  1. That was probably because all five crash dummies (if I recall correctly) were right at the front of one of the rows in the boxes, just like the ninjas in another
  2. Hmmm, I thought I had a solution, but the Advanced Search (for posts by yourself) also gives a maximum of 500 posts. You can split it up by limiting your search to certain time periods though. Seems like there is no easier way.
  3. This has been addressed countless times. All info can be found here.
  4. I agree with the Fangster, especially given that there are so many new players. But it's up to you (or the Game Mod) to ultimately decide of course.
  5. That ball was clearly 'in'. It's a little longer (if I recall correctly), but it's basically an updated mold of the old one, like the zombie's shovel which also isn't exactly equal to the regular shovel and the chicken leg which has a longer 'bone'. But I wouldn't call those 'new' either, but alternatives or updates of existing designs/molds.
  6. This one or this one?
  7. They probably developed ideas for at least 4 or 5 series ahead before they started production of series 1 and 2, spreading desirable figs across the series. This series has its fair share of new molds, but like you, I also hope that some of the figs will still improve in the final version and some more new molds will be introduced.
  8. ... and probably the main reason. And also giving counterfeit products less of a chance. But this debate springs up every time pictures are leaked.
  9. So we need a new square torso mold as well. Seriously: you're right, clever thinking, didn't even think of that yet.
  10. I didn't know the search engine supported regular expressions... *off to recap regex*
  11. Great job Teddy. I really like the exterior color scheme, relatively simple, but realistic. All the interior goodness is amazing though. I wish TLG would provide its modulars with some more interior details and walls.
  12. Woohoo! Spartan! Thanks Fangy and Sieggy (and the rest of the EB staff) for organizing this. And as fred67 correctly pointed out most of the fun was finding them all, winning is purely a bonus. It will be hard to avoid the searching by URL, which I didn't even try when I saw the filenames (I though they were completely random). It would have to be on a server that is referenced many times on EB (otherwise you can just search by the server name), which has 'random' filenames (at least not including a fixed path).
  13. It doesn't click in fully that way, which causes the hand to stay under pressure. But having a separate mold for these situations... Most other accessories look much better in the standard hands. Don't these basketball arms do the trick? I don't know as I don't own any myself.
  14. Links to preliminary pictures are ok, deeplinks (so that pics show up on the page) are not allowed.
  15. Indeed: fish rod, little beard, hulu skirt, baseball bat, tennis racket, monkey head, ghetto blaster, Sumo hairpiece, and printed caps. Sounds like the cheaper option indeed. I don't expect them to do a new head mold just for these.
  16. Bottom of page 8
  17. Alright, some feedback. Most of 'em were pretty doable, if not easy. I like that some required some knowledge of the site or LEGO (history). The ones I had most trouble with were those outside my comfort zone. Like the Spartan which was found in an action figure set review (I knew I had to go into the Action Figure forum, but the specific review took a few minutes). The Batman clue was the hardest for me, and since I wasn't around at the time of Witch Hunt that one took some time as well. Sandy karate was fun, but it wasn't the first thing that came to mind either. And the Explorer took some browsing in the Adventurers' review index as well... but overall an excellent contest idea. However, I was expecting them to be even more spread across the individual forums: Pirates and Star Wars didn't hide any minifigs for example.
  18. You really had to hunt for the witch...
  19. Going by your username, I guess you're going to be Percy Nutter.
  20. Deeplinking of pics (so that they show up in the thread) typically isn't allowed, but a link to preliminary pictures has been allowed in the past.
  21. Drake, the name of a natural leader. Drakes in influential positions are known for their suicidal tendencies though. Oh yeah, I'm still awaiting my letter as well, but Rick Russian, your trusty mechanic is at your service. I do cars and bikes in my workshop, but after hours I can also fix your broken washing machines, ladies.
  22. Happy Birthday guys.
  23. I've been Rick and Richard so far... but it makes the character names a lot easier to remember. Anxiously awaiting a PM as well... Night 1 or Day 2 should be fine as well.
  24. Thanks for posting, you provide some details that weren't know yet (I think). But there's a long topic about Series 3 already...
  25. Fabuland mafia sounds great. In case Hinckley is ever hosting a mafia game again, it would definitely be my suggestion to him, especially after seeing all his great Fabuland creations and his story-telling talent in Fabuland Housewives and the Whacker and the Walrus. And I'm looking forward to Fangy's mafia game and Shadows' Pirates mafia as well. The characters in ISM were a little too generic for my taste, hopefully pirates bring some diversity from the outset.
