I'm just curious... If we know what we're going to do today, why are you not voting?
-
I would like to proceed to the next floor and have a description of the surroundings. With his permission, I would like to visit Mr Falzone's dwelling.

Do we have new colours here? Starting from the left the cars/characters appear to be 1-Sarge: some sort of army green, or is it just Dark Stone Grey? 2-Flo: is this Sand Green or a paler shade of green? 3-Lightning McQueen: (Bright) Red 4-Mater: Reddish Brown 5-Sally: the new intermediate light blue seen in Alien Conquest's human space uniforms 6-Fillmore: same as 2.

This could be TLG's main selling point to parents: "this game will keep kids away from the computer/game console". Not sure if it will prove true but nevertheless I think the concept is terrific and may appeal to AFOLs (as a game rather than a part pack) much more than the current offerings.
-
And I would also like to have a word with Will Ackerson and Mayor Bradford.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 5 discussion

I don't look forward to the day that my MOC will be frowned upon because I could have used a proper snake instead of a rattlesnake. I'm all for new parts, but not parts so very specific that they stifle imagination and almost duplicate existing moulds. I also like consistency and unless there is a technical failure with parts I would rather keep old designs going rather that reinvent them every few years for the sake of novelty. I'm probably just getting old! Besides, I'm pretty sure that there's a limited amount of resources allocated to part design -- either money, manpower or time -- so that every new mould (which likely requires a battery of technical tests and validations) is one of a limited array that can be introduced in a given year. I'm not saying that a new snake would be useless -- but I certainly would have other priorities. -
I would like to ask the other occupants: Has the fourth residence been unoccupied for a long time? Who was living there last? I would like to check for any mail in the unoccupied residence mailbox.

Thanks for the info! This is OT, but I wonder what will be the consequence on the current colour palette of so many new colours being introduced for the Paradisa-like theme. Time will tell. Just a quick comment here. It's a very personal opinion, but I would rather have a wide spectrum of generic accessories than over-specialised accessories that cover little ground. For example, many people have posted lists of every animal that ever set foot on the surface of the Earth, every possible fish and bird, and then demand new moulds for every one of them. I am happy with the new animal moulds that are being introduced in 2011, but do we really need different types of snakes, different birds, different dog breeds? I wouldn't want TLG to focus (ie spend money) on an infinite array of slightly different animals, long bows, weapons, to the detriment of introducing more generic items or accessories that can hardly be reproduced with existing parts. A few more comments on Series 5 as a whole: it would seem that we will get about 17 new moulds, which is on par with Series 3 and slightly less than Series 4, but still quite impressive. There will be about 8 existing parts in new colours, which is much lower than what we have in Series 3 and 4, but similar to Series 1 and 2. And finally, we will get 4 female minifigs in Series 5, which is more than in any of the previous series! Overall, the stats are good. -
Well if there is nothing else to be said, and the pickaxe killer is not going to be identified today, I have chosen to Vote: Adam Sokern (sok117). I don't blame him for trying to shift the focus on Mr Charles Synclair, under this kind of pressure this behavious is perhaps to be expected. However, his unwavering defense of a werewolf yesterday -- against the evidence and against everyone else -- is troubling. Perhaps Mr Sokern was seriously mislead, but I'm more inclined to believe that he was purposely trying to defend Mr Phillips.
-
You are a goldmine of information, it would seem! If there is more to come, I will wait before casting my vote.
-
Well you can mod it out if you don't like it of course, but I thought the play feature was so ridiculous and over the top that is was fitting perfectly with the Ninjago theme as a whole!
-
Very informative play! But was this intentional? Or did you mean Person 1?

What would be the number ID of that colour in LDD, if you please? (my home computer is too old for LDD) I'm surprised that a new colour would be introduced in a collectible minifig instead of a proper theme. Perhaps the rumoured Paradisia-like theme that was postponed to 2012 would have normally introduced this colour in the summer of 2011. -
He isn't blamed for the death today, because it appears that he was blocked. The killer would not know beforehand how the death would be shown, and he probably hoped that it would be ambiguous enough to make everyone believe that Dacius was killed by a werewolf.
-
You know, I just had a thought... Dacius was not killed because he was active yesterday... He was killed because his death would bring suspicion to those who mistrusted him, in particular Adam Sokern. That's what I would have done had I been one of the scum. I'm thinking that Mr Sokern is being framed by one of a third party, a logical move. Which does not mean that he's innocent -- only not part of the same group. He still could be a werewolf or something else.

Thanks for the tip JuniperX! So we have: - Boxer - Eskimo (with rod and fish) - Cleopatra - Sherlock Holmes Style PI - British Guard - Cave Woman (the one with the bone in the hair) - Gladiator - Lumberjack (has cap and axe) - Snowboarder - Woman with pink (purple?) ghettoblaster - Student (graduation gown and mortarboard) - clown with melon hat - godzilla costume - Mobster with gun, hat and case - dwarf - female zookeeper with little ape Interesting selection! -
One of the village to kill Mr Nathans? I hope not! We were at least lucky in that Mr Nathans didn't have the gun, so we still have a chance of reuniting silver bullets and gun -- assuming that there are any werewolves left in the Manor. Then either way, silver bullets will probably also be effective against witches, zombies and whatever else is thrown at us! So, who shall we lynch after breakfast? One of those who defended Mr Phillips? One of those who didn't vote at all? Or one of those who voted belatedly when it didn't make any difference? And more importantly, what shall it be for breakfast? More cock?

I hadn't noticed, very interesting and appropriate! But it's all the more perplexing that they would choose an anonymous character instead of an existing one for the fourth microfig. Perhaps this is a sign of an eventual second wave of Pharaoh's Quest sets, or am I reading too much into this? Alternatively, it's just another display of TLG's strong gender bias. Oh and by the way, Jake Raines doesn't look very good in blue!

This could be a lead, although you may also have been chosen as a target simply because of your active public role in this investigation. But if your instincts are correct, I must point out that councilman Ackerson was cleared of suspicion early on, so that leaves 3 of us. Two if you are to believe me, I'm not a commie. I need to go back in my memory and try to recall if anyone tried to protect the Chief while we were voting. The commies probably work as a team, so his accomplices must have tried to shift the vote to someone else? I think Chef Dieter's residence would be a good place to visit now.
-
Congressman Bob only tried to help us, it's unfair that he should be punished for it. Let's find the remaining commies before the same happens to us. I don't know if we should wait for the new list or pick a new place to investigate right away. There are still a few residences that we should visit: -Alan Simmons’ Farm/Residence -Jenkins’ Residence -Schneider Residence -Bradford Residence -Seaport
