How much time left to this day? Cause I still haven't made up my mind yet. Should I vote Hinckley or proxy my vote to Dragonator? -
I would like to check the date on Dr Lloyd's letter. Miss Parker, I believe you came to Alabatha 5 years ago. Where were you living before that? Where did you study nursing? And did you ever get to meet Laura Jefferson, Patrick Jefferson's previous wife?

Hmm... Did the geographical coordinates of Port-au-Prince, the Great Blue Hole reef, Tortuga and the Sahara have anything to do with anything?? -
Talking Skull - Thank you all those who participated
Fugazi replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
I had a great time trying to decipher the various puzzles! In the end I didn't win any prize because I started late and every prize I discovered was already claimed, but nonetheless it was great fun! I can't imagine the time spent devising the clues and writing answers to so many key words/names! I can't believe how many stupid and unlikely questions I asked the skull and there were so many appropriate answers! It must have taken forever to plan the whole contest. As many mentioned before, this was very educational and I hope that the Talking Skull may come back some day (once his cave is replenished )! Thanks again for a terrific game! -
Perhaps. Though I'm not sure I believe that the flag can only be seen from the roof. The way it was hidden it's likely that the flag couldn't be seen from the street or the sea, but what about once unfurled? Perhaps the way the question was asked and answered was a bit confusing.

So still no news from Washington about Chief Phelps' inquiry. I'm not surprised though, he was only taken away last night. Let's hope that we're on the right track here. There's something strange about that Russian flag up there on the Fire Station. It was clearly meant as a sign, but what kind of sign? Was it meant to be unfurled as a signal for a ship or a submarine to come in and pick up the commies, after they have gathered all the information they need? Unless they have other means of communication that we haven't discovered already. I wonder if Project Wolf is in any way related to the sea. Maybe isolation wasn't the only reason why Alabatha was chosen as an operation base. I wonder if we should go back to the tunnel and try again to pry open that hidden entrance to the bunker. After we visit the Parker house, of course.

I will be away for the week-end, hopefully I won't miss too much of the action. Just don't kill me while I'm gone! -
Quite likely! The latest report mentions that this fig "has not appeared in any of the films, books, cartoons and is unlikely ever to." (Huw quoted verbatim)

Talking Skull - Solutions & share your experiences
Fugazi replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Ha that's terrific! I figured out that I had to add numbers, but not which ones! I kept adding up 1850+1894 and such... Well yes, the Grand Prize answer was about the place where Robert Louis Stevenson was buried. Oh and now that I have been told the final answer, I couldn't help but have a look inside the treasure cave! The prizes for the Seven Seas contest are simply amazingly fabulous!! -

I think the final answer may have got something to do with a Mont Vaea tomb, but there was a mysterious number missing to complete the puzzle. I'm sure Rick could tell us more! -
That's quite unexpected, even though the information had been posted before on Brickset (3815 Heroic Heroes, 3816 Glove World). Brickipedia suggests that the sets could be Duplo, but nothing on Brickset supports this. I thought the Nickelodeon license was dead and buried when TLG went back to Disney. Obviously not so. I'm not a big fan of the SpongeBob sets but I'm looking forward to the part selection in the new sets.

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
Fugazi replied to Oswald the Rabbit's topic in LEGO Pirates
But what about the colour of those cheese slopes on the globe stand? They look pink or medium nougat to me, or is it just a trick of the lighting and they're actually tan or brown? In all the pictures the colours seem strangely off. -
Found something interesting Lego.
Fugazi replied to lightningtiger's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Interesting article Lightningtiger, thank you! I don't believe we can jump to conclusions here. It's true that the Chinese plants aren't mentioned in the article, but they don't say anything about closing them or moving production from China to the Czech Republic either. Besides, the statement "Lego now manufactures its own products in Denmark, the Czech Republic, Hungary and in Mexico" is probably only meant to imply that the other (Chinese) plant(s) do not actually belong to Lego. So I think this is more about TLG expanding its Czech facilities, which is good news anyway I think, rather than ceasing production in China altogether. -

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 3 discussion
Fugazi replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Yes, it would have been considerate for MOCers! But I suppose they went for a neutral colour that would look good with whatever minifig they come up with. Purple stands for Series 5 would have been so awesome though! -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 3 discussion
Fugazi replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Well prices haven't changed in Europe for Series 3 as far as I know so perhaps it's not TLG but only the retailers in the USA (TRU, Borders...) being greedy. Overall the number of new moulds and new recoloured parts has increased since Series 1 too. The only place where TLG appears to be cutting on costs is the absence of extra parts starting with Series 3, and that part is a big disappointment to me. By the way I was also hoping for some new colours for the 3x4 minifig stand, but it doesn't seem likely to happen. I'm running out of ideas for so many black tiles, and I could use different colours! -
I suppose we should take this ugly flag with us, it may be needed as evidence when someone cares to investigate into Brenda's assault. Otherwise, I agree there's not much more we can do here, and I'm ready to follow to wherever seems like a logical next step to all of you. I'm pretty much out of ideas.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 5 discussion
Fugazi replied to eiker86's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I had a better look at the Series 5 minifigs... So far I could make out about 12 brand new moulds (for only 9 minifigs) so this is already more that in all of Series 1 altogether. From what I can tell, Series 4 are so far the most prolific with about 19 new moulds, but Series 5 could be close behind, considering that there are 7 minifigures yet unseen plus many accessories that can't be clearly seen either. Also, Series 1 had two female minifigs, while Series 2-4 have 3 each. I have good hopes that there will be a third in Series 5 as well, although ideally I would wish for at least 4 per series (25%). -
