"Um... You're sure you don't want to tag along, Punii? We might need your alchemist skills when we find Rhodus." -

Galen thanks Alexander and Sylph for restoring the party's health. "Good to see you again, Hal, Toxiproggs. You came in the nick of time, I'm not sure any of us could have lasted much longer. What brought you here? How did you figure out that we were in dire straits?" -

"No Elgar, it's my turn. Rhodus will basically waste all of his power on a barely standing target. Plus no chronic damage will handicap any of you for the next rounds. It will give us all a better chance to make it through this." Galen spits in Rhodus' direction. "Hit me with your best shot, cow catcher face." -
Interesting insight into part development Front, thanks for that! This design mentality made LEGO replace all of the classic 'wing' parts which also didn't sit well on top of plates, presumably among many other such part improvements. I certainly look forward to your 2014 creations!

"There are a number of other types of hits I could absorb and still hang on to consciousness. But we certainly don't want Alex to lose this much health so soon. I'm not sure which option would be the most logical, but if it's my turn I'm ready to fall." -
I think it's perfectly achievable -- but of course if we hit a streak of unlucky die rolls, we're all jam on the floor of the Commerz Bank!

"Can't Lycan take all the hits in this round?" -

Galen waited out until he could breathe more or less normally. "This is not a very strong attack, I suggest we 'save' Lycan to absorb a more powerful blow later on -- with all due respect, Lycan. And I just noticed Alexander's impressive defence -- he will probably outlast us all!" -

Galen swallowed and spoke. "It makes sense for the lowest levels to take this particular hit. I'm volunteering. Besides, I do have some shielding." -
Here's a topic I might contribute to eventually! I like the play area you (?) built for your kids, and if anyone else has suggestions for children-friendly LEGO play areas and storage they would also be most welcome here.

Heroica RPG - Quest #48: Death's Homecoming

The talk of torture didn't sit well with Galen. He was happy with killing people when said people were standing in his way, but he didn't condone torture. And of course he was quite opposed to torture being used on him. "Listen Rhodus, if you want us dead just get on with it, I'm a busy man and I'm not going to stand more monologues from a two story-tall bore. Make it quick and painless. I'm leaving everything I have to my sister. Her name is Brianna. If someone can find her, that is. I've been looking for two years, she's disappeared from the face of Olegaia." Galen wished he would have drank every potion he had before he stepped in the bank. Too late for that now. Easily distracted, especially in his semi-frozen state, Galen then turns to the Paladin next to him. The one who has unfinished business with Rhodos. "Oh... Alexander, I remember now. We met each other in Dastan, although in combat and I was quickly knocked out. That was a great fight. Well met again, hero. Even though this may be our last stand, it's good to know that I'm in the company of capable men." -
Okay, thanks! I'm a bit nervous about might happen next in our quest.

Is it 10 HP/5 ether when any enemy is killed, or only when the wearer of the hide kills an enemy? From your description I would assume the former, but I wanted to make sure.

Galen had never felt so helpless before. Through chattering teeth he only managed to produce a few words, directed more to his party than to the towering beast ahead. "Where's Ayla?" -

"This sounds like a plan." Galen eyes Punii. "Don't... um, take any unnecessary risks, okay?" While Punii tries to infiltrate the bank, Galen moves to a window and has a look inside. He tries to spot the basin of water Punii mentioned earlier, as well as any living beings. -

"Be most welcome Alexander! As you may be aware, Isabelle was ill and had to leave without further delay. No wonder she spoke so little during the time she was with us! It's good that you managed to make it here so swiftly, these Proggs are a force to be reckoned with. Anyway we do need to find Ayla before something bad happens to her, if it's not too late already. If Luosh is ever to rise up again, they will need economic leaders like her. And because she is rich, she will certainly be most grateful if we save her life!" -

"Sylph, I'm not sure we're doing the right thing. Aren't we wasting too much effort on those lesser Proggs, before we're done with the greater evil?" -

Galen almost panicked the first time the Roots of Life had reached for him, but he was getting used to the feeling and welcomed the return of the soothing tendrils. "Well done guys, now let's try not to kill those lesser Proggs too quickly as they might get replaced by Artillery or Mage Proggs!" Galen repeats his front row attack on The Bleeding. "Yeah we humans have a saying for that, 'What the eye can't see the heart feels'." -

"Well done Sylph! Now someone finish off that Mage so that we can unleash Punii again! And let's try and inflict as much damage as we can on The Bleeding while he's blinded!" Galen attacks The Bleeding from the front row. -
