  1. The Police sets will be released first. If I recall correctly they are scheduled for release in January. But, there is the chance that some markets may get them in stores before Christmas.
  2. Happy Birthday Peppy!
  3. In the exact order in which they appear in your post.
  4. Do you really think Shadows is going to do pictures for this mafia game? Seriously, it will be way too big (in terms of numbers of players) and too fast (24 real hours per day/night cycle) to do pictures.
  5. Definitely Apple Tree House. Creator sets are pretty good value for money and I passed on the big fire truck mainly because it's 8-wide and huge compared to the rest of the City vehicles.
  6. Only for sets purchased from LEGO Stores or LEGO Shop at Home (online).
  7. No If your current points balance covers the price of the products you buy exactly. In that case you get no new points and you're stuck with no old points either.
  8. Hilarious is the word that comes to mind first.
  9. Great idea to let people come up with their own characters. Make it all the more messed up than it will probably already be. I'm quite positive there will be a little more bloodshed in this one...
  10. Happy Birthday Hinckledinkle and (Oh) Mandy. Have a good one.
  11. Yes, uncle Shadows Alright, no problem in that case I guess (character created with Mini-Mizer) My name is Ricky Brickardo and I've been the chief of the town's arsonists fire brigade ever since I was mortally injured on a dystopian island far far away from this place. Word is that there are some very 'lively' characters causing havoc in our otherwise deadly town. Now, I believe we were slightly mislead by the band's agent, Count von Shadows. We certainly expected something more serene than the eardrum-shattering sounds they tend to produce. Now that they know of the existence of this town, I'm afraid we can't let them leave again. So, people of this town, bring out your pitchforks and gather some dry wood, I'm sure we'll need some crispy hot fires in the coming days.
  12. Ehm, sure, sounds like fun mayhem. One question: when do I sleep? In other words: it needs to fit into my daily routine and time zone differences may cause some problems. For example, if the time for sending in night actions coincides with my real night, it will be slightly problematic.
  13. Welcome to Eurobricks MrDummy. No idea what could have gone wrong with your registration (did you check your spam mail?), but there is a Contact form on the LowLUG website that you could use to get in touch with the moderators.
  14. Bye bye Shipyard Master, hello Pirate Regulator! As others have said, well-deserved for all the energy you put into the forum. Too bad to see you loose your nice green color already.
  15. 1 point to Rad Bike by Darkblane 2 points to Hot Rod by The Lanterne Rouge
  16. 1 point to Archer by The Lanterne Rouge 1 point to Benton Destruction by Milargo 1 point to Soot Stiletto by Zip
  17. 2 points to Blaster by The Lanterne Rouge 1 point to Magma by Darkblane
  18. You don't need many actual night actions for this...
  19. It's one of the most important reasons why TLG doesn't like leaked images months ahead of actual release. It may hurt demand for their current line of sets.
  20. I tried to be subtle and only make it blink once every 10 seconds or so...
  21. There were pictures circulating from a leaked retailer's catalog for the first few months of 2011, but there weren't any new Kingdoms sets in it.
  22. Couldn't agree more. It's not like you have nothing to do when you're a plain vanilla townie. Having lots of night actions takes the real game away from the day threads and into PMs and night action results. Accusations, defenses, bluffing, people vouching for others, voting patterns, and voting results are as important, if not more important than night actions. In that sense there is certainly something to be said for the traditional mafia game with a small amount of players and not too many night actions... ... and should that get boring over time, you make some excellent suggestions for spicing it up a bit.
  23. I understand you're not trying to replicate - for example - Brickset on EB. I just can imagine a user would like to search for all 2009 Town sets that have been reviewed. You're probably recording this as fields in the database anyway (year, theme, reviewed yes/no), so it may be a good idea to make it searchable that way. Are you planning to always make the 'theme' correspond to an EB subforum? The critical choice I think is how fine you make the theme definition, because depending on the 'following', themes tend to move in and out of EB forums or get their own dedicated forum (Trains, for example). I'd certainly add a tick box for reviewed yes/no because that's what a lot of users will be using it for and what really sets this apart from Brickset, Bricklink, etc.
  24. Great work Sieggy, the database-driven index probably makes the staff's work a lot easier and is of course very user-friendly compared to the topic-based approach. (and great effort on almost exactly mimicking the forum style) Are you planning to expand search options beyond a free text search? Like set number, set name, year, piece count, theme (more specific than just forums).
  25. And it's nothing to get excited about either way, cause it's a Duplo fig, a 2 x 3 Duplo brick (if I recall correctly and yes, those are new), and a bunny.
