  1. I don't know, I haven't had a decent night sleep in a week... But then I'm sure it will be totally worth it, as usual! I might be around!
  2. +1 for Vaders_son, thank you for a smooth trade!
  3. Yeah well so much for the frog story. It does make sense, but it would appear that Portia may not be Demon after all. I'm afraid that time is running short, and there's a case against Bruno. Are we to trust the blocker, or the bear? In the interest of having a conviction, and given the evidence presented, Unvote: Portia Poodle (Cornelius Murdock) Vote: Bruno Bear (Scouts) And may this be the right decision.
  4. This image is priceless! I will never see Shadows the same way again!
  5. So... <ahem> Can I have the gem?
  6. Portia's explanations (or lack thereof) are not very convincing. I have tried to talk to her privately in an attempt to understand her position but there was nothing more she could add to her statement. At this point I am inclined to trust Cameron's analysis. Vote: Portia Poodle (Cornelius Murdock)
  7. This is a convincing story, and while I would like to hear what Portia has to say before casting a vote, there are a few question that I would like answered. You're saying that Portia appears as Village... do you mean that she was investigated? And although this may be a difficult one to answer, do you have any idea how Cara got wind of the Masons?
  8. Yeah. I suppose that once you're done with the bathroom we can move on to somewhere more exciting -- no offense intended, Ralph!
  9. That's exactly what I meant. Perhaps my choice of words was poor, but by 'forced' to use another action I meant that they felt they had to recruit because of their (hopefully) dwindling numbers. As for the killing interfered with, I would hope that if one of us blocked anyone last night we would hear about it, so we can focus on interrogating the blocked person. Of course, if someone was protected and the Arsonist chose to target them, the protected might never know anything about it. So that's what the elixir is all about. Hopefully their death won't be in vain.
  10. It looks likely. Since the Arsonist has started to skip nights, I gather that he might be forced (or compelled) to alternate with some other action. Unless he's running out of kerosene, or his target was protected, but we don't have any evidence of that.
  11. Well without tearing anything apart, I would like to check the floor of the kitchen and living room for possible trap doors, including under the couch, refrigerator and oven. When I'm finished, I would like to browse through the crossword puzzle magazines for unusual notes or scribblings. I would like to ask Ralph if both he and Valerie were doing crossword puzzles, or only one of them. Finally, I would also like to ask Ralph whether the lawn gnome might have been holding a fishing pole.
  12. I just hate it when they take the body away! I hope that Mindy was scum after all, now we'll never know. Ok so the Arsonist didn't show his sorry big behind* last night... Has anybody got a clue about what happened? (*brought to you by the word filter)
  13. You could consider moving home Ralph... There's a nice clean abandoned General Store behind my farm, with a nice view and direct access to Alabatha's first subway line!
  14. I would like to check Ralph's pockets for any contents, and note the size of his shoes. I would also like, with Ralph's permission, to look trough Valerie's clothes cabinet for anything that might be hidden through the clothes. Ain't we going a little overboard here?
  15. Beautiful conclusion, Hinckley... I think I almost shed a tear! Way to go Prof! Que sera sera...
  16. Happy birthday to both of you! Jipay, merci d'avoir cree Eurobricks. Ou serions-nous sans toi? (sorry, I don't have accents on this keyboard!)
  17. I would like to climb the stairs and have a look around.
  18. True, she was killed during the day, just after a break in our activities (chapter). So we should make sure that we lock up whoever seems like a threat before we move on to another (light)house.
  19. Can't it wait until after the Jenkins home? The lighthouse won't go anywhere.
  20. I suppose that there's no rush to lock up anyone right away, they shouldn't be able to kill or use other actions before the end of the day. On the other hand... can we have a vote about locking Stevie up in the lighthouse?
  21. So this explains pretty much all the killing since the start of this ordeal, except for Valerie. Captain Garrison wasn't even around back then, and Ralph hadn't yet launched himself on this vendetta against her wife's killers. The funny (but sad) thing is, perhaps you're both vigilantes and this is just a witch hunt that will end up badly if we don't stop the killing. Perhaps we should jail both of you until we figure out who is really red in this town, then turn you loose to get them.
  22. I believe we still have the Jenkins residence and mine on the list, am I missing anything? I would start with the Jenkins house considering the investigation results, but I don't mind either way. I'm sorry to hear the news about your wife, Ralph. She died by accident, so we were lucky this time -- although this probably won't help you overcome your grief.
  23. Oops, sorry for that! It just came naturally... He can't protect any longer, if that could be considered as a threat. He's just one more target for the Arsonist now. We've heard about so many one-shot actions so far, the crow might prove to be one of them.
  24. The bodyguard is an innocent Villager that was unknowingly protecting a scum, in one of God's sick-minded twists. I know we have recently read Werewolf, a book about a scum bodyguard protecting his fellow scums, does it make sense to you that we would see the same pattern happen again so soon? No, God is much more devious that that, he would not recycle old ideas without throwing in something unexpected. The bodyguard has provided important information to Booker and others in the hope that that information would spread amongst the innocent. Those who know him have probably realised by now that he can't be scum -- he's been fooled by his action, but never acted with malice. Besides, he saw the truth and voted for Cara himself, before she had enough votes to be lynched.
  25. You are correct. Yet I can't believe that a single person could kill twice in the same night. Booker appeared to have a protection orb back then, perhaps he was using it to protect Becka? Or someone else was protecting her. On the other hand, the possibility of someone holding more that one action has been metioned before, so perhaps the simplest explanation is the right one.
