  1. Indeed it is! 3D Brickthing is a talented one.
  2. Oh. I thought he might stay and post once in a while.
  3. He can spend it on his new kid. BTW; it was a joke.
  4. Noted. I'll keep this in mind for next year.
  5. You joined up to say that! I must admit though, I can't see the sarcasm. But it's his opinion... and for his sake I hope it's all just a joke!
  6. Sorry. You could have nagged me...
  7. That was/is their focus, but they do/did have forums for most themes. FBTB Most users ever online was 54 on Tue Feb 24, 2009 5:53 pm (based on users active over the past 2 minutes) EB Most users ever online was 2368 on Dec 20 2009, 04:36 AM (based on users active over the past 15 minutes) We get at least 6x and up to 40x the traffic; I think we could handle it. The surprising thing for me is that the recent announcement hasn't spiked the traffic; maybe people are believing it and have moved on.
  8. Cool; maybe we should make that our tagline! Eurobricks; the place to go when you can't get on FBTB. You won't want to leave once you visit!
  9. Yeah, I read all that too. But it's odd timing for such a drastic announcement. True. There's not much point running a fan site if it's not giving you at least some pleasures. But if that is the case I still don't understand why. It's why EB has 4 root admins; Jipay gets busy often, so does Bonaparte, so does Hinckley, and so do I. (Like the last few weeks. ) Any one of us could go away and the site would survive. (We'd lose some essential expertise though.) Also, EB is for the most part self-supported so we could even lose all the roots and pick new ones from the staff. So I think that surely there is someone on the site who could take over FBTB and show it the same love? (I don't visit FBTB much anymore, no time, so I have no idea if anyone is suitable.) In any case in a day or two we'll know for sure. I really hope it's a joke.
  10. I hope it is. While some of it's members seem to dislike us (and the rest of the world)... ...we certainly don't feel the same way. The more LEGO sites the better if you ask me!
  11. That has to be a joke...
  12. Looks like something my son would make. I'll move this to Sci-Fi.
  13. I've got one of those. It's a nice enough book, but it focuses more on the story than the sets. I'd prefer this.
  14. Actually I'm reading it all right now. What I meant was it's too late to post. Sorry again... Yes Optimus. .....finished! Daddy?
  15. Sorry for my absence; I've been very busy and I was going to catch up tomorrow. It seems I was too late...
  16. That would be a great idea!
  17. I wonder how the MCP will look... Discuss this, light cycles, and more here! April Fools Day Joke
  18. Steamboy is very cool!
  19. What?! My testicles?
  20. Sure I'm telling the truth. It's exactly as I said. It is horrid timing though. There's more news coming soon too.
  21. I swear on my left testicle that I didn't do any photoshop work on these images. All I did was reduce them.
  22. It's hard to tell from that photo; and that's the only one I've seen.
  23. George Strikes Again! After the wild success of The Original Trilogy: Special Edition, Lucasfilm brings back the CGI magic with it's all new take on everyone's favourite bounty hunter with... Mandalorian Pride: The Special Edition Collection™ This highly desirable collectible series will only be available at very special events to be announced later. Discuss the figs here! April Fools Day Joke
  24. Mandalorian Pride: The Special Edition Collection Sure they are odd, but look at the great colours!
  25. Thanks for the link. I read the whole first page; viaddress sux.
