  1. Errr... this was three years ago and the original poster hasn't been here for two years...
  2. I doubt that will help in this case as it'll need a driver. No. I doubt that it'll even work on XP.
  3. Cat's don't like being "fixed". I bet she'd scratch my eyes out.
  4. I'll have to make a MOC to prove you wrong; "I love Flatties by Sieggy".
  5. Errr.... yes! I'm not much of a collector, I just use things. Thus it's either a keyring or it becomes a mini-fig.
  6. He's the replacement! Not safely. I've de-keyringed minfigs ones in the past, but I've never tried to remove the head from the hat/hair/helmet/hood. (All "H"! )
  7. Lately you've been self-promoting even more than usual, and looking though your posts most of them are about your site. Please note that as LuxorV said we do not allow people to join EB simply for self promotion, and you're rather close to that.
  8. Maybe we should light the torches and put them in the hands of the statues.
  9. What the.... is there anyone else in this area Mr Willoughby?
  10. It's a board game based on MasterMind. Here's a review.
  11. Slow is Cool Hinck. My kids are on holiday at the moment so my free time is unpredictable...
  12. This is the wrong way to compare graphics. Multiplatform games always have a lead system that often ends up looking better, and often the developer is simply horrid at working on a certain platform. The only way to compare consoles fairly is to look at exclusives. (XBOX 360 will normally look smoother as it has much better hardware anti-aliasing. This is a blessing but it's also a curse as programmers can get away with lower native resolutions, resulting in high resolution but low detail. For example Halo 3. If you think blur is more important than detail and frame rate, the 360 will win every time. Otherwise it's much less clear.)
  13. I just checked. K-Mart, page 8.
  14. Ignore this opinion. Well I can't argue with that!
  15. I like the set, and I paid that for it. It's got better colours and figs than Tantive IV!
  16. Darn. I heard it was that bad but I didn't know it was that bad. No wonder Mistwalker are not rushing out new games...
  17. I agree with this for the most part, with the obvious exceptions being already existing ships like TIE fighters. Even without figs or story, they are Star Wars! It's the cool thing about LEGO. You don't need to buy a particular theme to be able to build for it... and vice versa!
  18. 10 point for posting in this topic! You are right though; there have been only a few named designers for most lines. Personally I think TLG should encourage/allow the designer(s) to label their work, and I'd love to be able to compare sets from the same lead designer. We'd be happy to spotlight every designer if we could! Technic does have some named designers though. Maybe we should make next week Markus Kossman Appreciation Week (I voted Green Grocer. )
  19. Noooo! Don't say that! I love the Creator sets and I like them just the way they are. I also disagree that the main purpose of small pieces is as decoration. For example, when building in Technic, small parts are needed to get the right gear spacing. SNOT work as well needs loads of small pieces.
  20. To remove keyring, grasp firmly and pull! You expected more? OK... First off, I've used this for over a year after TLG sent me a free one as part of my LEGO Club magazine. I got another free one as part of a spend over xxx amount offer so he's surplus! The key ( ) thing that I wanted to share is he's not glued. I thought he was from the start so the first thing I did was try to crack the "seal" as I was concerned that I'd break the head if it was fixed from the inside. But this achieved nothing but damaging the poor fellow as I found that the mouth did lift a bit, just enough to show me that he's moulded different to the regular figs. As you can see in the photo they've added an extra tube inside so they can use the normal pin and that's how they kept the mouth closed. The hole in the head is without glue as well. So all you need to do is pull/twist it out! So there you are. A "new" Rock Monster minifig ready for.... dunno. He needs some love eh? Anyone know what colour paint Dark Grey is?
  21. Cool! Aside from the rear fuel tanks I prefer yours to mine. The yellow lights really make a lot of difference. You need a dog though.
  22. The Battle of Endor has returned to S@H... I'm lucky then as that was the exact one I was considering! Since my wife also approved the Troll Fortress (I missed that as the sales happened during my move ) I decided to not push my luck. How could I not?
  23. Thanks for the tip. I was considering buying a few of those.
  24. I think I'll drop this. My wife reads this forum and I like being married.
  25. My Imperial Flagship arrived! For the curious they are still including the extra dress piece. Among other things, I also got the free key ring. It's good timing too as... ...my old one is looking worse for wear. I'll have to try and clean up the poor little guy. Free key-rings on! Gee I'm glad I got mine for $200, not the list price of $300! It is a shame that they are selling the set out so fast though. It's a good set. A bargain at $200, and a give away at $160. (Overpriced at $300... ) Most for us are made in Eastern Europe. Care to argue about this o respectful one? Such as?
