But Dr. Blutziegel's investigation brought to us this morning reported them as 'Insane, but independent'. That's where the confusion comes from. Jesus, have you had your meds this afternoon. Why don't you lie down for a while?

Great truck Ralph. I really like the cab design with the protective bars. But I especially like the 4WD chassis with the bigger 'inverted chair' fenders. Excellent work! I've been thinking of using 2 x 2 flags for fenders on 4WD trucks, but this looks so much better.

I wonder if all of this is relevant to the discussion, but the lower right portion of the picture (the area under the arm) shows the same color as the arm. That would suggest it's either all white or all tan. The hair (wig, whatever) points to Jesus however.
-
I'm fine with people discussing and it looks like we're getting somewhere. Only downside is that I have to listen to all the tape recordings... Could be the lighting, but it's all we have to go on unfortunately. Did you see what happened to Martin when it became (more or less) publicly known that he was a daytime investigator?
-
Don't you people ever stop talking, you've been rambling a lot over the past hours. The death of Martin has at least proven he's innocent, which increases my trust in Jesus (although he still could have easily found an excuse for his night time ramblings in Martin's story that 'Shadows' was 'not insane'). Furthermore, Ricardo Samuels has been confirmed Insane by him (if not converted by Sinisters last night, if that at all is possible). But it looks like at least we're getting somewhere. Some interesting pieces of information have popped up in the past couple of hours. A photo showing somebody with dark-blue sleeves (at least that's what it looks like) murdering Martin (I can't make anything else of it). And a night time investigator claiming to have found both Bear and the Chief Sinister on nights 1 and 2, respectively. Although I'm not convinced of especially the second bit of information (the second hand investigation results), it looks like quite a bit can be learned from a conviction of the King. For now, it seems like the best option for today. Vote: The King of Delaware

Are you sure you're insane like the rest of us here. We lost someone with a very important ability and you're fine with it? As I said yesterday, too much of a risk to vote him off just for the harshness of his accusations. I was willing to let him prove himself over the next couple of days. I guess he doesn't need to prove his innocence anymore... So you'd be fine with getting him lynched yesterday, but on the other hand, you'd like to see him protected for the night? Although I do agree, I find it very surprising and worrying to see no one saw the need to protect him in one way or another. People like you and the bearded 'lady' there are the brains we need on our side. You will have news later? And where may that be coming from?

Hey blondie, nobody's saying he's innocent (not even Kevin himself).
-
Suspicious indeed. But also risky to vote off, because we may loose one of our more important roles. Although he provided different reasoning, the thought did cross my mind. He still didn't provide a reason for specifically targeting Dr. Rajim as well. Also note that the Sinister will have to eliminate Dr. Blutziegel at some time. Whether that has anything to do with it...? Although I'm not convinced voting off Kevin 'Shadows' Mitchell is getting us much further - (1) the voting pattern against a neutral or independent, as they like to call it, isn't going to tell us much and (2) it's not going get us any further in finding out whether our Martian friend and Jesus are Sinister (they agree on Shadows neutrality) - it at least won't hurt us Insanes much. Furthermore, there is always the risk Shadows will turn on us along the way (sure he may proxy his vote for days to come, but as soon as the Sinister start gaining and he can win with them...) and that he has a yet unknown objective, or even a deadly night action, that may conflict with that of the majority of us. So, given that we don't have a lead on a true Sinister today (which is worrying), I'll settle for second-best today. Vote: Kevin 'Shadows' Mitchell

Great MOC, ISC. The volcano and the lava stream look great (lots of cheese slopes ). I also like the flaming bits landing on the beach and palm trees. But the construction and posing of all the figs is really well done, they really are the icing on the cake and add so much life to the scene.
-
Well, we know that the Sinister Insanes got out of the ward, so there must be at least one staff member involved. But I hope you're not willing to take those odds with the rest of us. You mentioned on day 1 that you'd come with an informed voting advice on day 2. And the first vote you cast was for Dr. Rajim. Why Rajim, what was that based on? Pretty useful if you ask me... the Sinister have nothing to gain from this information, so I see no reason for not disclosing it publicly.
-
A night action that works only on Insanes isn't very useful for to an Insane, but is potentially very useful for a Sinister Insane. However, Jesus also acknowledges that that's just a theory (and so far his action just hasn't worked on Shadows, apparently). A theory he may better drop, because it makes him look suspicious. Jesus, have you already explained what you were trying to achieve by switching the King and Shadows? And were you actually told the reason for your failure on Shadows? If we decide to believe Jesus and his day-time investigator to be truthful and one of us 'Insanes', the fact that they are not sure about how to interpret the 'not insane' result leads me to believe they haven't found a Sinister Insane as of yet. Indeed, in terms of information, convicting Shadows - provided he's truly 'not insane' and Jesus and his investigator are telling the truth - isn't giving us much to go on, since it would just be a difference in opinion about keeping a 'not insane' person in the ward or not. It doesn't conclusively prove Jesus or his investigator are Sinister Insane.
-
I'm willing to believe your findings for now. I'm just confused about the use of this night action if it can only be used on 'regular' insanes (or townies as you put it). That would conflict with the wording that is used by Dr. Bloodbrick who clearly refers to 'Insane' and 'Sinister Insane'. So, I have a hard time believing that Sinister Insane are referred to as 'Not Insane'. But, as you indicate there could be a third group or individual that is 'Not Insane', i.e. an independent or neutral player. And, you say we have a daytime investigator that sees allegiances in addition to the investigator that passed the night-time photo to Dr. Rajim, who supposedly sees night time wanderings? I reserve judgment until I here from out Martian friend Martin. He must have found out a lot to first suspect all staff, then go after Dr. Rajim, and finally change again to Kevin 'Shadows' Mitchell.
-
I'd find that odd too, but it's one of the reasons he gives for his conclusion about 'Shadows':
-
Oh my, you've been debating. I was considering Jesus was preventing the King going out at night (block) when I saw him injecting the King, but an attempted switch? I'm just curious as to how that ability could help us at night if it's just allowed to be used on insanes (i.e., not on sinisters)? Jesus, you also say you've been contacted by the investigator. Was he/she the same who contacted Dr. Rajim? If so, he places a lot of trust in a lot of people. Kevin 'Shadows' Mitchell you say, huh? Alright Jesus, you've given the reasons for your suspicions. Martin Century, you've been very forthcoming today. Why do you also have reason to suspect him? And why did you go after Dr. Rajim earlier. And why are you so keen on removing all staff from hospital? You must have figured out a lot on one night of wandering... I still haven't quite made up my mind yet, but it looks by today's conviction we will at least be able to learn something more useful than from the conviction of Biggy yesterday.
-
That's your defense? You don't know if you hurt him or not? Oh, and to add to that I agree with the nutty Professor and one of the Space Twins that the fact that Jesus was apparently there doesn't prove he means harm, but it looks like Jesus himself isn't even denying that...
-
Me neither. Dr. Blutziegel could be hinting at it in the words I quoted from his letter. But perhaps I'm over-analyzing it. I consider your option 2 most likely. But we won't have a protector coming forward publicly and perhaps the protector doesn't even know whether the protection was effective, i.e. whether the person he/she protected was indeed targeted by the sinister.
-
Yeah, that's not really an option, unless as Dr. Blutziegel consideres in his letter "Or perhaps they are plotting something else", they were up to other sinister acts last night, such as recruiting people to their side. The small rush of votes for Biggy and the lack of any additional votes indeed already made me fear Biggy would turn out to be innocent. Whether we can go as far as to conclude that those votes were cast will sinister intentions... to either make sure Biggy would or Cookie wouldn't get convicted...? But in the end it may be all we have to go on today, unless someone caught a glimpse of patients and/or staff wandering around at night...

As far as I know, no one has produced instructions for this, but Jamie's Brickshelf pictures (linked above) should get you a long way.

The Chief himself said so. I questioned him about the reason for this trust as well. No answer so far. Sorry, my mistake, he said that about The King. My question about the reason for that trust still stands though...

Excellent review Rufus, with the usual stunning photography. It looks like a much more interesting set than simple box pictures suggest. Don't we look cute? (and in excellent condition, unlike my Fabuland figures)

I'm not saying that they all voted for you or Biggy, but it surprises me that you don't seem suspicious at all about another patient that got a bandwagon of votes seemingly out of nowhere. Sure that may be true, but a staff member could easily clear themselves in your book by speaking up . The same goes for the quiet patients, sure there are probably Sinister hiding among the quiet ones, but it's quite easy to be off the hook by bantering about a bit then, huh? And just how do you know of each others innocence, if I may be so blunt? Agreed, listening back the tape recordings of the past hours, I see a lot of voting and unvoting, but unfortunately no consensus forming and at this point I'm as clueless as you are. Your advice is wanted in the matter of the Sinister Insane. It's not exactly chitchat your Greatness. No, that's just Dr. Blutziegel moving you from one side of the ward to the other. Give it a shot Ted. Add some value. So far the only thing we have to go on - besides endless talking, which essentially got us nowhere - is the PR vote. Maybe the Sinister ignored to whole vote and spread their votes to avoid detection. Maybe the role isn't all that important to them. In that case we're left completely in the dark as the PR vote will tell us nothing either. But truth is, we know very little about what the role is all about, besides being allowed some 'minor' wandering around at night (and having the deciding vote, which certainly would be valuable to the Sinister). Since the PR is our staff liaison, I have a question to all staff: do you actually know what the role is about? And would you care to share this? Or at least share if you consider it likely that the Sinister would aim for having a liaison elected?
-
I guess so. Just wondering why you and nurse Pendleton would bother to give recommendation in the first place. It's not like the Chief is representing you. I was merely pointing out that waiting for the night isn't likely to help much, because an investigator will not be able to credibly communicate his findings anyway. Furthermore, like the Professor, I wonder whether there is anything to be learned from the PR vote. Could the Sinister have been pushing for either Biggy or the Chief as PR?
-
That indeed is all we have. I still wonder why many people voted either Biggy or the Chief without much motivation. Also, although they weren't allowed to vote, Dr. Rajim and Nurse Pendleton have endorsed a vote for the Chief. Problem is that that an investigator is not likely to come forward in public and it's likely that he will not trust anyone enough to share his findings in private either.
