Dmitri might be scum (although I'm still not entirely convinced), but as Timur has correctly pointed out, if Dmitri is a member of the Baritones and we convict him, we might be handing victory to the Russian Mafia instead. So, I definitely think it's worthwhile to consider our options and the possible 'end game' scenarios. Ruslana has been awfully quiet the last couple of days and certainly more quiet than when we started this.

Well there have been castle visors for the 'old' helmets that allowed movement.

Considering the way God introduced the day, I have a feeling we have the poisoner to thank we're all still alive. I hope you're not going to claim that as one of your successes? I truly appreciate your efforts, but your sources were pretty wrong about Ruxana. I even considered it most likely that either you were being fed lies by the scum or the Peeping Tom didn't exist and you were scum yourself trying to steer us in the wrong direction with made-up results. Well, if Nika indeed targeted Dmitri with her grenade and failed, the scum might have been reluctant to take him out at night, afraid it would backfire on their killer. And perhaps we were just too divided on the vote the past days for the scum to see a chance to convict him (without being too obvious). This could be especially true if the two scum factions are approximately equal in size without a way to coordinate their plans.
-
I can confirm that. I contacted him because I wasn't at all confident voting for him on day 5 and because I was truly skeptical about his choice of targets. I had also asked him publicly already, but didn't get a reply. I didn't even ask for his plans for the night, but he mentioned the names (I'll leave it up to Dmitri to disclose them or not) of three people he suspected and said that he wanted to check one of them out. And of course I did not try to influence his choice...

Happy birthday Cecilie!

Sorry, my bad. Definitely worth noting then. So, considering you were right about Yan, the only real possibility you can be town now, is if Wilem was framed the night you investigated him.
-
Actually, I think it makes it more likely he is a member of the Baritones himself. He knew the Baritones existed, otherwise he wouldn't have made the claim. It is still possible Wilem was framed though and Dmitri found out this way. And if he's a Baritone himself, he also know we'd find out Vera's alignment today anyway and we'd all have confirmation on the existence of the Baritones.
-
Since when is a ninja protected at night? It normally refers to not being able to be tracked or watched at night. Whereas if Wilem is speaking the truth, there is a real threat Dmitri can't be killed at night (either through a vest or by some other means), I'm still afraid we're mixing things up here. And why exactly are we assuming that again? Also, you still haven't told me why you think Vera was scum (don't tell me it's a 'gut feeling' again).

Good to have this back... ... and you hardly notice it's dated at all. (and wouldn't we all... ? ) Looking forward to moar. (Geez, I've been using a lot of emoticons there .) Edited by Shadows: Here, have a few more.

Agent Sky's parting words provide a clear indication of there being a second mafia family, but that no one is able to confirm their existence by now has me slightly worried as well. As pointed out by various people, it only makes sense for Dmitri to lie if the scum are certain of winning when they manage to get a townie convicted today. I feel there is only one way forward. Vote: Wilem (WhiteFang) You haven't said anything to make me change my mind, Wilem, but that doesn't mean you can't anymore.
-
Well, this would almost directly imply there are no 'Baritones' out there. Besides the possibility being raised by agent Sky, there isn't any real concrete evidence of a second mafia family. There has only been one consistent mafia kill, that I think we all agree on: the tommy gun killer. Also, it can be deduced that on night 2, 'Padme'/Max, who was poisoned and found to be the Russian Mafia's godfather, killed Elena. Does this automatically imply the tommy gun killer is a member of another mafia family? I'm inclined to answer that question positively. But why haven't we seen the weapon used by Max again then? I can't really believe the Russian Mafia lost their killing ability with the death of their godfather. They could have decided to convert on the other nights though. The other MOs have been the grey pistol and the apple grenade. Samuel now suggests Stanislav could produce guns. Could the grey gun have been one of Stanislav's inventions? And Willem seems to know a lot more about the grenade...

Shadows got so excited he finally found someone with the same Santa fetish.

I'm pretty sure the big voice talks in what you call 'game' days. And what exactly makes you think that?
-
We would have known the alignment of the convicted player if we would have been able to reach a conviction... I'm quite sure not knowing the alignment of those who died last night was due to there being a Full Moon Festival (i.e., the result of not reaching a conviction).
-
I agree, this looks like a mafia kill and some sort of divine intervention, even though Catya did speak yesterday. Not much, but still... and it looks like the poisoner is still alive as well. And unless someone has more information, I fear we might have lost two more townies last night. Whereas that doesn't clear you from being a member of the Russian Mafia of course, this certainly gives us something to act on today. I'm also eager to hear if Samuel's sources have learned anything during the night and whether he is any closer to finding out the trustworthiness of his source(s). That isn't good news at all and is much worse than the threat of death for not voting. It seems God gets progressively more angry when we do not reach a conviction. Let's hope this 'curse' is lifted if we manage to reach a conviction today.
-
So it looks like we have to make a choice between Samuel and Dmitri today. Dmitri who has been mentioned as scum by the late Stanislav and Samuel who has led us to convict an important townie yesterday. I think I'm going to make my choice on the same grounds as with Donil. The role of combined watcher/tracker who's supposedly feeding Samuel information still doesn't really make sense to me. And if that watcher/tracker wouldn't really exist, I'm inclined to think Samuel himself has been feeding 'results' to the town. Vote: Samuel (Sandy)

TheBrickster started a discussion topic about this quite a while ago.

I don't really believe we can work from the assumption of a naive investigator. I don't think we've seen one before in these games... of life. But that Dmitri has only obtained town results so far is certainly remarkable, but far from impossible (if 1/4 to 1/5 of this town is scum - ignoring conversions and Godfathers who might be investigated as town - the chance of 4 town readings in a row is between 30% and 40%). As Dmitri indicates himself there could be value in confirming townies. However, with the obvious threat of conversions, the value of 'confirming' townies isn't that high and some of his choices aren't the most obvious indeed. Besides Stanislav and Patrick, we don't exactly know what has been the basis for his earlier investigations, so perhaps Dmitri can shed some light on that. Are you suggesting they are part of the same scum family? Don't you think they'd at least get their stories straight in that case and make sure they are consistent in what they're telling other people?

They don't deliver outside The Netherlands.

Fugazi wrote a great article about set numbering a while ago. There is also some discussion in there.
-
That none of the 'regular' killers struck last night/today is remarkable indeed. As has been suggested, it is possible the mafia(s) was (were) recruiting. But it is also possible that a killer was blocked or had its target protected. A protector would (probably) not see the attacker of their target, but if someone blocked a person last night, there's a good chance they blocked a killer. Only problem with that is that the late Yuri is believed to be our blocker, so if a killer was blocked, they may have been blocked by (rival) scum.
-
Assuming Nika actually had a one-shot (or limited-shot, as we haven't seen apples grenades being used yet) kill action, I suppose she acted based on very concrete suspicions. I wasn't in contact with her, but maybe she told someone about her target. I have no idea what to make of her action failing, but if she targeted someone with special protection, this may mean he/she cannot be night-killed and only be lynched.

This is a LEGO site and if we'd all post about local incidents like this, the Community forum would become a total mess. Hope you understand. Topic closed.

Nicely set up and especially photographed. Reminds me I need another boxer.
