I will do photos of the canons. The ship is still there. Not taken apart ;-) But here is one little picture which is already at my gallery. You just cannot see it when you go through the other pictures because it is in the overview gallery. -Aredhel

Islanders allied with someone? Don't think they will ally with anyone :-P They just did not behave like friends... this pirate folk :-P -Aredhel

Thanks for you nice words. The mermaid from the HP set, is really nice, like the whole Harry Potter set. The set has very nice pieces and nice little details. IMO its worth its 25

Did not think about that until now. But I think if you behave nice, they can be very nice islanders :-P -Aredhel

Shrek 3 is already in cinema? In Germany it will come at 21st June... :-(

I went to Pirates of the Caribbean 3 yesterday evening *wub* . The effects are really great and its a very good movie. But there are very much confusing scenes, where you do not know who is on whos side etc. All in all, I will see it again in cinema (yesterday I watched it in german, but I will watch it in english then)! -Aredhel

Those new racers look really great. But first of all, I have to get some other racers to complete my collection ;-) -Aredhel

I noticed that, too. I have got the Durmstrang ship at home. The form of it is really similar to it, though it was not planned. The thing I miss at the Durmstrang ship are sails. At the Durmstrang are a lot of nice pieces to use, but alltogether its not my favourite Harry Potter set. I have thought of this, too, but the way I tried, it did not work. Maybe in my next ship I will try to do it better ;-) LOL!!! :'-) Yes, this could be the falldown of the Islanders :-P -Aredhel

The pirate ship is ready and named MS Mermaid. Here is the link to the thread! -Aredhel

Yes, I have seen that. too. But after finishing it, I just did not want to destroy and rebuild because of that :-$ Thanks for your nice words, Mister Phes. -Aredhel

30d Hello all! Today I want to present you my first pirate ship I ever did. I called it MS Mermaid because I choosed a mermaid as the figurehead of the ship. First of all an overview picture: As you can see, it is a two-mast-ship. Some ideas for the ship I got from the set 6286. The figurehead is from the Harry Potter set 4762 - Rescue from the Merpeople. At the back of the ship, like it should be, the captain navigates the ship. He is guarded by two other pirates: For more things, look at my gallery when moderated. Hope you like it or maybe you can comment on what I did good or what could be better for my next ship! Greetings, Aredhel

I think its called 1024 because he builds only on 32x32 plates and 32x32=1024 ;-) -Aredhel

Thats a cute little set you got there... congrats! -Aredhel

I voted for the red Mary-Jane... Its a cute torso and it looks nice for the fig. And as you see: My sigfig has a similar torso ;-) -Aredhel

Yes, you are right, but when I started I never knew that it would be as it is/was now. The wall around the village is only to seperate the village itself. I wanted to build a pirate ship into this MOC, too, but this is another project which I will finish this evening. Maybe today or tomorrow you will all see my first pirate ship :-$ -Aredhel

No, this is a baby... And pirate heads are normally not painted in the Islanders face paintings :-P Thank you for all your nice answers. Took really long enough to do this MOC... If you wanna see, I started in October 2006: WIP-Islanders -Aredhel

I just finished my huuuge Islanders' village. Here are a few pictures and the link to the Pirate MOC forum: My gallery is already moderated! And finally the link to my review: Pirate MOC forum -Aredhel

Hello all!!! After ages, I just finished my biggest work ever. You might know it from earlier threads... Let's start!!! :-$ :-$ This is a little animation of a poor pirate who is going to be roasted! 8-| After this little shock for you, pirates, here the rest of my MOC-review: First of all, I wanna show you an overall view of the MOC. In the middle you can see the lookout tower, which was the very first thing of this MOC. At the back, there is a throne of the Islanders-chief. At the left, there is the rosting-pirates-detail I showed you above. In the back of this scene you can see a little Islanders home (you will see it in detail later on). On the right side there are a few poor pirates beeing bound to poles, and a woman sitting in a cage! Now to the details: First of all, I will show you the little house I mentioned before: The next detail is the throne of the chief, where the pirate captain has to negotiate with the chief. At the back of the throne you can see dead pirate-skeletons. What I wanna show you next are the poles and the cage, where the pirate bride and some of the crew are there until the negotiation between the captain and the chief is finished. Here is a pic of the lookout tower: And finally I wanna show you, what kind of minifigs and how many parts I used for that MOC 8-o ... Hope you liked it! Gallery already moderated! PS: There is nothing I want to say against pirates... This MOC just grew like this :-$ -Aredhel

Thank you all for your unexpected late answers :-P :-$ I hope I will post more of my older sets in the next time. There are really cool sets I found about 2 years ago... -Aredhel
