Sweeeeet I really like the colour scheme (which is basically The Burrow's but still ). The top and the blades are a bit too fragile (and windy in places ) for my taste, but the stonework on the ground floor looks great. And excellent use of those window shutters. I have to get some of those now.

Great work Rufus! I love all the banners you've done (even though I seem to be poisoning myself in the main banner , but I'm flattered to feature in it ). -
Oh, I'm sure of that.

Happy birthday Zorbas. Now come back! Please?

Didn't have enough work yet? Eurobricks should - and undoubtedly is - very pleased to have a staff member like you. -
You will notice that you will probably get more feedback on a MOC if you deeplink your pictures. I have fixed that for you. In this case it was simply a matter of putting 'img' tags around your URLs. [img=<url to image>]

Where? Anyone care for some sausage rolls? -
Well, I don't think the Town really was that ignorant and they definitely knew you were scum by then. They just didn't know that they were only facing one mafia still. On the final day we were able to easily take advantage of them wanting to vote off a 'Russian'. Not being aware of the merger, made analysing voting patterns so much harder. You may well be underestimating how confusing this was. I don't think the scum would have won so easily had the town known there was only one mafia left. Not that the town, me included, isn't to blame for not coming up with this possibility. With hindsight it is kind of obvious. But at the time, the Russians had only killed once, so it wasn't sure this was the second mafia kill that certainly stopped after the godfather was killed. This failure to see the setup of the game, combined with two failed convictions, really cost the town the game.

I also knew he probably wasn't lying about the strong arm option on his night action (because I had a two shot strong arm option as well, which I only used the final night). But hey, I could do without a town tracker. I don't understand why you'd give away you have a strong arm option, because it makes your role sound scummy. And you need it when you would have claimed your role to the wrong person (because you could break through their protection or block).

Thanks Hinck for the feedback. I really appreciate all the time you put into evaluating a game and making sure everyone has at least one take-away from the game. It was not unwinnable at all. It was just a totally weird mix thrown together in one role: neutral voteless watcher. So, I just played Town with Hinck and Arjay. The neutral alignment didn't really hurt. The Stupid Rouge with the pickaxe did. I love Zepher. Looks like I got pretty lucky on night 1 and it looks like I flew under the radar long enough after that. Well-spotted.

No idea, I just remember you bouncing in a padded isolation cell for a few days, while I was banging my head into a wall. -
Why did you need to know our most embarrassing moment? I'm not even sure I want to know the answer to that, actually

Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum II: sign up thread

I loved the tight schedule on the last one. That has me excited and worried at the same time. I hate those. Yes, please sign me up. I've played seven games by now (info on my About Me page) and have only been duped in under half of them. After playing the first installment, I was ready to be taken to an asylum right away. It hasn't taken away my EB mafia addiction though, although I'm not sure whether that needs curing at all. 'Your mom threw away your best pretty daisy mag.' Ah, the 80s. Let me just rewind my cassette tape. That sounds familiar from last time. -
You've been cheating on me, you megablocking nazi scumbag!? I won't tell you where to find the antidote now.
-
Well, yes, I did kill the majority. I loved playing it. It seemed fine, not knowing I was bullet proof. I don't think I could have survived any longer without being bullet proof (the scum would have killed me after finding me). As you said, having being the sole survivor as a win condition and knowing you're bullet proof (for example twice), would also be fine.
-
I didn't even believe your role because of the powers it had, so I actually spend a long time thinking Sandy was scum or the scum were feeding him lies. Thanks, but I kind of agree on my powers (and let Hinck know as much), but remember I didn't know I was bulletproof. So, in the end it just made sure we kept the body count rising throughout the game. I wouldn't have needed to strike a deal with the scum if I had known I was bulletproof. And I only used the strongarm action the final night on Brickdoctor. Because it said in my role that it was incredibly hard for the town and scum to 'find' me, I actually thought I was a ninja instead . Pandora finally saw through it and Draggy decided to watch me on night 6. I'm so town. The SK has won before with the scum before. Although, if I recall correctly, normally on EB mafia he just had to survive with the winning faction. My win condition included forming an explicit alliance with the scum. But yeah, I caused a few things in this game apparently. As I said, Masked Builder was pure (random) luck. But I saw KartoffelViking target BobTCM (while I poisoned him), which was the only time my tracking/watching ability was actually useful for making my decisions. Remember: I didn't get to chose who to track/watch in addition to the poisoning. This made it pretty hard to really 'find' the scum, because I'd kill them in addition to watching/tracking them. My only hope for really finding them (and being able to contact them afterwards) was picking the same target for a night kill and 'seeing' the scum killer target my target as well. That never happened. I remember someone slipping up like that in The Forest. Actually you both slipped up there, which got you both killed and resurrected again. And killed again.

Great game Hinck. You're a brilliant host and as I've said many times already, your enthusiasm really shows. I'm glad to finally have been part of a legendary Baritones game and even survive it. Thanks , but you're ignoring the fact that I didn't know I was bulletproof (for all I knew, the scum could take me out at night after Draggy found me targeting def on night 6) and that I had no idea I was facing just one scum family until Draggy and I got in touch. My first four (attempted) kills were random draws. It just turned out they were quiet players. First Sirius Black, then jack pot with Masked Builder, followed by BobTCM, and on night 4 I targeted CorneliusM, who had already blown himself up. I then felt I had to start working on getting the scum numbers down as well, because at that point I thought there were two separate families and that one of the main threats was the number of conversions (I even considered that was one of the family's 'weapon', because there was only one consistent kill ). Because I got both track and watch results on my own targets, I saw KartoffelViking target BobTCM the night I poisoned him, and thought he could be a scum blocker or framer. So, I decided to poison him on night 5. Then on day 6, Draggy shared his 'result' on Fangy. I wasn't certain that Draggy was scum (although my best bet was that he was a member of the Baritones because he came out with a 'Baritones' result on Fangy), but I knew if he was scum, they had to be close to winning because of the 'end game' scenario also discussed in the thread. So, I had to make sure the game lasted at least another day and took out someone clearly not allied with Sandy/Fangy/iamded as 'insurance'. I basically had to make a choice between Draggy and def. Because I targeted CorneliusM the night he blew up, I knew he targeted Draggy. I couldn't rule out the possibility that Draggy was bulletproof, so I decided to poison def. After learning Fangy was Town, I planned to contact Draggy immediately after being sure about def's alignment. By that time, Draggy had already contacted me. The rest is the pretty transparent Day 7. Looking back at the game, the town was really unlucky to lose a few important night actions really early on. Sandy, you honestly tried your best, even though I had strong doubts on the results of JimB you reported. I can't believe the scum got away with causing two Full Moon festivals and avoiding the lynch of Draggy twice. I think the town really failed to advance the game by getting closure on Draggy's (or def's for that matter) alignment. That way the issue just kept lingering. Well played, scummies. Draggy for avoiding the lynch twice and getting away with those ridiculous claims. def for managing to avoid further suspicion after being 'outed' by Shadows. Pandora for being such a good player to be chosen for conversion and for getting Sandy of your back. CMP and Foog for looking potentially scummy, but never really becoming a serious lynch candidate for the town. KartoffelViking, I wouldn't have suspected you if I hadn't seen you target BobTCM. And Waterbrick Down and Masked Builder just got unlucky early in the game. Congratulations scum! We should have teamed up earlier.

Baritones 3 Confirmation and Discussion thread
Rick replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Buuuuuzzzzz. I know! I know! It's a bottle of poison. Or a host megablocking with your minds... you never know. -
I will go to bed early tonight and the lack of votes is worrying. It looks like we won't get support for anyone this way and that's the last thing we need. Another Full Moon and I'm afraid we're done for. As mentioned before, we should try to convict a member of the Russian Mafia. If Dmitri is scum, I think he's a member of the Baritones. The only other person with a vote against her so far is Ruxana. I have no clue whether she's town or not. I only know that during the last days she's been much quieter than on earlier days. Could she possibly have been converted by the Russians? Besides Dmitri, it's the only option I see for reaching a conviction today. Vote: Ruxana (Quarryman) Vote: Ruslana (Quarryman)
-
Well, that's not really the point. The choice was between Ruxana or Donil back then. A Russian Mafia member wouldn't be likely to vote for one of their own on day 3. If we really want to try and convict a Russian Mafia member today, I agree, the people not voting for Donil simply have a much higher chance of being a member of the Russian Mafia. All I know is that time is running out today and we cannot afford to not convict someone today.
-
That's the spirit. But I understand, I'm somewhat surprised we're still alive as well. But to me that means the three sides (town, Russian Mafia, and Baritones) to this are approximately equal in size still. Given that two Russians and two Baritones were killed so far, and the fact that we've seem a tommy gun kill (which seems like the Baritones MO) almost every night, it's more likely that the Russian Mafia has been converting successfully. So, it is likely that they are the larger faction by now. So, if it's not too late already, I think we should be attempting to convict a member of the Russian Mafia today.
