  1. Small, but nicely detailed. I like your story and I really like the bottom half of the wall with the inverted arch.
  2. I'll echo the feelings about the door. Great work! Adding more to the scene can be difficult if you don't have plant pieces, but I would recommend trying brick built hills or plants to add to the scene.
  3. I've updated the map. It'll take some time before I have any bios ready. Here are the planets added: Lothal Jakku Takodana Mustafar Utapau Kamino Korriban Rodia Ithor Duro Ryloth Onderon Keep in mind no one knows where Lothal is really located. I placed it where most people are guessing it to be. If anyone wanted to write bios about these planets as well as Kashyyyk, Tatooine, and Nar Eurbrikka I wouldn't complain

  6. Great use of the new Nexo shields!
  7. Well I am a Sea Rat, but I love that oven! Great job!
  8. Please, make all the gold you can, because then we Sea Rats can steal it!
  9. Wow, two wooden legs! Those have to be challenging to walk on!
  10. What about the title "Official Killer Pie Baker"?
  11. Thank you to all who have commented on the book stand! I can't take all the credit for it though. I got the initial idea from this Ideas project. I didn't think of adding white tiles to the book, great idea! I'm glad you like the story! It's the story that keeps me building more than the building keeps me story telling.
  12. I would argue that just because it's a pirate fort doesn't mean it has to be dirty or grungy. Not all pirates are slobs, this group happens to disagree with the way governments handle trade so they have annexed themselves from the whole process and fly the banner of free trade. This just also happens to be "the black" as the pirate flag is sometimes known as. My pirates are a ruthless bunch, but ruthless doesn't equal messy. That said I do need to work on improving my "clutter" in my MOCs! I guess that's what I get for coming from a GoH building background Your point is a valid one and one I will try to take into account along with my limited piece inventory. I have a larger collection than I used to a year ago, but it's still not heavy enough in bley bricks to be able to build large and think walls.
  13. My trained chickens are available for a mere 3 DBs each. Please place your order and expect about 3-4 weeks delivery time I'm glad you like it! Not sure if I'd go so far as to call it a "china-town," but there will be a lot of Asian type people inhabiting it! Well, when tropical storms hit the poor just hide in the nearest stone building and return home to pick up the pieces of what's left of their dwellings. Not a great life, but beggars can't be choosers! The part is called "Round 1x1 tile with pin (or nipple)." I got it in the Friends Tourist Kiosk set (yes, I do buy Friends sets, don't judge) but it's also in the Doctor Who set and a bunch of other Friends sets.
  14. I tried to spice it up with the shield, but I agree that I could have added a little more texture. I tend to be a clean builder so that's sometimes hard for me! The part is indeed the paint roller handle! In particular from the Master Wu's Dragon set. As for the cleanness, I agree that a little more clutter would have helped. I've been trying to improve on that for years now and still have a long way to go!
  15. Thanks for all your feedback. I'll assume we are on the right track unless Ska jumps in! Thought I'd put that up there also so that everyone knows we can all hit two ports regardless of our vessel's speed. EDIT: that quote got me thinking, how does that work for ships that are only able/allowed to travel in 1 zone, like the row boat? Does that mean they can't go on trade runs since you have to visit at least 2 zones?
  16. I think it's this part that's still throwing me. Almost all of the free class ships that everyone will be using this month can only visit 2 ports. So what does "distance" have to do with it? Isn't it just a matter of picking the top most lucrative ports and weighing the odds against an attack?
  17. Sorry for all the questions, but if a ship has a Speed value of 2, does that mean it can only visit two ports, or two sections on the map? For instance, this MRCA round many of the sections have 2 ports. But if my ship only has a value of 2 can it visit both ports in one section (like both Aden and Londa in section 2) and travel to another section and visit both those ports (like Kieg and Stedor in section 1)?
  18. Did I forget to mention that the parrot is deaf And I'm glad you got that the kegs were gunpowder! Oh no, most definitely stolen goods!
  19. Regarding the MCRA now that we have a map, do we have to start from our faction's main port or can we start from anywhere? In the example MCRA run it isn't stated. So could I have a trade run from Belson to Granoleon, or because I'm a Sea Rat I would have to start at Bastion?

  21. I present to you (and hereby claim all the benefits that come with "founding" this city, i.e. mayor's pay) the pirate port of Rassilon! This is a rough map of the city. Once Ska has the map of The Nest of Thieves I'll be able to show exactly where it's at on the island. There are 3 MOCs depicting the city so far: Tavern Housing Fort Other Sea Rats are welcome to build in Rassilon for free (unless the Sea Rat leaders say otherwise), but if you are from another faction I will not allow you to build for free! (again, unless the Sea Rat leaders say otherwise) All hail honor among thieves!
  22. Previously: Recruiting at Marco's This Is Not the Wealthy Housing of Rassilon Falling Out with Foxx OoC: This is my 4th freebuild, if you are not a Sea Rat please mark whether you vote for this build or not! Cantu’s Fort was situated on the east side of the bay. It was presided over by Jorge Cantu, a notorious pirate who had left Eslandola early on in its race for exploration to pursue the more lucrative occupation of piracy. After capturing rich prize after rich prize, Cantu decided it would be wise to find a place to guard his wealth and what health remained him. He had worked with Captain Fang on many raids so it was a natural choice to him for to have Cantu take over the running of the fort. Many wares were brought through the fort (for a fee of course) for protection while in transition between buyers. After returning from Olean, Sinbad accompanied Li Fang to the fort to see if they could find a new prize to go after. Since the funds they received from Lord Foxx were barely enough to cover the costs of their journey, let along pay the crew anything, Captain Cho had agreed that they needed to go after a lucrative prize quickly or risk mutiny from the crew. Li negotiated with Jorge Cantu and left with some valuable information.
