I saw these on flickr the other day. They look great. Just not a big fan of the 'windscreen bricks', but that's a minor complaint with such great detailing.
You have some catching up to do. Also, the black ninja is from the first series of Collectible Minifigs.
The silver ninja sword is from the Prince of Persia line.
Set numbers don't point in the direction of Duplo. Plus Duplo has a line up with some similar sets for this year already, so I guess they'll be like 'Racers'.
Nice work Hinckley. The 'square' bricks fit the 2 x 2 brick forum icons (on the main index page) better than the round plates. Personally I wasn't a fan of the Technic hole to show that you posted in a topic. As I said before, I really liked how the stacking of plates made intuitive sense. I would have chosen one or two stacked 1 x 1 plates. But as been said, you can't keep everyone happy.
Just a little more nitpicking: The orientation of the Technic brick isn't quite the same as the orientation of the System brick.
Besides looking red, the brick separator doesn't look 'standard'. Could it be specifically designed for this? I'm guessing it is, because for a standard brick separator there would be no 2-wide spot available to lift off the tiles.
I think Sieggy means as a Knight you can invite one more person to a conversation, as a Count two, etc. So, a Knight in total could have conversations with 3 people, a Count with 4 etc. Otherwise, it would not be necessary to mention Knights separately.
I'm already with you on this point, after seeing them in action on forums that I do post in.
Icons like these actually make a lot of intuitive sense:
Nice work.
I hope you also put screws in the top holes (right below the plank), 'cause I see none that came out of the wall in that spot, only at the bottom screw holes.
But yeah, as others have said... happy sorting and rebuilding.
It's LEGO, the worst that can happen is a base plate snapping. Any pieces broken?
I like 'em. Would be even better if they were 1 x 1 plates. The new graphics do mess up the forum legend at the bottom of the page though and I can't see what they look like if I have posted in the thread, because I don't think I ever posted in the Action Figures forum.
I did like that the old icons corresponded to actually existing LEGO colors. Now the 'Read' icons are pastel tints, which do not correspond to any main-stream LEGO color. The old icons had 'dark-' variants of the primary colors as 'Read' icons.
Great modular. I like that it's based on my favorite modular, the Green Grocer. The exterior and interior details are great and many of the photogaphs could go right on the box of next year's modular building.
It has come to my attention that typing 'www.brickshelf.com' in the address bar of one's browser currently not only brings up the oldest LEGO image hosting site, but also allows one to browse images like one was able to do before the temporary disruption of service.
