  1. I would like to use the ladder to reach Ralph in the basement and help him get back up. While down there, could I have a look at the content of the boxes?
  2. I would like to throw some chairs down in the basement, taking care not to hit Ralph, so that he can climb back up when he feels like it.
  3. I would like to scan the cafe and exterior of the hotel for anything that would help retrieve Ralph -- rope, ladder... Ralph, can you see stairs from where you are?
  4. To Ralph Oh I'd like some marigolds, they were Wilma's favourite flower! Did I tell you that we actually met in this very hotel? Oh but I haven't been inside in a while. I wonder if it's changed at all since the time, let's have a look. Walks inside the hotel.
  5. Walking with Ralph... Ah I'm glad you liked my tomatoes, they're the best on this side of the Mississippi! I'll bring you more when this investigation is over, I don't want Valerie and you to eat those nasty Heinz tins. The farming's been good this year, plenty to go around! Anyway, I hope this investigation is over soon, there's much work still to be done! But we have some catching up to do Ralph, I'm glad that you finally retired, what have you been up to lately?
  6. Maybe, but you're still not lookin' real good!
  7. Well you won't have me walking very far with my belly full, I say let's just go to the hotel and maybe we can have a wee drink while we're there.
  8. Well Chef, this must be the best cooked breakfast I've had in all the years since my poor Wilma died! I should pay a visit more often. Now Dieter -- can I call you Dieter? -- that name doesn't sound like your family is from this county. Were you born... hmm.. overseas perhaps?
  9. I like it very much! The flowers and the soil are nicely built, and the whole vig conveys that old pulp sci-fi look that is so charming! I look forward to other vigs in the same style!
  10. This is pathetic. At this rate we won't have a single conviction by the end of the day and the scum will take us out one by one at night. I doubt that any other information will come up today, and we have Ivan's letter that we obviously don't put that much trust in. But we've been given that info for a reason, and I'm still trying to figure out what it means and how much truth is in there. Anyway, in the meantime I suppose that my only choice is -- Vote Frankie Keen/Fugazi.
  11. 'Escape at Sea' is one of the (Disney's) Cars themed sets to come out next summer.
  12. Four deaths last night and only one scum... Soon this place will become a ghost town! At least we were right about Alice, and does this mean that all of the Ronzoni are dead now? The new senator certainly turned up the heat, but I'm afraid she's right. Inactive townies are dead weight, getting rid of them will help us focus on real suspects. Not that I think that any other townies will be killed by the senator after tonight -- I think she gave us all enough incentive to speak up and vote! Now what to do about that letter from Ivan? At least we know that he was a loyal townie, so he had no agenda and he wouldn't have lied to us. But somehow Ron Adie, Sean and Gen don't specially strike me as scummy. Sean didn't even speak that much yesterday. But then I wouldn't expect scum to survive this long by being careless and letting slip incriminating evidence. I hope than someone has been able to gather information during the night. If we play our cards right, we can vote 3 people off today.
  13. With 2011 sets now hitting the stores, it appears that Trans-Black (Transparent Brown in Lego parlance) is not about to disappear, as it is still abundantly used in the new sets (including City, Star Wars, Creator and Pharaoh's Quest). While the communique in the first post of this topic mentioned colour 111 would be eliminated in 2011 in order to make room in the palette for a new colour, I now believe that colour 311 was meant instead. Colour 311 is Transparent Bright Green introduced with the Atlantis sets last year, and it has obviously been replaced by Transparent Yellow in the 2011 Atlantis wave. As for what new colour would use 311's slot in the palette, I can't figure it out yet. It is probably an unrelated colour, as the point of removing one was only to limit the number of total colours in the palette. Aanchir did mention here some new colours present in LDD that haven't been released yet, including 323 Aqua and 326 Spring Yellowish Green, so these are likely candidates.
  14. Thanks for another mouth-wateringly detailed review Hinckley! The design might be a bit lacking, but the minifigs, the great colour palette and some nice unusual parts makes it up for me. I love all the dark red, dark orange, dark tan and dark blue bits! Hmm do I notice a dark trend here? Oh and the gold ones too! And is this the first time the log brick comes in dark tan?
  15. I know the second commercial is more about the message than the build itself, but I wonder if parents realise the ridiculous amount of bricks ($$$) it would take to build such a huge house!
  16. This happened to me a couple of times (getting a new size but still old avatar picture), usually refreshing the page solved the problem!
  17. I like where Creator is going with this set. This is a perfect middle ground between the City buildings made in big ugly 1x6x5 walls and such, and the previous Creator houses that were almost minifig compatible but not always quite there, and with limited playability. This Creator house brings us back to the 80's town buildings made in real bricks and with few accessories, but with lots of charm. A retro set in many ways -- but with the added bonus of a rear wall! I need one. Thanks for the beautiful review, The Brickster! And yes, the base plates are definitely regular plates, not thin baseplates. I think regular plates fit better in the Creator philosophy anyway.
  18. Welcome! You can always request a Lady tag here in order to avoid any confusion!
  19. As if we needed another good reason to buy the Elf minifig! Thanks for the heads up!
  20. vote: Mrs. Alice Nutter / Alice One more vote and we can move on to other matters.
  21. Wait a minute... If you really were an investigator, why didn't you share information with us before? Better than just saying that you hate us all, really. Makes me just think that you were investigating for the wrong team!
  22. That's great news if true, hope they won't all be in the Greater London area!
  23. Hmm... Lots of blood last night but not any new clues. I wonder why Detective Man had to disappear like this, he could have been a helpful ally here. It turns out that Stash was right about Dick, but wrong about the Chief. He could also be right about Alice though, he seemed to know the Ronzini quite intimately!
  24. Ok I see, thanks for your help anyway Siegfried! I'll just resize it manually then!
  25. Oh sorry, I thought it was! -> see here
