That looks good! Thanks for the picture.
  2. Not much to add. The older ones are best dead, the new ones are best undead.
  3. This is insane. In a good way
  4. Now that he's all tied up, we can start by poking him with our carefully polished riffles. If that doesn't work we're forced to tickle his intentions out of him.
  5. Agreed, the wedges should go. They look like they're touching the ground anyway. Other than that, nice little hauler!
  6. Those mounted dino's look great. However, the elephant is my favorite so far.
  7. Agreed! The number 1 quality toy shouldn't become less durable. Hmm, if you push this argument, eventually Lego takes over the world (or we run out of oil; a more likely scenario).
  8. These look truly great. I always like it when customs look like they could be produced by TLG themselves. The waist is great, although I wouldn't want TLG to switch to seperate male and female torsos, as this would reduce their versatility.
  9. The track - as far as I know - is made for the RC trains, which means they're all ABS (plastic). They will however also be suitable for the new PF (Power Functions) trains coming out this summer. This new train line will also feature a new station though.
  10. Nice MOC. I think the official model will look kind of cute next to its bigger predecessors.
  11. Great, I especially like the attention spent on the interior and the ceiling.
  12. Case 1. Case closed
  13. We've been discussing (riffle polishing) tactics in out tents for way too long now... time to go to battle and after that back home - alive!
  14. Wilkommen / Welcome to Eurobricks. Don't worry, many people here have the same virus
  15. Check two posts above where Bonaparte gives an answer. Not all DNS servers are updated yet. This takes time.

That isn't very plausible. The fact that a couple of AFOLs here don't like the truck stop isn't likely to affect their decisions. Moreover, the lead times for designing, producing, and distributing such a set are simply to long. Maybe the release of 8403 and 8404 are simply delayed until August (which should also see the release of the train sets) and TLG has only shown sets until June (or so) at the NY Toy Fair.
  17. Nice addition. Makes it apparent what official Lego sets are lacking. Even a base plate included with some of the mid- to large-size sets with a little foliage could help. The bigger 1980s and 1990s Town sets and even the 1990s Western sets used to have base plates and the odd plant or tree...
  18. Well said. Since the last time I've visited this thread, quite some horrible examples have been added. Is the quality issue actively communicated to TLG via the Ambassadors? I'm sure it is, but I just want to make sure...
  19. The change in IP address has to propagate through the DNS system. Basically, a record on your ISP's DNS server has to get updated to say that whenever you type 'www.eurobricks.com' it no longer has to redirect you to the old IP address, but to the new one. I've had these issues as well for a while (it kept going back and forth even).
  20. Again, something desperately missing from Lego's town/city line. Excellent work on the interior K-D. The only thing I'd change is making doors from the hallway to the class rooms (like is done in the Town Plan cinema for example).

The last day of the New York Toy Fair should be well underway now. Still no sign of the TRU City Exclusive (8404)?
  22. I found a bug with my ISPs DNS servers... I've been wondering what the problem on my end was because after you posted the announcement of a successful migration I've seen the 'temporary offline' screen twice already and I saw no one else making notice of it. I'm now on openDNS' nameservers until the changes have propagated fully with my ISP's DNS servers.
  23. Take your time. Have fun skiing.
  24. I like (good) alternates, and this is a very inventive one! Nice work.
  25. My thought exactly. This could be the female's torso, whereas the new green sweater included in the advent calendar could be used for the a male inhabitant.
