- Must be wearing a robe of some kind. [ I have no idea why Corny gave me this title. I guess it has something to do with the title "King of Page 100" I gave him. For the record: I'm not wearing a robe of any kind. ]

The position and future of Friends and minidolls in Lego?
Rick replied to Dorayaki's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Did you ever build a Friends set? I think you'll find that the difficulty of the build is comparable to City sets. Have a look at the Friends review index to read some of the reviewers' thoughts on the building process. -
Chill out. I'm not sure what ox urine is supposed to solve. Have some 'shrooms and let's catch those bloody servants of Loki. That's what... nevermind.

We've featured snaillad's Modular Buildings before on the Eurobricks frontpage and now he's back again with another magnificent Art Deco building: the Monde Cinéma. Check out more pictures and discover the downstairs bar in the Town forum.

Ragnarök Now Redux - Confirmation & Discussion
Rick replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Aaaaaaaargh, it's good to be back. I'm right here and I'm not even (very) drunk. I went looking for my uhm... drinking buddy Petrus. He's nowhere to be seen though. So, I just had a few drinks and some 'shrooms. But, my dear Snotra, it's good to be home again. Did I make it in time for dinner? This is going to get annoying quickly. -
It's really nice of you that you want to thank someone for starting a topic, but please also consider our policy on topic bumping (linked in the Site Guidelines). Thanks.

Merry Christmas from Becka Bulldog

Eurobricks is not the place to talk about parenting. There probably are plenty of discussion fora on the internet about the topic. This argument ends right here. Please go back to discussing the 2014 SW sets. Thanks.

The theme this year is Expand the Winter Village Market. We don't want to constrain your creativity by saying it should be another ride or stall, but I don't think you should use that freedom to build anything winter-themed that you like (if that's what you're asking).

Let's stick to multiples of 8x8 modules (so one 16x16 module, two 8x16 modules, one 8x16 and two 8x8 modules, or four 8x8 modules). I'll clarify the point further in the rules. Yes, as indicated in the rules, for the photographs only minifigures or minidolls are allowed outside of the bases.

That's the choice we made in setting up our forums. Sticking (loosely) to TLG's theme classification allows us to keep news, discussion and related MOCs together. The other examples of cars you mention would, if built in minifig (or minidoll) scale, fit in the Town forum. There is, but that's for you to find out in the FAQ.

Showing your creations is a good way to have people get to know you. Your Batmobile would go in the Licensed Themes forum as it's a MOC based on an official LEGO license. Action Themes is for news, discussion and MOCs related to LEGO's "own" (non-licensed) action themes (e.g., Ninjago, Chima, Monster Fighters, etc.).

Welcome to Eurobricks. You can start by checking out the links in my signature. Lots of things are explained in the FAQ and tutorials.

Probably a "snotted" version of this, covered with a tile.

These are great ideas for Expanding the Winter Village Market. I encourage you to build some of these in real bricks and enter the competition.
-
You can tell us all about your purchases in this thread.

Do you really expect anyone to disagree with you building a couple of airport firefighting vehicles? Judging by the reactions so far, people are looking forward to seeing your builds, so I'd say: get building and show us what you come up with.
-
Yes, up to a certain extent. I'll add this aspect to the rules as well.
-
There's no height restriction. Just make sure it fits the Winter Village Market.

It's impressive how Jamie makes a building look much smaller than it actually is. I guess it's because of all the intricate detailing. You can rewind the video if you want.

Reviewers Academy Teacher dj2005 provides us with an in-depth review of the upcoming 10243 Parisian Restaurant. Check out the complete review in the Town forum. On a related note, members of LowLUG will be building the Parisian Restaurant at their Rotterdam event today. You can follow their progress online via a livestream.
