Heroica RPG - Quest #48: Death's Homecoming
Fugazi replied to Endgame's topic in The Heroica Archive
"I could actually contribute 40 gold, seeing that some of us have very little left. And while it's not our primary mission, perhaps this blacksmith could help us if we get him out of trouble." -

"Good to see you again, Toxiproggs. I would take a Deadly Venom for 45 gold, your mixtures have served us well in battle. I am tempted by the Plague Venom, but it's terribly expensive. Maybe if we all chipped in 20 gold or so we could buy one and save it for extreme circumstances." OoC: Endgame, please note that my Power should be 22 (13+9). Also, there's a lone Mead in my inventory (after the Goblin's Wrench) that would like to join its siblings! "Yes, I would very much like to hear about this Blacksmith. To start with!" -

"I believe this map is the only one we have, courtesy of Punii. Which reminds me that we should pay a visit to the Smith in 'o', if he's still alive. But the Toxiproggs are first on the list after we complete our purchases." "I jotted down a few notes on the map while we were walking." -
Fabulous model! It captures very well the looks and details of the prototype. I like how you used tiles to recreate the engine(s) compartment doors and thus break the monotony of a very long hood! The pilot/steps area and the roofline are great. Looking forward to your Brickshelf gallery to spy on the details of your build.

"25% off on the Trial Brew for me, please. Not sure when I will be using this, but it may come in handy some day. I assume that in order to be effective it can only be drunk before the battle starts, right?" -
On a desktop/laptop computer you might want to use your keyboard arrows instead to navigate the drop-down menu. I know it's only a temporary solution, and I'm not sure what causes your problem in the first place. It could be another instance of IE incompatibility -- though I thought these had been left behind with the board upgrade.

"Hmpf. Next time I will make sure to buy everything I need in Eubric." Galen buys 1x Trial Brew (80-25%=60 gold), 1x Phoenix Essence (65), 4x Grand Potion (48), 3x Smelling Salt (90), 3x Mead (60), 4x Nostrum (160) for a total of 483 gold. He is left with 793-483=310 gold. -

LEGO Classics - Promotional Sets
Fugazi replied to LEGO Historian's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The existence of set 1593 (1983?) does make one wonder whether LEGO simply had too many unsold copies of 6880 (1982) and 6929 (1981). -

I'm not sure I can take part in the fun this time around, but feel free to abuse Lord Fugazi if you are so inclined! 1) Fugazi 2) 3) Bluecoat -
LEGO Classics - Promotional Sets
Fugazi replied to LEGO Historian's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The inventory has probably been derived from the box picture, as this set was only a prototype. More details can be found on Brickset. Another Classic Space promotional in the UK was 1593, made up of 6880 and 6929 parts. Not the nicest design if you ask me, but the boxed set is very hard to find. -

"Oh, make him stop already. He's delirious -- is Eubric responsible for the oppression he was subjected to thousands of years ago? I'm tired, let's just get rid of him and find somewhere nice to have a drink." -
It was a worthy foe, and an exciting battle -- not to mention the torture session before the actual battle!

Galen had heard enough from the vile creature. "We stand in your path because you are evil incarnate. Your only demented purpose is vengeance, indiscriminate vengeance for the way you were treated by people who are no longer alive. It's obvious that more than a few pieces of gold are at stake for us here. We may work for a reward, but we stand to protect innocent lives from your blood-thirst. Now die in the knowledge that you have failed, and that your people will also fail and ultimately be wiped out if they can't reconsider their purpose." Turning his back to Rhodus, Galen starts looking for Elgar's wrench. "Sylph, good to see you up. You have done well leading us to victory despite your wounds. I'm sorry that we didn't retreat in order to heal and restock. I guess that we couldn't bear the shame of turning away from this... cruel Progg. Lycan, it was good knowing that whatever we did we could count on you to pick up the pieces. Thanks for your sacrifice." -

Thank you for a beautiful game TinyPies, I thoroughly enjoyed your set-up, the great storytelling and the excellent photography! I gather that there were also some very interesting roles in the line-up. I was killed early on so I can't wait to hear more about what I missed -- especially the night actions: who, what, why! So congratulations Town for pulling this one off, and the same to Scum for working hard till the very end!

Galen pondered the situation. "It might be more effective if I used a Grand Potion on Johon while he attacked Rhodus." -
He will call it a day?
