    The silver lining is that at least this is a good series where army building is possible with a majority of the figs. So if you do end up getting a case at least there aren't as many throw away figs as with other series. The fish guy is a Red Herring. Probably easiest if you just Google it. The falcon torso girl is a professional gamer.

    I'm about half-way through building the Viking set. @soccerkid6 what a fantastic job you've done with designing it! I've got a question for everyone who's bought and built the set. Have you noticed "sprue" marks or injection mold spots on your pieces? I don't know what else to call them. They are clear signs of removal from the production process. I've seen them on parts before, but in this set every single piece has them and they are very obvious. Far more than I've ever seen before. Is that a fluke, or is it a symptom of a new process Lego is using?

    That's exactly the kind of scenario I'm worried about. But, those problems all happened before PAB seemed to turn a corner for the better with all the changes. So I'm hopeful we won't see another Elephant scenario. Thank you, knowing I can get it off Bricklink if needed brings a lot of peace of mind! Did they close it this past Christmas? They've been closing it for the holidays less and less. Who's buying that many Orcas!?!

    The Orca parts are back in stock. What are the odds Lego will remove them anytime soon? I want to wait till Nov to place an order (for the Majesto GWP), but I don't want to run into a scenario where Lego pulls them for some reason and I miss my chance.

    Well that's too bad. So much work for someone. Create an AI bot, post a comment, wait for a response, edit comment, and then get banned from EB for being a bot. And here I thought I'd found someone else who enjoyed X-Wing like I used to.

    I'll let the Technic mod have the final say. But I'm general, your kind of post about 3D printing is fine. You're not promoting a 3rd party brand. You're not selling a product. You're just looking to have a discussion about an element to add to your Lego model.

    I haven't played Legions myself. But I was really into X-Wing before Covid shut my gaming group down. Haven't really gotten back into it since then.

    It's like Christmas! Except you have to wait your turn to open the presents. And if you wait too long someone else might get your present first... wait, it's not Christmas it's a nightmare! In stock, out of stock, pictures, no pictures, it's a mess! But seriously, Lego seems to have opened the flood-gates all of a sudden. I see Hocus Pocus parts. I see Dom's torso. Is that Pippin's LOTR torso I see? And then a whole backlog of updated part number pieces, previously unreleased (like the space torsos) pieces, and straight up new ones like the Blue Coats. What's going on!?!

    At least in France Rivendell is on sale for $465 on Amazon right now. Not as great a deal as double VIP points, but if you have a lot of gift cards now could be a good time to buy.

    Thanks for the info. I didn't realize it had become part of meme culture. Too bad as the book is excellent and has a powerful lesson that can't be summoned up in a meme. Time will tell. But we have someone vouching for his authenticity as a reddit contributor.

    I know we're all excited about possible wish-list minifigures becoming reality. But please be careful to not let this topic devolve into only wishlisting. So you can't bother to read a couple paragraphs but you want me to believe you've actually read an entire book? (a pedantic argument, but forgive me while I try to infuse a little humor with my rebuke) You've received two warnings so far. Please head them.
