  1. There never was a number below the second bar code for series 1 and 2. Most people just visually compare the bar codes with a bar code list. There are some smartphone apps that translate them into numbers though.
  2. I already saw the pictures and read much of the description on flickr. I'm amazed at the complexity of the build and that so much is done with 1 * x tan plates. I just couldn't ever get myself to spend this kind of money on a non-minifig scale set. But it's a great display model.
  3. First off, great game Sandy. It appeared to run very smoothly and all the graphics and story-telling were excellent. Amazing how much time you must have spent on organizing it over the past weeks. All the roles and especially the items still have me confused, but from the outside, until the last days when the Hallowed where clearly gaining the upper hand, things seemed pretty well-balanced. I can't imagine Inky wasn't voted off though. I almost couldn't resist commenting on it in the discussion thread . Fangy was becoming suspect half-way through the game, but he managed to avoid heavy suspicion a couple of times. And Shadows was just a little too 'Oh, I know nothing, please use your evidence wisely' in the day threads, which was arousing my suspicion. I didn't expect the Hallowed to be so faculty-dominated though...
  4. Thanks for the excellent early review. So much castle goodness in this one.
  5. Happy second anniversary everyone. The RA is one of the things that sets EB apart from many other LEGO sites. Many thanks for all your efforts and keep up the good work! The group shot is great and I love the apple reference.
  6. Well, it can grow to become popular. And the other site banning members should actually be helping you. Good luck!
  7. Then I'm afraid there isn't really much you can do. However, I know of a very friendly AFOL site that you could become really active on...
  8. They are on LEGO's building instructions site. That's where Brickset also links to. And I agree with Mr. Phes that a proper fortress in this color scheme would be great.
  9. Great work on the bull bar. Are they really this 'high', otherwise the 3-wide bars (available from the strongman's weights from the series 2 collectible figs) might be a good - future - solution. The graffiti and the slide out ramp are cool touches too.
  10. Happy birthday fellow Fellow. Hope you get lots of ABS
  11. The old one is so much better than the one from a few years back, but actually they both need bigger wheels. I really like the yellow color scheme, but the red and white original is nice too.

Look here. EB doesn't allow large uploads, most people deeplink images from flickr or Brickshelf.
  13. Same experience here. It's too low on both copies of the fig I own.

That looks like an impressive ship, based on the IFS' base and color scheme. I'd also like to see more detailed pictures.
  15. Just a little (off-topic) tip: You can reply to multiple messages by toggling the MultiQuote button on the messages you'd like to quote and then hit 'Add Reply' at the bottom of the page. It even works across pages. On-topic: that's quite a sizable city you have there with plenty of room to expand, for example by increasing the size of the blocks in the middle of the layout.
  16. Those are 'full' pin connectors. Superkalle probably means the one with a stud on one end and the stud is connected to the Technic brick. Whereas I do not know the answer, the first question that comes to mind is: Why would you not use a 'full' Technic pin connector there?
  17. Agreed, I really like the stereotypical nature of many of the collectible figs. It leads to instant recognition of what they're supposed to represent.
  18. Looks like it. The dragon knights in the new Castle theme also have them.
  19. You need 10 posts. As of the 'Vassal' rank, you can use the PM system.
  20. I really like that - so far - they've stuffed each box with three complete sets of 16 and certainly hope they will continue that for series 3 and beyond. Loosing the second bar code while maintaining the current spread per box avoids every box being looted for Spartans/Cheerleaders/whatever is popular (perhaps they should change the packaging as well to avoid 'feeling') and still provides a reasonably cost-effective way for (a group of three) AFOLs to get a complete series. Not sure why the second bar code is there, because I always imagined they filled a box from 16 bins/lines that contain one figure each. I can't imagine they produce 16 different figs, throw them all together and then use bar codes to sort them out again. So, to me it makes most sense that they already have your option 2 in place.
  21. I meant within the space you have for the farm now. There's a lot of 'green' left. If you rearrange stuff a bit, I think you'll have space for some fields.
  22. The final version looks great. I like the taller roof decorations and the brick-built sign.
  23. Very entertaining review Fangy. I really like all the pictures of the interactions with EB staff members.
  24. I think you have plenty of space for some fields. Everything is too far apart right now if you ask me. While that may (or may not, I'm not an expert) be realistic, there's too much empty space right now for my taste.
  25. Welkom / Welcome to Eurobricks!
