Welcome to SoNE Windusky! It's good to have you on board. Your build is good and very Star Warsy. I really like the way you focused your last picture to add some blur to the background. A couple recommendations would be to add tiles to the top of the build to give it a cleaner feel and to maybe try some different lighting techniques. Also a couple things to know as you start building for SoNE since we are very different from GoH or AG: 1) your character has to have the same name as your screen name, so in your case your character's name would be Windusky. You could say that his full name is Windusky Halixon but should refer to him from time to time as Windusky. 2) You can't actually start out as a Special Ops member. You have to work your way up the ranks to that position. For the sake of your story right now you could say that you are a regular trooper who has been enlisted by the Special Ops team to help them on a number of missions until you achieve the rank of Special Ops. You should check out the rules here. Please don't get scared by all the suggestions! We are glad to have you in the SoNE community.

Speaking as a regulator myself, it can be difficult to find the balance between keeping a thread on topic and coming across as harsh. Please give your moderators some slack and know that they are only human and are trying their best to keep everybody happy.

Well At Least One Fixing to Clear the Mind Thermal Detonator Pot-Pie Focus Torturous Trial The Escape MKJoshA was forced to leave his ship, Rough Edges, in the space docks above Fondor when he and Kale fled the planet. He knew it would probably be impounded and sold for scrap, but that was a small price to pay to avoid the clutches of the Empire. Instead of the comforts of his own ship, he and Kale found themselves on board a barely space-worthy vessel known as The Calamity Star. In his efforts to help Josh escape, Kale had connected with the Rebel Alliance to see if they had any means of assisting. It turned out that they were no better equipped than Kale in helping Josh escape, but they did have a way for them to leave the planet. The Rebel Alliance was pursuing a mutually beneficial relationship with the crime syndicate known as the Black Sun. The Black Sun had a freighter leaving Fondor that day taking cargo to Nar Eurbrikka, and they were in need of two more crew members. Kale had signed the two of them up and they made it off world before the Imperials knew where they had gone. Josh and Kale needed to get to Kuat, but since the Black Sun was their only safe way off planet and since the Rebels needed their help a detour to Nar Eurbrikka couldn't be avoided. Josh just hoped the effort in helping the Black Sun was worth it. OoC: Comments and critiques welcome! I decided to double up my entry for this contest with my SHIP endeavors. Took a lot more bricks than I expected, but I'm pleased with the results.

Location: B06 Sorn Tags: Vehicle, Driver, Exploration Ender had been assigned to Sorn and tasked with the construction of an underwater base. He was in the process of leveling out the seabed when something shiny came into view. He had stumbled across a crystal forest! Not wanting to destroy such a beautiful creation of nature, Ender called in to HQ to see if the underwater base could be placed elsewhere.

That would be great! I know we could use another builder for the contest ending in less than two weeks.

This is a great tie-in to your last build! It doesn't have the SW feel to it, but the story makes up for that by far! Good work!

All I knew was the pain from loosing my brother and the pain from being tortured by the Empire. I wasn’t the only one being mistreated by the Empire either, I passed many other poor beings on my way to and from the torture room. They looked as bad off as I was. I began to understand how the Rebel Alliance had started. I joined them because it seemed like the politically right thing to do. I had been tired of the corrupt bureaucrats on Correillia and wanted a way to react. I realized now that most beings within the Rebel Alliance were there because it was the morally right thing to do. When the government takes away your freedoms and treats you as being worth less than those in office, then it is time to stand up to that government. I was in the middle of these thoughts when a voice called to me through the wall of the cell next to mine. “You are the quietest prisoner I’ve ever met. Every time I’m in here I make such a ruckus singing off key pop Bith tunes that they end of releasing me early just so they can have some peace and quiet.” I knew that voice! “Kale?” I asked tentatively. I heard a noises like snap, and hiss and saw an orange glow along the edges of the wall. The wall fell back and Kale pushed it up into his doorway. “In the flesh!” I started sputtering, “Kale… You’re a Jedi!?... Why didn’t you tell me? How did you get here?” “Whoah! Hold on there,” started Kale, “I’m not a Jedi. I just happen to have a lightsaber. I couldn’t use it in a fight to save my life. The rest can wait, we need to get out of here!” An hour later, and many more holes, we were on the streets of Fondor City running for our lives. “Quick, I parked the speeder bike over here!” shouted Kale. We ran up just as one of the Fondorian law enforcers was about to put a parking ticket on the bike. “Sorry sir, no time to waste, have a good day, thank you!” I said to him in a rush as Kale started the bike. We heard shouts from across the bridge and saw that the Imperials had found us. I jumped in the back of the bike and we sped off into the distance. “We have to get off the planet” said Kale. “It’s not safe for either of us now.” “But I still have to track down those Mandalorians!” I replied. “Don’t worry, we’ll come back” answered Kale. “I know a guy on Kuat who can help us. But right now the Rebel Alliance needs your help with the Black Sun and we need to get off Fondor. Seemed like a convenient excuse to me.” I had many more questions, but I knew he was right. OoC: Please note that the first two pictures are not meant to be judged as part of this freebuild.

There should be no problem with you changing your face. The other MODs can correct me if I mis-understood their comments, but I think you could even change to a different species if you were going from Empire to Rebels. Your defection build would then show your old character leaving the Rebels/Empire and a brand new character (with the same name as your old one since it needs to be your screen-name) joining the other side. Since this can only happen once, I don't think there is an issue with it. Your defection freebuild can be built whenever you want, but you won't be eligible for XP for your new team until after you've built it. As you want to build for the Empire for the current episode you would need to build the defection build before entering the contest. Hope that helps!

Oh, I like that analogy I understanding wanting fair to be fair. But I've been in the situation where I really needed an extra day and was super appreciative when it was given so I'm included to show for "carpool grace."

We've discussed this and decided that each player can be allowed to change sides once in their lifetime. This allows people like you, Lego Fett to change after you've had a chance to test the waters, but also prevents people from switching back and forth whenever they feel like it. Anyone who wants to switch sides will be forfeiting all of their current XP and most build a MOC showing their defection to the other side. This MOC will not be eligible for XP for their new player. So Lego Fett you can change before the episode ends and still build for the Rebels, you just have to build the defection MOC first. I hope that's clear enough. Let me know if you have questions. I don't think we have a set uniform. Pretty much any Rebel Alliance torso or variation there of should be fine. It's the rebellion anyway, who says we have to have uniforms? You can look at some of my past MOCs to see the variety I used for my character.
