"I have no clue whether we should go left or right. My vote is left. Are we confused yet? Perhaps Sylph should use that Mycelium tendril and see a clear path through the woods!" -

"I think someone mentioned at some point that one needs to cross the Mushroom Gardens to enter the Mystrinitri Woods, is that correct?" -
Thank you for all your good words! Being away from home for the last month I spent way less time here merging threads and destroying spam (is that all I'm here for?! ) but now I'm back and catching up on things. I look forward to all the exciting news and events that are bound to pop up in 2013 on Eurobricks!

Heroica RPG - Quest #48: Death's Homecoming

"Welcome to the party, Hal! It's good to have you with us on the last leg of this Progg chase, something tells me that we will need every help we can get. Talking about help..." Galen buys 1 Nostrum, 1 Mead, 1 Smelling Salt, 2 Phoenix Essences for (40+20+30+65+65=) 220 gold. "Spoiled or not, it's not as if we have any other options" he mutters under his breath. -
'Galen' only came up after I had picked Rogue. When I thought of a Rogue, for some reason this sci-fi character came to mind first, though he is indeed a Mage.

Galen. Woodward is the actor's surname!

Galen eyed the newly hatched Progg suspiciously. He hoped that a proper education would make up for a dubious pedigree. "Well Beatrice we must move on, as our work here is not done yet. Take care, hopefully we'll be back soon with more good news." Galen asks if anyone would like to buy poison before they leave. "Then we should probably head for the Town Hall once more." -

"Hi Beatrice. Congratulations are in order! Um... Do you have room for one more?" Galen produces the Peculiar Egg and offers it to the Nurse. -

Galen shrugs. "There's nothing wrong in looking for pay. Would you even do all this were it not for the loot? Glory and honour don't feed the stomach." "Don't forget Beatrice, she's ether at its most sublime!" OoC: I would still like to equip the Rubber Band instead of the Hide of the Wound. -

Galen steps in. "Save your strength for the enemy. There are some who will respect the fallen foe, others who will still feel hatred. But we all work towards a common goal, and the enemy is one and the same. Let's not lose sight of what we're paid to do here." I would like to equip the Rubber Band instead of the Hide of the Wound, until the time when I can use both together. -

Galen looked on as Lycan -- or was it Romulus now? -- threw his knife at Aquos. Would it prevent Sylph from healing him? He didn't really mind either way, as long as they could all move on with their mission. "You asked about loot, Sylph. Any of the items we found will do, but I kindly request that I am allowed to take the Black Egg back to Beatrice." -

"I don't agree Aquos should be granted a dying wish, but I won't stop anyone from attempting to heal him if it can help them make peace with their conscience. I respect the leader's decisions. As long as Aquos is killed for good once it is done, of course." -
Do have a look in this thread, dealing with all sorting matters. Also, there is a quite recent thread about mixing old and new LEGO.

Heroica RPG - Quest #48: Death's Homecoming
Fugazi replied to Endgame's topic in The Heroica Archive
"You're using your disabilities and unhappy childhood as an excuse for everything that has happened to you ever since. Many like you have moved on and found ways to lead positive lives despite the odds. Actually, many of Heroica's heroes have been taunted or tortured in their youth and yet they managed to outgrow their hatred and do some good for a change. I think you were just too powerful to ever consider mending your ways. Boundless power is a double-edged sword." "Sure thing. But I will wait until my leader performs any magic he fancies to on you first." "He never had sight, so he can't really know what he's missing. And if one's unhappy, that doesn't justify trying to make everyone else unhappy. I can't believe you're growing this soft, guys." -

"Pah. You're just wasting ether. What has this creature done to deserve a dying wish? Death is reward enough for him. Aquos has spent 1100 years terrorising his people and possibly anyone he has ever met. And to blame this on his difficult upbringing? Lots of people I know have had difficult childhoods, difficult lives. He's not the only being born blind, ridiculed by peers and cast as a pariah. Just look at Punii here. He's been abandoned, ostracised because of his handicap, yet has he become a mad sadistic monster? Not that I know. Don't tell me that Aquos hasn't had a single chance in all those 1100 years to reconsider his actions, to grow up and steer his life in a different direction. There's no good in him, despite what you think. Get this over with quickly please, we still have living mad Proggs to take care of." "Oh, and that egg. It probably should be destroyed as well, but it's a call that Beatrice should make. I think we should return it to her so that she decides what to do with it." -

"What is this new madness? I can't afford to take that much damage, so whatever I do next will have to be from the back row." Galen cast a baleful look at the maimed creature. "The way I understand it, she never chose you. It's just another proof that you're not even caring for your people, you and your brothers dead and alive only care for revenge. But I'm not wasting any more of my breath talking to you, I'm saving it for the cry of victory when you are dead." -

"Yeah, with the help of the Guardian Angel we should be able to give Aquos a good beating." Galen attacks Hostage Tentacle from the front row. -
