I would like to ask the Congressman where he was going before he changed his mind and turned around.
-
I'm all for throwing him in a cell, but shouldn't we catch him first? Anyway, maybe he just needed to pee? I say let's move on with the investigation, we still have a lot of ground to cover.
-
Ahem...
-
Hmm... The key to the armory is upstairs, and we just heard footsteps going upstairs. Maybe we can move on now that we've seen every thing there was to see in the basement?
-
Hmm this is actually an old (2005) set, except that the sticker sheet was updated from black to blue background a couple of years ago. Edit: Brickset reference
-
I'm more concerned about the armory. Now, who would have the key to that door? Chief Phelps, perhaps you would know? I would like to make sure that the door to the armory is locked.

Black pudding!

They have been removed. Probably a prank. True, it does happen occasionally, but there are plenty of 4 digit set numbers left. So far only 3 sets planned for 2011 reuse old numbers (Star Wars 7929-7930-7931) and if I'm not mistaken only one did so in 2010 out of 150+ sets (the 620 Large Blue Baseplate). So it's not really a common thing.
-
Hmm dubious, as many of those set numbers have been used before. Besides, isn't it too early for 2012 info to leak out? Do you have a link?
-
Don't worry Mrs, we'll keep an eye on you... and him! I would like to ask Chief Phelps to use his key to unlock the desk drawer and take all the keys within. We might need that in our search of the Town Hall. Starting with the armory next door which appears to be locked.
-
Yes, the red grooved round 2x2 will also be used in the upcoming 3368 City Space set. Also in that set, medium stone grey column pieces.
-
I would say, let's proceed orderly, we could start with the basement and work our way up?
-
Wait a minute people, I know we're all keen on checking out the Town Hall, but there was trouble in the Department store just moments ago, and it could be that the kidnapper has left some clues behind? Don't you think it might be worth investigating that first? Anyway, if everyone goes to the Town Hall I will go too.

Interesting debate. 1) I agree with the others above in that non-licensed Pirate sets in the future will likely revert to yellow heads. Was a fleshie ever used in a non-licensed set? 2) The problem with swapping flesh heads with yellow ones is that nowadays many minifigs have printed flesh-coloured necks/chests that will clash with a yellow head. Your photo of Jack Sparrow is the best example. So most of the time it's not even an option. 3) For me, flesh stays flesh and yellow stays yellow. It's too much of a hassle to go and buy fleshie heads with appropriate facial features plus fleshie hands, and besides I like classic yellow figs better. Of course I don't really have an 'army' to speak of so it's more of a general opinion.

Well Congressman, did you see your attacker? Where did they take you, and how did you escape? Did they tell you anything?
-
My farm? What does that mean? Was this son of a commie planning to shoot me down as well? Congressman! Mayor! What happened to you both?!
-
I'm with you sir! Too bad I didn't bring my trusty hay fork.

Well this changes everything. I had no prior reason to vote for Sean, but if he's a neutral like he pretends to be, then I won't support his presence in this town. Memories of Professor Dows and his wicked mission of taking down innocent town members are still fresh in my mind. Unvote: Frankie Keen / Fugazi Vote: Sean / Sok117

Actually, it's the other way around, the Brickipedia was probably updated using information found here! (in the Pirates forum)

This is a great scene, both technically and artistically! It would be nice if you had a side or top photo to appreciate the true depth of your MOC. Good luck for the contest!

Ok let's just wait a minute here and think about what just happened. I'm not used to so much action in a day, my tomatoes aren't quite this entertaining! So someone locked himself up in this hotel's 3rd floor room, and killed someone? I don't think he just slaughtered a pig, so there must be a body somewhere. The killer could have escaped with the body but the blood isn't fresh and there's none on the window. Either the body is still upstairs, or it's been gone for a long time. And we have a weapon, but in the wrong room. The second floor mystery man could be our killer, but only the hotel owner and this Ted had the key to the third floor room. Ted hasn't arrived yet, so how did the killer get the key? From the hotel owner? Perhaps the hotel owner is the killer, or the victim? In any case, we need to find the body. Returning to the third floor, I would like to check the room for other blood stains and possible hiding places for a body. Including checking every window in case the body could have been dumped outside. And is anyone able to read the fingerprints on that knife? Constable?
-
Quick people! Maybe we can catch this commie bastard! I would like to go back to the street (using the stairs!) and inspect the fallen rock.
-
I would like to join the people on the third floor and enter the room. Is the broken window large enough for someone to have jumped through? Perhaps we should also check if anything was thrown below in the street? I would like to check the room for any other way out: doors, windows, traps in the roof? Also, I would like to check for any object that could have been thrown in the room from outside?
-
I would like to read the receipt for toiletry items -- what has this person bought, where and when?
-
I admire your courage, but you do realise that if Gen turns out to be innocent, people will turn to you next. That's the problem with going out on a limb like this. Maybe if we all agreed NOT to judge people on their past voting behaviour, we would get things moving. But I doubt it could realistically happen!
