Poor Sheldon, just as he was ready to file his patent for interlocking wooden pieces. Seems like we've nailed a killer. However, it is surprising that he has only struck two times so far. Could it be he could only kill on even nights?
-
Well, we can't really know for sure, but... ... looks like we can get some resolution on who the Demon Legion killer and who a possible neutral (serial) killer is by following up on this pretty clear lead... It does assume we can trust you and your apostles allies.

All I know I was kidnapped during the third night, which is why I could not talk or vote during day 4, and released last night. By who I was kidnapped I do not know. I can only assume it was the Demon Legion.

It certainly is good to be back to the village. At least some of you noted my absence yesterday. I was kidnapped. I was captured during the third night and held in a dark place the whole day yesterday. I can only assume someone with evil intent kidnapped me. I did not see who did this to me though. And... what a tragic night indeed. The Demon Legion seem to be well-informed about the important abilities of certain villagers, which worries me greatly. The protector and vigilante taken down. Let's just hope that at least Benji's ability can be passed on to another villager. Exactly my thinking. The can, torch, and hammer were passed on to another killer. A 'neutral' would not have any allies to pass these items on to. My reading of yesterday's events is that Felix was blocked and killed by members of the village and revived yesterday by one of his Demon Legion allies. That makes a whole lot more sense than him being converted, which would be unlikely for a neutral anyway. If this is true I'm starting to lose my faith in God (Hinck would be megablocking with us too much), but I wouldn't be really surprised either. For now, it seems most likely that the Demon Legion kills by means of fire and the other killer - the black wand killer - could then be a neutral.

They all turned out great but I ended up voting for Rufus' banner. The overall composition looks very well balanced to me. The colors especially are very well balanced across the banner. I really like def's second which ties in very well with the new box art. LuxorV's second is my favorite. The sober color scheme and the three ghost figs turned out really great. His first and third are really well-designed as well, but a little crowded in my opinion. I like Brickthing's banner for the same reason (simple, clean color scheme).

Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa

Uhm, there are members of the Mafia among you, that choose to kill a member of the Town each night. The town has one possible conviction per day to try and find these mafia members. It's sort of like... the essence of the game... And this is playing the game outside the day thread, which is not allowed. Complimenting the host is allowed though. -
So far there hasn't been a new mold in any of the other modular sets, only parts in new colors. What there has been in all of the modulars is clever existing part usage. So, my guess is that it either is a combination of existing parts or perhaps it's a new mold but not exclusively made for this modular.

Do you always talk to yourself? I agree, we have to rid ourselves of the scum blocker first. So far, the only evidence that emerged from the night is the investigation of claimed blocker Lazlo who was apparently cleared. (To some, these one-shot abilities may sound odd, but I've heard of more people with one-shot abilities, so I think some of you will not be so surprised by this.) Lauren has so much as publicly claimed she blocked Edgar on night 1 when called out by the late Bridget Bunny. Only to later retract that statement and claim she only knows the blocker. It looks like all we have today is to... Vote: Lauren Lamb (Zepher) Note that I am in no way certain of Helen's innocence, but as with Lauren, I think she deserves another night to prove herself and hopefully be investigated.

Horace's story indeed sounds a little weird given the two killers (besides the arsonist) we've seen today. Nothing crow-like to them at all. But I don't think it's unusual if an unsuccessful kill remains undocumented. It's not an easy strategy to pull off, but I guess it's possible that Helen is a member of the Demon Legion trying really hard to look like a villager. Right now however, I think it's most likely that both of you are villagers. And what more, I think the members of the Demon Legion are laughing their megablocks of watching you two calling each other names here. In the meantime, we need to get this blocker story straightened out. So far, the only evidence we have is the investigation of Lazlo. Since this apparently was a one-shot ability, I'd be surprised if there is no 'real' investigator on our side. It would be nice if he would find a way to disseminate his findings and... maybe it's a good idea to check on Helen Hippo tonight. Oh, and could the fact that Bristol Bunny's body is nowhere to be found and we can't determine her alliance perhaps be the work of a Demon Legion Janitor? The remains were clearly there after the demon was done with her after all...

What a night indeed. Welcome back, Booker! We can finish the waxing tonight if you want. Wendell, I didn't trust you for laying so low the first two days, but you sacrificed yourself to bring back Booker! I am willing to believe for now that Helen is on our side, but I fail to see how she's a 'confirmed' villager all of a sudden. Also, I agree with Foxy, it seems odd that there are at least two people who can bring people back from the dead. Although, Wendell's ability seemed to work on people whose alignment had already been revealed. Maybe the other person's ability only works before the morning (so before the alignment is known)? Poor Bunny, trying to protect Helen with good intentions, failing, and then getting killing on top of that. And then what to make of the two killers with magic wands? They both targeted a confirmed Villager. They can't both be Demon Legion killers... I hope... And indeed Booker, I haven't seen a crow in any of this... weird indeed. And it is weird that we don't know Bristol Bunny's alignment. First threatening us to convict someone, or else..., then not even giving us any feedback about our conviction. That's ducked up indeed.

The Forest Mafia Confirmation & Discussion thread

Sick crazy bastard. I almost couldn't bear watching Bristol Bunny being tied up in the village square (excellently posed figures). But yeah, I agree, I'm enjoying the images a lot. -

Right, because once a majority is reached, the day ends (even though the thread may not be closed yet). -

It also means, one in three being a corner building. GE replaced CC in that respect. So, on any new promo image, you'd have one (nearly/just) discontinued building, one building that's a year old, and one brand new building. One of them being a corner building.

I too am highly suspicious of Lazlo and that hasn't changed from day one, but at least his (claimed) important night action might have been a reason for not coming forward sooner. I agree with you completely, and I think he should have done better by not making himself so suspicious... There isn't that much time left when you consider we take our afternoon naps (timezones and all) at different times. The timing of his claim doesn't really surprise me. If the votes against him would have stopped and one or two, he'd be stupid to have claimed sooner. And even if he had done it privately, he might have been talking to the wrong people. Call me a pussy , but I don't really dare to vote out a claimed blocker at this point. I'm far from convinced Bristol is a member of the Demon Legion, but it seems like the only other option for a conviction today. We're not avoiding a random death by sparing her, but we are avoiding the Demon Legion becoming more powerful. Vote: Bristol Bunny (Bob the Construction Man)
-
I agree with the suspicions against both Bristol Bunny and Lazlo Lion. Lazlo is just quiet and as Mr. Piggy pointed out not contributing a thing to the discussions. I agree with Helen and Benji that Bristol just 'smells' scummy to me so far. As indicated we still have the whole afternoon to reach a decision and in order to avoid splitting the vote, I'm not placing my vote just yet. But I would like to hear Lazlo's and Bristol's defense as soon as possible.

Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa
Rick replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Also, non-random character assignment isn't the worst offense to make, as long as roles and night actions are randomly assigned. But it looks like JimB randomized both in Werewolf. Besides, Hinck made his character into an applesauce slut. I'm pretty sure that wasn't in the character description. -
From the events and claims so far, it seems protection in this game is only from one source of evil (given the all-fur nature of this, I'm sure I'm not telling the evil forces anything new here ). Booker's orb apparently didn't protect him from fire, although it was suggested it was a form of protection. And Edgar claims to protect from the arsonist only. So indeed it was merely an observation. I'm pretty convinced you're an innocent villager at this point and told you as much in our private conversation. And I sure hope that powder of yours burns the arsonists' skin off as well. As to what happened around Edgar last night. I guess it's possible that only innocent villagers targeted him. I'm just surprised at the lack of coordination of efforts of those who apparently know more of the situation. The nexus of all of this, Edgar, is convinced by now that they're all innocent, yet Ms. Bunny has been going public with her suspicions.

Just linking (instead of uploading) to the one he also has in his sig should solve that. You all really like your characters don't you, that you have them in both your sig and as your avatar? -
That's amazing. I'm glad this is a raffle and not a competition though. This certainly looks more comfortable than being smacked with a frying pan indeed. And Mrs. Panda also looks a lot better without her face rubbed off.
