  1. Nice design. Won't get it though, because it's microscale. I'd have a much harder time resisting when it would be minifig scale.
  2. Can't wait to see how that one looks. Can't be long before we're going to see pictures.
  3. What a great building. Both the exterior and the interior look amazing. The real eye-catcher are the stairs of course. Brilliant!
  4. Welkom/Welcome to Eurobricks
  5. It's usually the 'light' items that are included (feathers, visor, katana in series 1) as extras (weight checks for completeness of packages). A lot of the items you list won't be exactly light. Although I'm surprised about the extra trophy piece as well.
  6. You really nicely captured the characters: the choice of heads is excellent.
  7. You seem to be lucky, someone uploaded this LDD file to Brickshelf (a search for 8404 brought it right up, haven't opened it myself). This year's small car (3177) had classic-sized wheels. I too really wished they'd get rid of those big fenders and wheels for regular cars.
  8. Well the set is called 'Public Transportation Center'. I personally don't mind the inclusion of the utility vehicle, but the sports car is so common (resembles 8402 pretty closely, but in a different color) and could have been replaced by something much more original like a taxi or a minibus (excellent suggestion).
  9. Me neither, but you're probably right. Because it won't be 'in click' in the middle, it's an 'illegal' construction that isn't allowed(?) by LDD.
  10. I agree, the way I read the comments from everyone in this thread, I also can't discern any hostility. It's perhaps the 'style' of Eurobricks, but most people try to be constructive and helpful here. So, yeah, welcome aboard and give 'us' a chance.
  11. Even though I don't own more than a handful of Adventurers' sets, it was indeed a very creative theme. And, as you point out, a theme with virtually endless possibilities. Many, many, many 'worlds' left to explore and adventures to be experienced. That's the one thing I wouldn't really like. It was clearly set at the beginning of the 20th century and I don't think it would fit nicely in a contemporary town. At least not on a large scale: one or two old-timer cars could be easily integrated of course.
  12. They'll undoubtedly become available here eventually. I don't really think you can expect him to scan the instruction booklets if they'll be available officially soon.
  13. Right below the 'Announcements' and above the (pinned) topics. I think it's because of the addition of announcements on all(?) forums now.

    Street shots.

Those are some neat and funny little scenes BB that make your city look very lively.
  15. 'Proficiat' Wout
  16. 'Action themes' as such is actually becoming a pretty long-lived theme. I don't think we've been without an action theme over the past years. What I like about it is that it adds a little creativity to LEGO's non-licensed lines. I only ever buy sets from action themes (and racers) if the set as such or the parts are useful and are attractively priced, i.e. on discount.
  17. Thanks for the quick pictures Bachus. It's a nice set and I definitely plan on getting it, it's just that ^$%@ high price. I'm going to wait and see where and at what price this will be offered in the coming month.
  18. I think it's to accentuate an area a little higher up...
  19. What a mess! But very piratey indeed aaar. Nice work.
  20. Thanks for posting this. We should really all think back to this first if we ever think of blaming TLG for coming up with bad model designs. Oh, and the construction is 'illegal' because those click hinges are definitely not 'in click'.
  21. Charming little house with lots of nice details. Excellent and entertaining presentation Rufus, but there is a reason you carry that gold batch.
  22. I really like scenes with multiple levels. You really captured the atmosphere of typical Paris morning. The 'Metropolitain' sign is simply perfect.

    LEGO ANA

If you click on the link you can see a thumbnail of the sticker sheet. It would be prohibitively costly for TLG to print all those little window frames with different prints.
  24. Nice MOC. The logo indeed is cleverly built.

    City 2010

Before we get more speculation, that's the price of the 6753 Creator car transporter (look closely at the tag). The price for 8404 Public Transportation Center was €100 if I recall correctly.
