  1. Great start though! You being able to use GIMP will greatly improve your pictures, regardless of photo quality. But you'll get lots of tips on how to improve your pictures while your here so that will improve along with your building skills. You're in the best guild for contructive feedback!
  2. Maybe you're all just the strong silent type.
  3. Okay, thanks. I got some more info from over in Mitgardia so I found what I needed.
  4. As everyone else has said, this is an amazing organic build. Very nice!
  5. I read them... sometimes I love the giant engine housing on this thing!
  6. Love it! It would have been amazing if Lego had made an actual line of sets from Avatar. So much good build material!
  7. Oh wow. These are amazing! Love the unique use of so many parts. You've really taken the some of the chima pieces to an all new level.
  8. Love the trans-red pieces! Really makes this build pop!
  9. Nice use of purple!
  10. Simple, clean, amazing!
  11. The only critique I have is that our colors include regular green, not the dark green you have. But the build is very nice.
  12. So how does the relationship between de Gothia and Elon work? Was this in a previous build I missed?
  13. Your story writting is amazing. I'm eager to see where it goes next! The clutter in your build does seem a little random, but I love the landscaping you've done with tan plates. Great job on a first build!
  14. In preparation for the 5th I have a question about maps and locations. If I want to add a city or location to the map in Mitgardia should I just explain where it is in location to other places already on the map, or is there a more specific way I should go about doing that?
  15. I like the pearl-gold round tiles you used on your flag holder.
  16. Love the chains on the ground. Not a normal landscaping texture technique but it works really well for your build. Why does everyone use the word "lurking" before they join? I've noticed it a lot over the past few weeks.
  17. Love the bay window and the minifigure posing of the farmer throwing his pitchfork behind him as he runs. You have a very unique building style and I'm looking forward to seeing more. You're like the Tim Burton of Mitgardia.
  18. Wow, you guys in Kaliphlin certainly have my sympathy. Lots of woe to go around, sorry to hear that. Are you in charge of all the maps or only Kaliphlins?
  19. Did my name change without me knowing it?
  20. Yeah, 80 pages of "We want Gondor " says it pretty loud
  21. Thanks for all the feedback guys! @BEAVeR: The track was tricky, I tried to make it look run down while still making it a clean build. Thank you for the suggestions though. @MstrOfPppts: You have a good point about the angles. I hadn't noticed that all three of those things were parallel. I have a build with pretty straight lines in mind for my next free build so I can't say I'll have much variety next time. But whenever I do have angles I'll try to have more variety. As for bigger pictures, you can see bigger ones on my Flickr Page. @Artizan: Yes, I've noticed that. It wasn't intentional and I already have plans to change it for the next build. It's about time for my character to have a change of wardrobe anyway.
  22. Let me know how to whom to send my sig-fig info and I will.
  23. OoC: See the rest of the story: First They Came For the Qwohogs A Brother's Work Is Never Done A Night At Hao's The Breakout Commandeered Escape A Rebel Leaving Corellia "In The Shadows To The Left" Imperial Troops Have Entered the Base! Sand Crab Attack! "Rough Edges" There's No Place Like Hoth For the Holidays After proving myself on Hoth, the Alliance decided to send me on a more important role. They put me and Yeoman on the intelligence staff. Now, some people think of intelligence operatives as those who sit in comfy offices and sift through data all day, but not in the Alliance. We were given a mission to gather intel on Ord Mantell. The Alliance had heard that there were some old Imperial Star Destroyer components dumped in one of various junkyards strewn across the planet. They were dumped illegally by a subsidiary company that helped maintain the Imperial fleet. The company didn’t want to pay the fees to dispose of the parts legally which explained why they ended up in the junkyard. After landing the Rough Edges we made our way through miles of junkyards tracing leads. We finally ended up along an unused train-way that had fallen into great disrepair. “We haven’t found anything useful Yeoman, are we sure Intelligence wasn’t just trying to get a couple of new recruits out of their hair?” MKJoshA asked. “The Alliance is not like the Empire,” answered Yeoman. “They utilize every person they have at their disposal. No one is going to be sent on a wild goose chase just because. And you have to remember, I’ve been with the Alliance for a lot longer. I know some of the people in Intel. They sent us here because they had a valid lead. Now quiet your complaining and keep looking for Imperial markings!” We were about to continue down the track when a bounty hunter confronted us. “This is my territory. No one passes through here without my authority!” He said. “How about a sniper shot at point blank range?” Yeoman asked as he squeezed his trigger. We dumped the body with the rest of the junk and continued on our search. “I thought intel work would be boring, but“ thought MKJoshA, “the bounty hunter we ran into on Ord Mantell made me changed my mind.”
