  1. I don't think it's possible Eugene had 'evidence' against anyone and that his suspicions were indeed driven by the accusations against him. Rather, there could have beeb something in Eugene's role he played in this town that made him contact Timur. Honestly, I can fully understand Timur's caution in giving Eugene information on the first day. But from what he apparently told Petr, I conclude that Eugene knew 'something' that he wouldn't share with Timur or anyone else contacting him. I do wonder why he contacted Petr about it though. It could be nothing important now that Eugene is dead or it could be something that if shared publicly would only help the scum...
  2. Most impressive. You really managed to create a weathered look by adding vegetation and having so many studs showing. Excellent part usage as well for the PoP helmets, the SW headgear thingy, and the outward facing plates with technic holes. It may be a little detail, but I really like those little columns and the half-stud offset you use for them.
  3. I agree, however I doubt the MO is going to be conclusive. The tommy gun used to kill Eugene would be a typical mafia weapon, yet many seem to think his death is the work of our vigilante. Eugene clearly knew something that he didn't share with Timur or anyone who contacted him besides Petr. But, if anyone, only Petr can shed some more light on this issue, now that Eugene is no longer with us.
  4. The penalty would be for not reaching a conviction. And after a (majority) conviction was reached, voting was closed.
  5. From an intermediate vote tally of course. If the double-voter voted for person X and the voteless Samuel did not vote yet or voted for person Y, it should be one of the people voting for X. But so far, the voice in the sky has been sparse with tallies, so it may not become all that obvious. But as Stanislav indicated, Samuel does not seem to be aware, so I too assume it's likely some outside influence. Am I the only one still wondering what there is to know? Eugene's message to Petr, which Petr quoted very early this morning, also suggests Eugene had some more information...
  6. From Eugene's message you quote... what is there to know on day 1? It sounds very odd, that Eugene seems to know something that he didn't tell others, besides you apparently, that approached him. Whereas I have nothing specifically against you, I consider it likely you're Town at this stage as I said before placing my vote yesterday, you saying you woke up with a headache (which I agree, likely would mean you're blocked) does not clear you of being a killer of course. If it would, there would be a whole lot of people waking up with a headache tomorrow. I agree, but the other possibility you raise... We will see how his vote behaves in today's tallies I guess.
  7. Brown... frog... Add one more to that... hilarious day ending...
  8. 2 x 3 Wedge brick 2 x 4 Wedge brick Bricklink listing of all wedge bricks. 2 x 3 Wedge plate 2 x 4 Wedge plate 3 x 6 Wedge plate Bricklink listing of all wedge plates.
  9. Happy Birthday Pandy! Have a Fabtastic birthday with lots of rattling. You forgot to post our little 'project' ( ), silly Iz.
  10. This day is drawing to a close soon and most of us seem to agree that trying to reach a conviction is the most sensible thing to do today (or at least the lesser evil). Also, as has been pointed out by many already, we have little, if anything, to go on and sadly face a pretty big chance of convicting an innocent member of this town. Regarding the 'suspects' that have been raised so far: I have the feeling that the fight between Eugene and Nika was merely a silly quarrel that doesn't really tell us much (at this stage at least) about their allegiance. Then there are Petr, Benji, and Barbara. Petr has been acting pretty weirdly, culminating in the claim that he'd even vote for himself if that would give us a conviction today. However, he also has been mentioning a lot of names. And whereas I think it's pretty stupid to 'trust' certain people more than others on day 1, I also think a mobster wouldn't risk mentioning so many names on day 1. Then it's down to Benji and Barbara. Both haven't been really helpful today, but then again: who has been able to help much today? Simply because Benji has so far collected the most votes and in the interest of reaching a conviction today, I will therefore Vote: Benji (Big Cam)
  11. And... updated... can you do that hair-thing again?
  12. No, of course not. It's a necessary, not a sufficient condition. (highlighted the important bits )
  13. Congratulations Rufus, you really deserve this tag. If the Dragon Lord over there didn't put a minimum of 4 games (which I can understand, honestly), you would have gotten it after your great performance in The Forest (which I got to witness from really up close) I'm sure. You really put a lot of energy into these games and I understand they exhaust you. So enjoy your little break from mafia and your new shiny gun.
  14. Falicia first brought this up as a reaction to your earlier statement today: This was before Barbara even spoke up. So, either you have people you are (and even were when you said this) suspicious of or it was the vodka talking. I truly appreciate you making an effort on day 1, but I think it's good to clarify your earlier statement at this point.
  15. Check the reason for that title again... But don't blame it on your phone again.
  16. I can forgive townies when they're wrong. But you shouldn't rule out the possibility that there may be a scum stone thrower who would never be 'wrong', because he would never throw the first stone at one of his scum buds.
  17. I agree, partly. The accused will likely role-claim indeed. But 'trusting' someone on the first day is simply impossible for a regular townie. So, then we'd be left with a potentially valuable role exposed publicly to the scum. As everyone else, I have absolutely no idea what to base my vote on. And even if we would decide to randomly convict, who would cast the first stone? It will very likely only backfire on that person, because - as so many already concluded - that person is likely wrong. You do gain something, because you can observe people's voting patterns, which - much later in this ordeal - can be very valuable information. But I agree with you that it's not very likely that we'll have a majority agreeing on a person to convict today.
  18. I think your sigfig looks much better (and much more feminine ) than Fabuland's 'official' Clive. I seem to have started an 'upgrading' trend here. Simple as it may be, I like you upgrade a lot. You certainly have the most awesome board in Fabuland now. And damn, I should have added flames to my hot rod.
  19. Drunk much? Or can you really talk to the dead? Now that could be useful. Meanwhile, I'll just join the rest of you and wait for the unlikely slip up of a mafia member. The rising vacancy rates will undoubtedly be bad news for housing prices though, so we better get this mess sorted quickly.
  20. Well, the increasing crime rates have made a lot of properties a lot more affordable unfortunately. This isn't the best time to be in the real estate business as you can imagine...
  21. Oh, honey. Hey everyone, I'm Raya, a real estate agent. We have some lovely properties for sale at very affordable prices.
  22. Thanks LuxorV. At least they don't have to despair when their vehicles break down. I thought about adding a blue Fabuland roof, but it would require either a longer midsection - which would make the whole vehicle a bit too long for my taste - or ditching the bar with the lights on the back, but that would also extend the cab one stud to the back, which makes the proportions a little odd. If you'd put it on as-is, Billy can't really focus on the road, because his head would be tilted forward. But I may think of a way to make it fit. The whole tow truck actually started with the idea for the mudguards. I didn't try the rounder mudguards you used on your pickup trucks, because I don't have enough of those pieces. I indeed like how the front section turned out quite a lot. Thanks for your comments again. Thanks Pandora. It's based on Chevy pickups from the latter part of the 1930s. I started off on a 1950s version but redid the front, because I felt a 1930s version would fit better with the official Fabuland cars.
  23. Looks like a lot of Fabuland characters are getting upgrades lately. It's a lovely boat for a great Fabuland character. And while I like the more realistic color scheme, I have to agree with Pandora: some use of primary colors, for example on the hull (blue maybe?), would give it an even bigger Fabuland feel. But great work nonetheless.
  24. After more than 30 years of loyal service, Billy Goat finally decided to replace his old tow truck. Look what the cat goat dragged in.
