Well I did manage to get it from my basement to my kitchen... the upper levels of the gatehouse are removable, so it isn't TOO bad to move it. -

You'll have to wait until after its debut at Brickworld. It isn't anything too special, but I don't want a big reveal 'till it gets a showing there first. -

A little Brickworld sneak peek from my iPhone. -
It was built inside as a show piece. The boats for sale are docked down by the river.

I have used a couple of different point and shoot canons and both have been fine. One is 7.1 megapixels and the other is like 12.1 or something. The one with the higher megapixels has a better light sensor, so I use that one the most, but I can tell you good photos can be achieved by either. I think higher quality cameras make it easier to take a good picture, but I think nearly any camera priced near $100USD is probably useable with the right settings/techniques. I think the key is to have good lighting (outside on an overcast day or in the shade works best for me) and to not snap the picture until you are sure the autofocus on a point and shoot camera is focusing on the right thing for your picture! I also turn off the flash and hold the camera as still as possible. No flash means the camera takes longer to suck in enough light to get a good picture but that also means the picture will "smear" if you don't hold the camera still.

How could you say that? Albion is known as the Pearl City of Historica because of its beauty and strength! I think it does that.

It is just too painful on my eyes with that focus to see anything! I can tell there are a lot of details, now if only we could see them! What camera were you using to take these photos?

Linked to the Albion thread!! I like that it opens and I like the work on the interior. Very nice. The coloration on the outside is a bit chaotic though. With the nice little garden outside, it is begging for a rear door as well.

Sounds sweet! Your army could always be marching to Albion or another outpost, you can change the destination without having to make major adjustments to the MOC. I have a pretty big army, but I don't exactly have room for a grand army to be marching into the gatehouse in the MOC, just 30ish soldiers will represent the army as they march in. The whole MOC is about 96-98 studs long by about 78-80 studs wide, so it sounds like yours might be about the same size! In fact, the bridge at Albion is only about 38-40 studs long with the drawbridge! -

The Mesodraconem army under the Command of Marshall Stampick will be marching through the Great Gatehouse and arriving in Albion at BrickWorld2012! -
Negative, though I do have two of those dark pearl gray troll armors you were after.

Vulture from the Keeper's Tomb MOC.

My tag to post time is less than stellar, but I always get the blog up... eventually...

Planning ahead already? I will be wearing a special shirt for ISC and SI on Wednesday, but otherwise, no idea what I will be wearing on the other days.

A 12 x 12 out post would fit I think. My table spreadsheet is at work. The issues with the builds are they are all square and can't be rotated to create more space! We have open space, yet not great blocks of space. 12 x 12 and even 16 x 16 would probably fit just fine. 12 x 24 might fit as well, I will check tomorrow. I think we will already be hanging off the table some, but we will do our best!! EDIT: Looks like Stormborn can't make it to BW anyway... Still... 16 x 16 or 12 x 12 MOCS could still make the table. I don't know where I will be with my build yet (getting closer), so maybe I will have time for a 16 x 16 Nocturnus tower or something just for fun.

Si should be easy to spot. I've been told he always wears a maple leaf somewhere on his body.

To be safe, Mesodraconem is calling up its army and banner-men to Albion to keep watch over the city. We are bringing (the promised count of the army in Nocturnus thread, army does not include those already stationed at the Great Gate House of Albion or RiverRun Watch Tower): 27 Light Calvary 109 Infantrymen 26 Drake Commanders 14 Pikemen 47 Archers (9 of which are Sharp Shooters trained by Lord WhiteFang) 29 Tower Guardsman 20 Lost Stag Clan Allies 13 Wolfpack Renegades Damn... I was close... here were my guesses before the official count off... Sir Burress is questing against the House of Baine, but he sends his second in command, Marshall Stampike, and his elite guard to Albion in his stead. -

I'm hoping the dragon knights in the chess set are of decent quality. Maybe we should move army talk to the Avalonian thread though -

Then Mesodraconem can still bring the pain. I should count them up. Guessing here... my army consists of 1. Light Calvary (20-30) 2. Foot Soldiers (70-100?) 3. "Drake Commanders" (20-25) 4. Pikemen (10-15) 5. Archers (40-50) 6. Tower Guard (20-25) 7. Some hero type figs (5-6) And then the new recruits.... 8. Lost Stag Clan (20-25) 9. Wolfpack (10-15) -

Oh my... and I thought Mesdraconem had amassed a large army... -
Ah hah! fair enough. So you have slums, but perfectly prestine walls? Your Jarl needs to rethink his priorities

Ah man... and I just had the gold armor drycleaned. *sigh* -
Excellent. I like the shapes you accomplished to keep it from looking like a big gray wall of boring-ness. I use a lot of the same techniques you do, so this clearly is something I am drawn to! Two VERY minor critques... 1. How does one reach the top of the tower? I don't see an opening in the floor of the top of the tower or anything... 2. Though I think you've done a great job of keeping the tower from looking like a giant blob, some texturing like a crack or some miscolored area or something might add something to the build.
