Welcome to the General LEGO Discussion Index! Here you will find links to some of the most useful reference topics in the General LEGO Discussion forum. These include threads on collecting sets, part manufacturing, corporate history, photography and more. Please have a look here before creating a new topic as your question may have been answered before or could belong to an existing thread. Please also use this thread to suggest topics that you feel should be included in this index and that we may have missed. Relevant topics in other forums may also be considered. The rule of thumb is that only topics that will remain of interest over time will be indexed – for instance set news items do not generally fall within this category. Questions about buying or selling LEGO, current prices and sales, Bricklink, LEGO Store inventory, and similar topics belong in the Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds forum. Happy browsing! "I am not a skilled fighter, so my usefulness here in the fort is limited. I would rather make my way back to Emperor Rolando, and try to find out where Russel has gone. Using Xander's horse, we can probably manage to deliver the weapons. Especially if we can find a cart or build a makeshift one." I would like to examine the catapult parts, trying to figure out if it is wheeled or not.

Oh, I missed this! Well, belated Happy Birthday ABC! (Admiral Big Cam)

Galen listened to the heroes for a long while, but he was starting to become restless. "Listen up folks. We were all sent to fulfil a mission, and it's far from being over. I think we're losing focus -- we're on the verge of being attacked, and a decision must be made. We can either all fight here, then return to Emperor Emeraldo with the weapons he sorely needs on the main battle front. Or we can split up now and go our separate ways, following our original missions." Galen cast a glance at his leader, Sarick. "Us six have been told to move stealthily, so that we're not spotted by the Lion Knights. However, Russel's disappeareance incriminates him and I have no doubt that he is the infiltrator we were told to look for. It's probably too late to find him, he must have reported our presence to the Lion Knights by now. Will they call off their attack knowing that we're much stronger than they initially expected? I can't say. But in any case, there's no need to hide our presence anymore. How fast the Emperor needs the weapons is also unclear, maybe we just can't afford to wait until the battle here is over."
-
Galen draws his sword as the newcomers run down the stairs. He immediately notices that they are not wearing Dastanian uniforms. Then he is shocked by some faces that seem familiar. He never spent much time in Heroica Hall, but he could swear some of these fighters are Heroes. Of course he was aware of other Heroica missions to Dastan, he had signed up for all of them. But what were the odds? He sheathes the Sword of Bashing and waits for things to sort themselves out.
-
Galen eyes Russel suspiciously. Could he be the insider the Emperor warned them about? "Let's go then. Our work is not done, we still have to deliver those weapons."

General Discussion and Announcements
Fugazi replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Wow, that makes EB sound like quite a boring place. -
I agree we could all have shared more. I think this is the first time I was killed at night as a townie, and one lesson I learned for the future is to pass on information and suspicions because there might not be a next day. But the good thing is, there will always be a next game to try and do better!

I for one think that Bob played very well on day 1. His attitude both in thread and in private pretty much convinced me that he wasn't scum. In my opinion day 1 was successful for town despite -- or rather thanks to -- the non-lynch. We did gain information from the voting patterns, we just didn't use that information fully later in the game. For instance, Cornelius' quickly jumping on the CMP vote tripped an alarm but unfortunately he played so carefully afterwards that he didn't give us anything else to grab on. My vote on CMP was really only that of course, a way to get things going. It could have been anybody, and the exact motive didn't matter much. It was certainly not meant to insult CMP in any way, and he defended himself very well under the circumstances. Of course there was no way for us to know that lynching CMP would prove useful -- even had he claimed that he was vengeful, we wouldn't have wanted him lynched right away assuming that he would have to use his action on the night he was killed.

Galen checks out the catapult parts, trying to figure out if the party would be able to carry them back to the carts. "I agree it's not our role to fight here, but what about the insider the Emperor mentioned? Should we try to mingle with the troops and figure out who the traitor might be? There might be more money in for us if we kill him."

I'm not sure who you told about Pandora, but one of the reasons I didn't support JimB is that in our private conversation you never mentioned being suspicious of Pandora. No one else came out supporting the notion that you ever pointed a finger at Pandora, so JimB was out there alone against Pandora without any evidence or backing. Sad thing is, what I was trying to post at first was along the lines of "I'm sorry Pandora, your claim doesn't match what Shadindola told me about the blocker so I don't trust you, vote: Pandora." I didn't manage to send my post, and thinking about it overnight made me change my mind. Not that it would have changed the outcome of the day, I think. It was a matter of weighing a detailed claim from Pandora with a snippet of information from Shadows that could or could not have been totally accurate.

A heartfelt thank you to all the players, and of course you Hinck, for another brilliant game! It was thoroughly enjoying thanks to an intriguing set-up and hilarious night reports! I'm ashamed at how scum have steam(punk)rolled us, but with such a great line-up why should I be surprised! It's all still sinking in so I will come back and comment some more later on.

"Well, I can try picking the lock if it's any help. If that fails, Sarick could try his freezing trick again. As for fighting, I'm quite curious to see the faces of those Lion Knights, perhaps have a chance to interrogate them. But if there's a chance it might compromise our mission, we shouldn't risk it."
-
Galen waves off Sarick's offer. He was a rogue, but stealing from the people who hired him didn't feel right, and he wasn't willing to stoop so low. Galen smiles at the man. "Then please tell us who can open this gate for us, and you will be able to return to your duties defending the fort. The Emperor won't tolerate undue delays. The outcome of the main battle rests in your hands, officer."
-
"Like my friend said, we have been sent by the Emperor to move your weaponry to the front where it's urgently needed. Now if you could please unlock this gate so that we can finish loading up the supplies, it would be most helpful."
-
Galen guards the door by which the party entered the room, while waiting for the others to finish inspecting the weaponry.
-
Galen loved the idea of a stealthy mission. "Very well your majesty. Are we still far from the fort? Do we know if the Lion Knights have surrounded it?"
-
Don't worry, I'm sure that in due time you will be allowed to return to ZCerberUS!
-
Galen turns to his companions. "I guess I'm as ready as I will ever be, but if any of you would like to pay a last visit to Miguel and his extortionate price tags before we leave there might be enough time."
-
"Right, let's make our way back to the market. I hope we don't meet more drunkards on the way or we won't have anything left for the Emperor!"
-
OOC: Wish I could be there! Unfortunately this was an unrelated trip. "I agree. I don't think that we have a precise description of the supplies we were asked to deliver, and these could be weapons for all we know. Not that it makes a difference, as long as we fullfill our mission. Still, it would be good to know if what we're carrying at least remotely looks like what we were asked to bring back. Russel, is there any way you can help us?"
-
OOC: As I will have poor Internet access during the next 2 days or so, feel free to decide actions for my character if I lag behind.
-
"Thank you James, you have been of great help. Thanks to you we have a better chance to put a stop to the activities of those sick people. If we survive our mission I´ll come back and buy you another ale!" Galen is ready to move on.

Steampunk Mafia: Confirmation & Discussion
Fugazi replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I just had to leave on an unplanned trip so for the next 2 days or so I'm on variable quality Internet access and crappy book reader who won't allow me to bold votes! It's only temporary though. -
I'm sorry for the incorrect vote format. Vote : Jane Phoebe Barnell (JimButcher)
