I realise that no one here is comfortable voting either way, which is why I don't feel that our work is done for the day. I'm sure there's still time to boost our confidence in whatever final decision we reach, even if it that decision is not to lynch. Unvote: Charles Pleasance (CallMePieOrDie) Vote: Bess Bulton (Bob)

Steampunk Mafia: Confirmation & Discussion

Don't let such minor details spoil your fun! -
We are not actually brothers, of course. It's no big mystery though -- it all started with this:
-
I'm sorry Charles, I should have explained myself better. My argument is not that you were trying to draw parallels between our present disguise and our true identities. See, ever since this predicament started I found an image coming back to my mind, that of a green-skinned monster. I suppose that being focused on finding the assassins, their image is constantly coming back to haunt me. A few people did mention the green skin today -- perhaps it's also an image that's been foremost on their minds lately? So what would a scum be thinking of right now? The Royal Family of course. How to find them. Perhaps looking for verbal clues that one is a woman behind their disguise? The Queen is one of a very few 'real' women in our group, she might be easier to spot. So it dawned on me that you might have given some thought to the odds of finding the Queen. Hey I know it's a stretch, but we need to start somewhere and right up to my vote the conversations had been very superficial -- not much to form an opinion on. I agree with your reasoning. However someone else defended Charles even more efficiently: my brother Meahon, by placing a divisive vote right after mine. Oh, for now I am inclined to think that he's a well-intentioned townie who gave us a (better?) option by pointing out suspicious behaviour. But if Charles turns out to be an assassin, I will certainly reconsider my position.

The sausage? I'm not sure, I think it was in my trousers. You can have a bite, brothers share! Though I wish we had applesauce to go with it. Oh, and Vote: Charles Pleasance (CallMePieOrDie). I find his interest in the women among us intriguing. Were you trying to spot our Queen, by any chance?

Hungry like the Wolfe...

Look who's talking! And don't make green faces at me, I might think your true colours are showing up!
-
Do you want to see more of my skin, gorgeous?
-
What a mighty ship! This would certainly be a hit back in my homeland of Quu'so, every captain would want to order one! Though the brown frog over there is disturbing...

You're welcome!

If it's this part you're describing: then it was released in 3 sets.

Fairon Garzi, at your service. I'm your flight attendant or something so sit tight, don't go falling over the railings, a lunch will be served eventually and we'll all have a great flight. Assassins excepted! -
Is Cuusoo too easily taken over by Rabid Fandoms?
Fugazi replied to David Thomsen's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Isn't that a good thing? Even if I see the final Minecraft product more as a collectible for diehard fans rather than an exciting Lego set, the original ideas were static uninspiring vignettes. I'm certainly glad that the Lego designers came up with an idea that made for a more challenging build and a measure of playing value. Again, it's a blessing. How many of the voters could afford the full blown diorama which would certainly retail upwards of GBP/$500? We're voting for awesome MOCs that will be refined by TLG into foolproof builds with a realistic price point. Except for the rabid fans who vote for a brand label stuck on a lump of bricks! -
LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 8 Rumours & Discussion
Fugazi replied to Piranha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
No, unless you know something that we don't. -
Thanks for another interesting peek preview, Aanchir. My interest in Duplo sets has greatly increased during the last year with our eldest daughter now old enough to click bricks together. I look forward to the release of those Read & Build sets which combine two of my daughter's favourite activities. The Creative Cakes set would probably also be a hit with her. I'll then have plenty of big bricks to build up the scenery in my MOCs!

LEGO® CUUSOO 空想 - Turn your model wishes into reality
Fugazi replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I think that the main (and possibly only) factor that could lead TLG to modify their stance on licenced projects is how well the sets sell. Licensed projects increase Lego brand awareness outside the present KFOL/AFOL market. If this brings healthy sales of the licensed sets in markets previously untapped, TLG will keep at it. However if sales of the Minecraft and similar licensed projects are poor because the voters don't put their money where their mouth is, TLG will probably want to adjust their guns. Unfortunately, we will likely never have access to the actual sales figures in order to judge of the merits of the Cuusoo marketing strategy. -
An internet tale Winchester/Shaun of the Dead project on CUUSOO
Fugazi replied to Yatkuu's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I don't see what's so difficult to understand about Lego not wanting to associate themselves with a marginal license with violent content. SW and POTC may contain various degrees of violence or behaviour inappropriate to some, but frankly by most criteria and most people both franchises are considered pretty 'mild'. Can the same be said about SotD? And while I don't play Eve Online and never will, I find the ship design attractive and will consider buying one if it makes it. Good-looking Lego sci-fi ships are few and far between. The same cannot be said of the Minecraft set which holds little interest for the average AFOL who doesn't play Minecraft. -
Which forum does my MOC/topic belong in?
Fugazi replied to Stormbringer's topic in Forum Information and Help
Military MOCs should be posted in the Special Themes forum, although occasionally LDD MOCs are posted directly in the LDD forum. Not sure what is the official word on that? Edit: Sorry, Cornelius was faster! -
LEGO® CUUSOO 空想 - Turn your model wishes into reality
Fugazi replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
That's the devil of licensed projects: by releasing one TLG associates itself not only with the project but also the brand. Yatkuu's excellent build unbranded would likely have been acceptable, but without the license fans it wouldn't have garnered so many votes. Catch-22. -
Really wants to see the Rum - Show me the Rum, Admiral Cam! Or I will ask again! And updated.

Galen thanked Sarick and pocketed the venom. "Knifk, Cronk, those orcish names are so confusing! Agreed then, Cronk and I will follow the left path. May Lady Luck be with us all."
