  1. You did notice it was changed in the meantime?
  2. They typically don't have replacement parts available for the Collectable Minifigures (see here for set numbers)
  3. It's probably just because you talk too much.
  4. We'll just have to kill you right away.
  5. It wasn't me.
  6. Agreed. The scum should be able to credibly claim. But I understand the hosts wanted to keep the exact win conditions a secret for both the town and the scum this time.
  7. They're also in a few early 2012 City releases (click, click, click, click, click, and... click ) Overall, not that impressive and indeed, there are hints of (for lack of a better term) juniorisation. It certainly doesn't compare well to the early 2012 City releases. I guess it will be an exclusive in some countries and therefore isn't presented as part of the regular City lineup. It doesn't fit in a subtheme for this year either: forest police and fire, (civilian) vehicles (which includes the ambulance), or mining.
  8. Thanks to everyone for entering and congratulations to the very deserving winners. And thanks to Ricecracker for taking care of the prizes!
  9. Thanks for gracing the town forum with another great review of one of the new civilian vehicles. Yay! indeed. It's a nice break from all the police and fire sets (even though they changed the surroundings to the forest this year). I like the variation this brings to the truck lineup in LEGO City (the early trucks all looked a little alike). As you show it's clearly a Mercedes Econic truck, and I like that they've included glass on the side all the way to the bottom of the truck. This is definitely a better rendition of the real thing than the ladder truck in the latest fire station. The figures are a bit boring. The torso prints don't really resemble the outfits worn by garbage collectors (at least not where I live) and certainly not all of them wear caps. Some variation there would have been nice. They exist where I live. They collect both waste and organic waste and people have garbage bins with two separate compartments for that. Edit: Blogged on CT!
  10. Happy birthday fellow fellows.
  11. I moved this from Town to the General discussion forum.
  12. You're welcome. Entirely my pleasure.
  13. Hinckley came up with the idea for the contest. Together with Ricecracker and Phred, I put together the voting thread this year.
  14. I blame Hinck entirely because he included me in his PMs on day 1. *Shakes his fist at Hinckleeeeeeeeeeeey* Now didn't I tell you Foog was a bit quiet in our group PM? And you were suspicious of me. Who wouldn't lynch Bob? I think def mentioned that first yes. And I agreed. But yeah, it's probably a lot easier when you're just observing from the sidelines and know who the scum are.
  15. As I also wrote in the comments on Cuusoo, I think it makes most sense to release this idea as an MMV (Medieval Market Village 10193) type set at hopefully equally great value for money. Two buildings and a stage coach would make a nice Western play set.
  16. Thanks for a great game Pandora and Rufus. You're absolutely brilliant hosts. The pictures, the narrative, the immature jokes... I really enjoyed following along. Well played Foog and Tammo! You really fought for it, but the scum's numbers had just been reduced too quickly. There was no escaping the remaining town power roles. And congratulations to 'us' townies of course.
  17. Sorry, but I don't see how this is a discussion topic.
  18. Great work CGH. There are lots of little details to enjoy. It really has an old garage feel (I like that you've done the interior walls in white, for example). The relatively simple solution for the garage door seems to work well too.
  19. Thanks for fixing that so quickly.
  20. Please resize your images to a maximum of 800 x 600 pixels per the site guidelines. Thanks.
  21. Well, it looks like it needs repeating. I agree with you wholeheartedly. I think it is a fun and funny game for the majority of people. I sure enjoy watching it from the afterlife. You're brilliant hosts and I realise it's virtually impossible to do something about the insults. That's the responsibility of the players themselves.
  22. Thanks for the work in the History forum ISC. Now get MOCing! Staff just comes and goes. I don't think it has anything to do with History per se.
  23. Mister Zumbi
  24. Added entry #32. Should you wish to change your votes because of this, please make a new post and clearly indicate you want to change your votes. Also (for new voters), don't forget to include the number of the entry, this makes it easier for us to tally the votes.
  25. And have the designer's initials (at least in some cases).
