Patrick, do you know this locket? Was this Laura's? Well I'm afraid we might have found out what happened to poor Laura... but not why? The presence of the preliminary autopsy report here is telling. Someone in the police was likely involved in this mess, not only by dismissing the death as an accident -- which we can brush off as sloppy work -- but now it would seem that the police helped hiding the body as well! We know that Officer Phelps was a commie, so his involvement in this strange death suggests that the whole operation has something to do with what the Soviets are after in Alabatha. What has Laura's death achieved? A couple of ideas spring to mind, we'll have to think this out carefully.

I admit I kept a low profile. I wasn't sure how to play in a context where most players appeared to have night actions, so I tried to make myself sound like just slightly scummy so I wouldn't look like an easy night kill target, without outright lying about having an action. I'm not sure that helped, but it did attract some attention, and it probably was a toss of the coin on which vanilla townie the vigilante would kill on night 4! I still had some delusional hopes about having a hidden action, like paranoid gun owner or bomb, so in a way I hoped that someone would target me to test it out! In retrospect I'm lucky that no one did !

I think that the 'Alien Conquest' blue shade will also show up in non-minifig parts -- albeit timidly -- in some of the upcoming Cars sets. See for instance the 2x2 tile in this picture: link.

In the Earth Defense HQ I see some blue and dark grey parts that look like 45 degree cheese slopes joined to a 1x1 plate. Or if you prefer, 45 degree slope 1x2 with the stud thinned down to a plate height. Do I make any sense? There are quite a few of them when one looks carefully. Is that a new part?

My thoughts go to all the EB kiwis that are going through this ordeal. The scale of destruction seems to be quite important, as is the number of lost lives. I had a chance to visit Christchurch and many parts of the South Island a few years ago, and it was a most memorable trip.

Surely you can tell us more about project Wolf? Is there an access here in the hills to your secret lab? Have you been able to evacuate the lab yet, or are you still in the process? You must certainly know one Jessica, working on project Wolf, is she still here in Alabatha?

The residences are nearest to the hills, but I'm not sure that's what was meant by the note. Can we not head for the hills themselves instead? If it isn't possible, then I don't mind searching the Jenkins residence or wherever. We're wasting time trying to make up our minds.

Yes, I thought Harriet meant that the Bodyguard wanted to get rid of Beatrice before she was killed the first time around. Sorry for the confusion. Still, why God would imply that there are still Werewolves around? And in that case, wouldn't the Werewolf bodyguard revert to his initial function, like the Vampire hunter did when Beatrice returned from the dead?
