mardier. Captain Ralph had arranged to have multiple boats land at the same time allowing them to storm the palisade from different directions. He hoped that this would cause confusion for the soldiers on the wall, allowing his Lechuga squad to take out the Corries and bring down this section of wall. However, Sinbad's troops had the high ground and with such an open beach, it was easy for them to get the shots off they needed to slaughter the Eslandolian troops. Brave to the last, Captain Ralph was the first to be cut down. His troops mourned his loss and bravely fought on in his honor, but with no results except their own deaths. OoC: Special thanks to @Stash2Sixx for donating the amazing custom ESL troops and guns to be musket fodder for my MOC!

Right now, there's no way to lay out a black and white rule for what is a rumor and what is speculation. The first is allowed in this topic, the 2nd is frowned upon or not allowed depending on the severity. Talking about official information or well supported rumors is what this thread is for. When the discussion moves down the road of talking about someone's ideas about someone else's theories about a supposed rumor is where we start to get into that no-fly zone. You claim that logic and analysis is being used in the lists being created for what characters could be used for May the 4th, but really it's just wish lists of non-represented characters.
-
This has officially gone from rumor to speculation. Please stop speculating about the May the 4th promo fig. Wait for more facts.

Thanks! There are a few more on my Flickr if you're interested.

The Jade Piranha Strikes Again! The Parched Pirate Pirate Pet Shop Warped Wood The Captain's Dinner Death Before Dinner FYI: this entry is pro-Mardier. While many Sea Rats had hired their services out to Mardier in their war against Eslandola, the faction as a whole remained swayed by dubloons, not politics. One such crew had been hired by one Sir Blake, an Eslandolian entrepreneur with grand designs for controlling the seas most feared beasts. He had the ship set sail for open waters, many leagues from the nearest island. Sir Blake had studied the effects of music upon animals and was convinced that he could summon and control a fearsome creature from the depths of the ocean the likes of which had only before been seen in nightmares. He began to play the organ and waited while the reverberations sank deep into the sea. After some time of playing he heard the cry go out "Sea beast spotted captain!" He rushed on deck and boasted proudly, "Now we shall watch as the beast attacks Eslandola's foes!" However, his boast was empty. Rather than command this creature, all Sir Blake had done was awaken and anger it. Following the source of the disturbance, the kraken proceeded to destroy the nuisance. Stunned by his failure, all Sir Blake could do was watch in terror as the crew hopeless tried to fight off the beast.

I've found some people that have access to Lego factory extras. I don't think they are supposed to be selling them, but that doesn't stop everyone. Some may also have gotten a lot of 1 part through a LUG. Again, not supposed to re-sell those but those are two options.

Maybe you should both read the past few pages and the first page before getting yourselves chambered. Source does matter for our rumors and helps dictate what we should be talking about.
-
I disagree. And to me, a license is just a piece of paper giving you permission to use a vessel the specifications of which depend on the class being bought. If I buy a fishing license, I'm not buying the fish, I'm buying the legal right to keep the fish I've caught. Same with a hunting license. Same with these ship licenses. If I buy a 4A license, I should be able to use it on any 4A ship I own, whether I'm building it new, captured it, or bought it. I'm paying to attach the license to the ship. You could argue about where the actual cost for the ship comes into play, but this is a game, not real life, and we just need to let the game mechanics work sometimes. I think Bregir's opinions are because he focuses on trade. Allow those of us who focus on capturing have a say!
-
Congratulations Octan. You played well and you deserve your hard fought for win. May I ask who got 2nd place?
-
Uh, when I mentioned what you quoted from me it was because the actual movie was coming out. That's very different from leaked set photos. If you don't want to see those, stay off the internet. Or at least don't open any spoilers.

You can talk about all of that. But for right now please don't talk about the last two since right now they have no pictures and only people's word that they exist. Give it a few days for this craziness to die down and then we can talk about TLJ rumors again, hopefully in a more civilized manner.
