1) How do you define LEGO purity? For the most part anything made by TLG, but some lines have pushed the boundaries there. 2) Are you a purist? Yes. I'm actually one of the high end wankers who, for example, dislikes using minifig parts in MOCs. (Yes I know TLG have done it themselves once or twice.) 3) How do you feel about "impure" MOCs? I admire them in some ways, but in most cases I don't get them. I just don't see the point. Once you have the attitude of "why have rules on MY work?!" you might as well have the attitude of "why not bring out the welder?". Where does it stop? To me it's like restoring an old warbird. By the end often under half of the original plane is left... so is it really a WWII plane? Have you restored it or rebuilt it? In the case of a warbird there is no choice; it's either a heap of rust or you replace. In the case of LEGO there is a choice, and I choose to stick with LEGO when building LEGO. Anything else seems more like kitbashing to me. Thanks fallentomato for the link; I don't recall that test. I was surprised by my result though; I got 7.39... ...and I would have expected to get more than him! Looking at the overall results, I think my tolerance of Belville, Scala, Bionicle, ZNAP and Modulex hurt my case! Me too, but so far I've resisted. The recent release of the cows made life a bit easier!

Actually it's no real change at all. I do have some minor additional perks (such as being able to give other roots titles) but I won't be doing much more or less. The promotion is more of a convenience thing, and that's why no big deal was made of it. For some time I have been the most "powerful" non-root admin. (I feel like a wanker saying that... ) So did I... I believe I can go back to it and keep the powers though. (I don't need the prestige. ) BTW, I love the new baby! That's still my job. I'm also in charge of trees now.

In reply to your question I have questions! 1. What browser are you using? 2. What are the two URLs? Take note especially that the "www." is consistant. If I (using Opera) go to "http://eurobricks.com/forum/" I'm not logged on, but if I click any link I instantly am. This is because the login cookie is being stored for the exact site so I am only logged on with the "www." shown . But since we've set the board to display all links with the "www." the problem is instantly solved by clicking any link. 3. If the above doesn't resolve your issue, how long has this been going on? What happens if you go to the frontpage via this link?

Perhaps people could use the magical search function? Seriously, pinning rarely is a complete solution as people often ignore pinned topics or think their issue is a separate (or more important) one when it's not. Besides; there are already too many topics pinned in this forum.

I can confirm that the ones in my local Target have black/green stickers going by the box. It's all odd though as this must mean that TLG has made a new batch... Not really. By operating out of Australia it's cheaper for them as they don't need as many Australian staff. We pay the postage afterall... I hope that's a mistake.

No, Target have never been connected with the US company of the same name. Hungry Jack's is a completely different story and way too complicated to explain it here, but the summary is they hold the rights to franchise and own all Hungry Jack's and Burger Kings in Australia... but they aren't part of Burger King. (Look it up; it's a silly story.)

Some recent photos taken while shopping. This is how the Pirate stock was yesterday! (Not a joke.) To get the best deals at Target sometimes extreme measures are needed. This one isn't recent, but it's still funny. I took it at Myer during their last sale. I'm surprised a mistake like this can be made; how hard is it to spell "LEGGO"? Well it makes more sense at least. I bet they got loads of requests! I saw this in Target a few weeks back, but I think you'll be waiting another three months for most the rest.

Yes, at the same sale. The Keeper is so happy with the result that she's considering making another one. I hope these sold well enough and they'll consider selling more, or perhaps even some in adult sizes.
