  1. I'd love to join in if there are characters available once the original players turn up. I've read Red Moon (1) and found the plot quite intriguing, I look forward to the conclusion!
  2. I should add that I didn't intend to point fingers at anyone in the current game specifically, as I had in mind worse examples of unwarranted language from previous games.
  3. Well done Rumble Strike! And scum too! This was an exciting, if difficult mystery game. Now, I must say that we made a connection between the killer's M.O. and Cornelius' back story early on -- Day 1 if I'm not mistaken -- but we didn't think that Cornelius had such a stronger motive than others. And we didn't miss the flirting between Cornelius and Peanuts either. But what I don't quite get is what was the Chief attempting to do with his handcuffs on Cornelius. Was he trying to arrest him for making out with Amber? How old was she anyway?
  4. Just throwing in my 2 cents worth. In few words, I don't agree that Internet tact should be tossed when playing a Mafia game. Old-timers can afford to verbally wrestle with each other quite a bit more, because they know their mates and they know they won't be taken too seriously. But fiercefully attacking or intimidating new players reflects badly on the player, on the game and on EB as a whole. It probably puts off a few newbies from jumping on board as well. I'm not trying to argue that it isn't a valid tactic, but it must be used with care and discernment. I know I have a thick skin, but how will I know the same about people I never have played with? Hey, I don't want those people to avoid me in the future because I've been abusive to them in a game. Winning at any cost sometimes spoils the fun.
  5. Yeah read it, but my question stands. We have very little information about the motives of the killer(s) but we know that they were two, and that they have been surprised by the Chief. Yet your theory doesn't explain what I would have been doing out at night by the fountain, and why I needed an accomplice. If I had been after the Chief, I would have followed him and I would have surprised him, not the other way around.
  6. Days one and two? Never happened, can't remember. Seriously, if you want to accuse me then explain what I was doing by the fountain and who would have been my accomplice (or the killer).
  7. Amber, have you ever considered becoming Deputy Chief when I'm formally promoted to Chief? We would make a great team! I agree with Amber's reasoning, having come to the same conclusions. The evidence is tenuous, but frankly there isn't much else to our investigations. A couple having an affair would not have made the Chief come running with handcuffs... unless he wanted to join in the fun? What else could those two people be doing out at night by the fountain? A drug deal sounds like a good bet. What was the 'pile' of evidence again?
  8. You have to enter something -- anything -- in that box, it should allow you to continue. Edit: Oh I see it still doesn't work for some...
  9. Actually that could have been useful.
  10. Not guessing is no fun! The truth is what we've been after all along!
  11. Sorry, working on it!
  12. Jack, did the Chief or anyone else from the police force ever buy fishes from your store?
  13. Then we may have to postpone our visit of Starbase Marcus until tomorrow. I guess in the meantime I'll be sleeping in a prison cell tonight.
  14. I would like to check the refrigerator for a property tag. It would seem that we're pretty much done here, aren't we?
  15. I'd like to answer Sarah's question. Do you remember, this was a week ago. It would seem that the Chief lied about the microwave being broken -- was it to cover Hutch's theft? Maybe it's nothing important, but let's see where it leads. I would like to recall who found out that the microwave was broken, and who took it away from the police station -- if I witnessed the events of course. Well it's obviously not broken anymore, so either Hutch had it repaired, or something strange is afoot. I would like to check if the "chips" previously found in the microwave are American chips (British crisps) or British chips (American French fries).
  16. +1 to WhiteFang, thank you for another smooth transaction my friend!
  17. Happy belated birthday Corny! (thanks Izzy! ) Looks like you had some fun there! Did I miss your dark red-plated build, or is it still a work in progress?
  18. Have a great one Rick! Rufus and Pandora, your introductory pics are beautiful!
  19. I'm sorry to hear the news Bob. Please take good care and rest assured that I'll be here to pick up the game when you come back.
  20. I would like to browse the magazine. What's the title?
  21. I'd like to search the couch then move it to look underneath.
  22. Well, let's start by climbing the stairs to the first floor. I would like to open the door if there is one and have a look around.
  23. I would like to check Officer Hutch's mailbox.
  24. There are arguments for both residences. I'm keen on visiting Marcus' place, because he's still with us and I've always wondered if he had a life-size Captain Kirk blow-up doll. On the other hand, Hutch is a more likely candidate for a killer, even if he's dead himself. So I would start with Hutch's house.
  25. Once Amber is done, I would like to move on to the other bedroom. I believe we already checked out the library yesterday.
