  1. Galen shakes his head in disbelief at all the Progg freaks in this cavern. "Your plan sounds good, Sylph." Galen attacks the Progg Nurse with his whip from the front row. OoC: I should be *Encouraged* and *Lucky*!
  2. "We still have some boat parts!" Galen reminded himself that hundreds, perhaps thousands of Proggs were standing between him and a warm meal in Heroica Hall. He downed another Mead and a Nostrum, and prepared to enter the medbay.
  3. Welcome to EB, Yung Toby. Have a look at the Minifig Customisation Index, where you should find links to a number of tutorials on making and applying decals. If you still have questions, post them in the Minifig Customisation Workshop.
  4. Galen eyes the medbay door warily. "Are we sure there's no other way out? I'm not specially keen on fighting a roomful of crazy Proggs -- not that most of them aren't crazy in their natural state, present company excluded!"
  5. An early preview of the upcoming official Progg theme sets?
  6. "We can either tie a pickaxe to an oar and hope to reach the stalactite that way, or I can throw the Goblin Wrench at it -- I'm good at aiming with throwing weapons."
  7. That didn't work at all! I'm still 5 level-ups from Capt.JohnPaul, just like I used to be. Signed: Dumb low-level.
  8. Yeah because we are too dumb to do any thinking, that's what you're implying right?
  9. I for one enjoy very much the way Endgame's enemies are built. A lot of thought has been put into making them surprising and challenging. That's your unique style, keep at it!
  10. I suspect the answer involves rubbing prints off with Brasso. I'm moving this thread to the Minifig Customisation Workshop where I am sure you will find an answer.
  11. Relieved that they wouldn't have to navigate the choppy waters to reach the island or the grotto, Galen turned his attention to the bridge. "I vote we head for the Manor. Something is afoot over there."
  12. Galen looks for any boat tied to the docks. "Riht's Manor... Intriguing house. Perhaps we should have a look?"
  13. I have an alternative hypothesis for the timeframe of early Classic Space. Sets 926 Command Centre (1979) and 6970 Beta-1 Command Base (1980) respectively introduced these two printed pieces: In other sets, the LL markings (such as ) were used to identify ships and duplicate the set number. Here not only the number does not match a Classic Space set, but it's identical in two different sets and relates to different images/ships. LL-2079 could have been intended here as something else, perhaps a mission number? In any case, it's interesting to note that the number is 100 above the year when Classic Space sets were introduced, 1979. Coincidence? Some might think that it was originally intended for the Space theme to depict space exploration 100 years in the future, which would roughly reflect the near-futuristic technology displayed.
  14. Have a great birthday Rick! That's such a lovely scene!
  15. "In that case, maybe we shouldn't go for the flying Proggs first. There's Aquos in the Sapphire Pond, though I'm not sure where that is. The docks maybe?"
  16. "Good, perhaps some of us will want to take you up on this offer before the Quest is over. What shall we do now, do you agree that we should head for the Dini Manor? That's the general direction in which the blacksmith saw flying Proggs carrying boxes."
  17. "Any discount is welcome. How much for 12 Deadly Venoms? And is there anything you can tell us about the Mystrinitri Woods? We may need to cross them soon in order to visit the Dini Manor."
  18. "That's kind of you Elgar. Alas permanently envenoming a weapon would still be too expensive for me, unless the Toxiproggs were to offer a significant discount on a bulk purchase of Venom."
  19. This type of question belongs in the 'Which Set Should I Buy' topic. Merging!
  20. "Oh hi, Toxiproggs. I look forward to hearing from you on both of those topics. Would you consider a discount if we were to buy say 12 of your Crumbling Venoms or more?"
  21. I'm amazed to see that Hospital sign actually made it into AFOL hands. It would seem that said hospital was quite close to production when the decision not to release it was taken, given that printed signs were made for it and photos were taken for a US catalogue. Still remains the question of whether it was intended as a world-wide release or a US exclusive.
  22. "Hmm. I will consider it, though I have never held that much gold in my whole life. Maybe the Commerz Bank will agree to a loan? Would imbuing a weapon with Deadly Venom cost 300 gold plus 12 Deadly Venoms?"
  23. Galen cannot help overhearing the conversation between Johon and the blacksmith. "Ooh, a weapon imbued with that most useful Crumbling Venom would be just what I need!"
  24. "Good. I have a feeling that we will require your services before this is over, Adam. Keep safe. Unless anyone feels like having work done on their weapons, I suggest we drop by the Toxic Burrow -- there may be new intelligence waiting for us."
  25. Thanks for setting up this game Shadows, it was good fun as usual. It should have been much shorter though, I was bored out of my skull waiting for the conclusion.
