  1. Hmm a lot of information to digest this morning... But first of all, I find it peculiar that Helen suggests to be our coordinator when there's someone here who we can probably trust much more: a townie revived by a townie, how could he go wrong? I don't say that we should all tell our roles to Booker right away, but come on, if there is one person we could possibly trust, it's him and not Helen. And while it's possible that Lazlo is a blocker, it could also be a total fabrication. I'm not saying that he's scum, but there's no proof that he ever blocked anyone, or that the 'investigation orb' really exists. Were you told by God that your block was successful?
  2. Well nice work, Mayor! This is a pretty standard letter, I wonder what the secrecy is all about? Though was the sender named Peter or J. David? I assume he must be the doctor who signed Laura Jefferson's autopsy report. Dead now, just like Dr Lloyd. And I thought Dr Lloyd arrived in Alabatha some 7 years ago, so he couldn't have been here in 1935. It's more likely that his father moved to Alabatha before he did, and the letter was sent to Dr Lloyd somewhere else. I wonder if Dr Lloyd father's presence here was somehow related to Project Wolf. Why would he move to Alabatha if he had a successful career going in NYC or wherever he was before? Isn't it a small world? Lloyd meets Geller, he moves to Alabatha after his father does, Geller comes to Alabatha -- not necessarily in that order. Many doctors seem to be involved in this Project Wolf, if that's what they come here for. I wonder what that means. Does anyone know what that conference was about? It's a shame Nurse Parker is gone, she might have known.
  3. I understand, but it was already obvious to many that Edgar was the firefighter, not a role that the scum should have been interested in blocking. Especially since Edgar was expected to be under close scrutiny during the night. Oh well, so much for double-guessing.
  4. My votes, one point each: 14) Tribal Hunter, Mexican & Tribal Chief Entry (Build by George G.) 20) Nurse, Surfer & Space Villain Entry (Build by Darkblane) 27) Robot, Pharaoh & Space Alien Entry (Build by Gnewal Gwevus) Good luck to all!
  5. So many great entries! I have chosen: 16) Snowboarder Entry (Build by Dreamweb) 25) Pilot Entry (Build by mookage) 41) Space Alien Entry (Build by Atin) One point each!
  6. True, I should have said that there can't be two village roleblockers. As I mentioned earlier, I don't see why a scum roleblocker would have chosen to block Edgar last night.
  7. Ahah! Very funny scene and well built too! So here's my entry for the contest, in the Building Interiors category. It's Alan Simmons' farm, but since the house itself is so cramped it doesn't have a very detailed interior. Click on the pictures for more on my Flickr account. The road technique I borrowed from a great MOC I recently saw on Flickr by Legohaulic.
  8. I know that Bristol is about to be lynched, and if he is then I'll cross my fingers and hope that he is scum. But I'm sticking to my vote. I don't believe there are two roleblockers in this village, and one of them must be lying. Isn't it just a bit convenient that Lazlo pretends that he blocked Bristol just shortly after Bristol admitted (or pretended) not to have any night action? The only animal in the village who publicly claims this? So that Lazlo's claim can't be disproved by anyone? The way I see it, either Bristol really doesn't have a night action or didn't use it last night and he can't disprove Lazlo (so there's no point in voting Bristol), OR he has a night action, used it and chooses not to disprove Lazlo -- in which case both are lying. So at the end of the day, I will still be voting for Lazlo, for good or ill.
  9. Seeing that I may not be around until the end of the day, I will vote now according to my own suspicions as explained earlier. Whatever the village decides in the end, I hope that a majority is reached, because in our circumstances not deciding is just as bad as lynching an innocent. Vote: Lazlo Lion / TinyPiesRUs
  10. Well well, it would seem that the village is on to something! When I left for my midday nap nobody had any idea of where to look for clues and who to vote for. Seeing that everything said so far and every vote relies on gut feeling, I'm not very comfortable voting with the rest of the village on this one. My gut tells me that many people look suspicious in this village -- shall I draw a list? I'm suspicious of Helen Hippo, casting the first vote on the first day would be such a daring move worthy of an all-fur scum! I'm suspicious of Kenda Cat, she kept trying to get to Edgar without good motive when most of the village thought otherwise. I'm suspicious of Felix Fox, sweet talker without any substance. I'm suspicious of Wendell Walrus, I used to know him much more pro-active than this. I'm suspicious of Lazlo Lion, his near-absence is either a sign of shady background dealings or utter lack of concern for our situation. I'm suspicious of Benji Bulldog because he's so perfectly indecisive and noncommittal and driving me nuts being such a good villager that he must be hiding something. So yeah, when I'm voting it will be for one of these guys. If need be I may join you in voting out Bristol Bunny for the sake of a successful lynching, but he's not on my list.
  11. In that case, I would like to open the book. Also, I would like to have a word with Mayor Bradford and Councilman Ackerson.
  12. Good idea Benji, let's discuss. While I mostly agree with your list, I find it conspicuous that Wendell Walrus is absent. Is it a simple oversight or are you trying to protect someone who definitely deserves to be named here for not having added anything of value to the discussion during the last two days?
  13. Is there anything peculiar about that book? What's the title?
  14. I don't see why a scum would have blocked Edgar. I mean, the arsonist might just as well have decided to burn one of the Demon Legion instead of Booker. The firefighter indirectly protects the scum too, unless... unless the Demon Legion have already allied themselves with the arsonist, an unlikely event. Or unless the arsonist in not neutral, but part of a different faction that Laura is also part of. This is far-fetched, and I'd rather believe Laura is an innocent villager. (I mean... Lauren)
  15. Well some people, Kenda among them, appear to be thinking that Edgar is actually the Arsonist, perhaps because he knew the existence of such a monster. Not that I personally adhere to this view.
  16. I would like to measure the size of the footprints, then check if anybody present has mud on their shoes and similar footprints.
  17. If we have a vigilante, and he's not the guy burning bears to crisps, then he might have decided to stay home last night. There wasn't that much evidence to base a night kill on, I guess. Then you don't believe Edgar is scum anymore?
  18. Somehow I don't think the Demon Legion would have bothered with Edgar if the Arsonist is neutral. But I can believe that the Demon Legion attempted te recruit instead of killing. Well someone could invent a play about absurdly nicknamed fictional people and help us understand in covert terms what transpired during the night, like the delicious Harriet I once knew in a past life?
  19. Ok but what about the evil party then? I thought their plan was to sacrifice innocent furry villagers to their demonic masters. There was no other kill last night, so either they were busy playing with their... construction toys? or they were somehow blocked. I'm sure some of us have knowledge from last night that could lead to a conviction.
  20. Poor Booker... The waxing was all in vain... There's no doubt that a conviction is required today. Hopefully it will be based on some evidence, I look forward to hearing any results from the magic powers the Baker has bestowed upon the village.
  21. Gun kills, again... Judge Cain fired at twice, just like Liebenston earlier... And Nurse Parker killed, it's as if someone didn't want the identity of the skeleton revealed -- though it's probably unrelated. But if they were both killed by vigilantes, we don't even know if the vigilantes are on the right track. Anyway, let's move back to the hospital before there are more deaths. I would like to enter Dr Lloyds office and have a look around.
  22. No sets have been announced, but TLG appears to be cooking up a new girl-oriented theme, as mentioned in this interview: "Lego's product designers were working hard to come up with female-oriented products, which will hit the shelves shortly." It's still unclear if this will be a minifig-based theme (the rumoured successor to Paradisa), or more like Belville. Either way, this will probably replace the Belville line.
  23. Hmm I had a little private chat and I really don't know who to believe anymore. I think Edgar really could be a valuable asset to this village if he really is who he pretends to be. I'm afraid that it's too big a risk to lynch him right away without trying to investigate him more thoroughly. Unvote: Edgar the Elephant/Whitefang
  24. While I agree that lynching someone today is the way to go, I'm not sure about Edgar. He is unusually verbose today, but maybe it's just the nervousness of having this dark menace lurking in the village. On the other hand, how will we ever be sure of anything? This vote requires a leap of faith in those of us who may have a better nose for scummy behaviour. I just hope that we're not being mislead by the Demon Legion. Vote: Edgar the Elephant/Whitefang
