  1. Just contact LEGO customer service and they usually send you a replacement part free of charge.
  2. Simply copy it into your post. BBcode refers to the mark up code you see when you switch the editing mode with the top-left button in the toolbar of the reply box.
  3. Two curved tracks are the exact same length as two straight tracks. This might explain some of the other design choices as well.
  4. TLG officially announced the latest Modular Building 10232 Palace Cinema. It will be available in March at a price of US$149.99 / CA$199.99 / €139.99 / £119.99 / 1,099.00 DKK. Check out the press release, high-resolution set images and the designer video in the Town forum. Thanks to GRogall for posting the press release.
  5. That's a very original and well-executed MOC. I have replaced the image in the first post with a 800 x 600 pixel version (the maximum size allowed for embedded images on EB). Also, I think this MOC fits better in the Special Themes forum, so I've moved it.
  6. Great review Rufus. This really makes it's predecessor look rather simplistic. Although 3180 perhaps looks more realistic (with the tractor-trailer configuration and without the hazardous exhausts), this definitely looks more 'finished'. It appears to be available in the UK.
  7. You said you basically trusted Hinck (someone you didn't trust all day) and Scouty's judgment. Yet, when Hinck changes his opinion, you're not changing your vote, because... ? You didn't need reasons to vote, but you do need reasons to unvote? Oh, you've found your reason to vote for her now? But you were confident enough to vote for her before she even gave you that reason?
  8. All they'd have to do is read. I think they can do that. I don't know what either can do or even claims to be able to do at night. Pandora, without even knowing Hinck's role, seems adamant that she'd be a major loss to the town. Hinck merely suggests he has a useful role. Or am I giving the scum useful information now that they may have missed?
  9. What part of the "case" against her convinced you to change your vote from Hinck to Pandora? As I said, I don't think there's too much of a case against her. Hinck seems to have come around to that idea now too. You were the one who openly disproved your own claim, so please blame yourself for this one. It was all out in the open. Moron. If it's between two lynch candidates and who I both think are Town and my vote can still influence which one of them gets lynched, yes.
  10. I don't see there being a case against Pandora based on the publicly available information, so to set aside your suspicions of Hinck, you must know something more. As if the scum aren't paying attention. Hinck and I both pointed the inconsistency out earlier. If it's only a temporary indicator, why did you even bring up the point in your suggestion to investigate Scouty? You said conversion should be last on the list, so even if Scouty is investigated and found Town, that doesn't say anything about your affiliation, not even tomorrow. I didn't say I can't decide between them, I said that, because I think they're likely to both be Town, I'm not comfortable voting for either of them at this point. But if it's clear that it's down to either Hinck or Pandora, I feel like I have to make a choice.
  11. I think everyone is coming around to the idea they could both be Town. At the same time, I don't really think there is a case against you. Besides the statement about lynching Scouty if Hinck turns up Town, the "case" against you consists of you being "too Townie". And without even knowing Hinck's role (I assume), you seem adamant you're important to the Town, so I think it's too risky to vote you off today. But I'm not really comfortable with leaving my vote on Hinck either, so I will Unvote: Hinckley Given that I'm not comfortable with voting for Scouty, Hinck, or Pandora, and we have to vote, I will place my vote with someone who I think has been acting suspicious all day (I'm sure he'll say we're supposed to act scummy in reply to this). He's hopped on every bandwagon that was forming and his earlier suspicions of Hinck seem to have vanished. He also seems very concerned with being "verified" through the investigation of Scouty and "forgot" he claimed to be unconvertible in the process. Vote: Shadows I realise that if the votes will be close or tied between Hinck and Pandora, I may be forced to chose sides later on anyway...
  12. I understand how the role works as you explained it, I was simply trying to relate it to your PM with Hinck. I think it was the "anyone" in your PM that threw me off, but I guess that could mean "anyone of your choice". The thing that stood out to me in Hinck's and Scouty's accusations was that she apparently told Hinck that Scouty will be lynched if Hinck shows up Town. Has Hinck claimed to anyone why he's so important to the Town?
  13. Sorry to keep going on about this, but the first thing we've heard of your role claim today came from a PM to Hinck. Here you suggest you can see 'anyone' who's going to die at the hands of the day killer and, if you see 'can' as also applying to 'prevent' (that's an if), have the choice to prevent their death or not. It's why I've been asking if you could indicate more clearly how exactly the 'seeing' aspect comes back in your role. I understand that so far you haven't effectively protected anyone from the day killer, and there's only a slim chance you will, but you seem to suggest now that if you target the victim of the day killer you will 'see' that they were targeted. Given your description, I don't understand what's there to 'see'. Your results so far have just been 'unsuccessful' and 'successful' and have not specified whether Shadows was targeted for a kill or not? I remember you saying you trust him, but you also expressed your doubts about whether he indeed was a watcher. That's what I've asked you to clarify. Furthermore, can the watcher clear you of being the day killer, i.e. did he see anyone else target Shadows on night one?
  14. You can upload pictures of your entry to an imagine hosting service such as flickr. You then start a new thread in the Town forum (Winter Village: <name of your entry>), embedding the images. For more information, please see the tutorials linked in my signature. Good luck!
  15. Poopy doesn't seem to be in the mood to reply. Even without all the poo-talk, he hasn't been much more helpful today than he was yesterday. You seem very keen to stress you're not converted or at least prove you aren't. It makes me wonder how you could be so sure you couldn't be converted earlier. If he's town, I doubt we learn much from his death. If Hinck turns up town, I think we should definitely be looking at the people who have been trying to turn this into a Scouty versus Hinck day, perhaps in an attempt to divert attention away from other suspects. The traditional "seer" is a Cop, not a Doctor role. The first thing you mentioned when asked for clarification on your role was that you could "see" who was going to die in the day. I know you can't quote your Role PM, but could you paraphrase how the "seeing" aspect comes back in your role description? The same goes for the "weak doctor" aspect. Would you also mind sharing your reservations on the watcher? I've asked twice before. The last time right before you posted, so you may have missed it I guess it's good that you call me scummy, as we're all supposed to be a little scummy. If it's because I've been questioning your role all day, then, yes, some of those concerns still stand. But, as I said before, Cecilie's kill wasn't clearly a day kill to someone unaware of the existence of a day killer, so that means you knew there was a day killer (as you claimed to Hinck before Danny's death today). If Shadows wasn't protected, you're basically cleared of being the day killer yourself. In that light, it would be interesting to know if someone else was seen targeting Shadows. Did the watcher see someone else?
  16. I assume we all saw that it happened during the day, but I too disregarded for that moment because it might simply have been a method to show the chandelier killer's night kill. If, however, your role description includes information on a day kill, I assume you interpreted it as such. Scouty explicitly included the day killer aspect in his claim to Hinck. I assume the only people aware of the existence of a day killer are the day killer himself, the (day killer) protector, and maybe the psychiatrist (assuming they exist(ed) and the day killer is the psycho killer). If Scouty indeed targeted Shadows, it's likely we can clear him of being the day killer. So his claim is actually starting to add up. I got a "Don't you see it? I assume you're just holding back to appear scummy." PM too. I thought you suggested Scouty was a recruiter? And wasn't the fact that Scouty mentioned the watcher caught him a reason for you to think he was scummy? You're not making an awful lot of sense anymore. Scouty's role claim is starting to make more and more sense though. And as I said earlier, contacting you like that would be a very bold move, too bold a move if you ask me, for a scum team to make, especially this early in the game. I too am more inclined to believe Scouty at this point. Vote: Hinckley I was a SK in Baritones 3 and poisoned people at night who dropped dead at noon the next day. This was the thing I was hinting at earlier when I said his role may make sense. If he 'sees' who gets killed at night (perhaps if he picks the right target) and then can prevent their death, Cecilie dying immediately on the morning on day one doesn't make much sense, because if his role works like this, he needs time to decide on the faith of the one targeted by (presumably) the psycho killer. I was a resurrector in The Forest and had the second half of the 48 hour night to decide if I wanted the resurrect any of the dead I got to 'see'. But that seems unlikely in this case as we only have 24 hour nights. So, I too am still confused about the 'seeing' part of the role. Some things the watcher said clearly don't make sense and Scouty himself also seems to doubt he is a watcher, which is why I asked him earlier to explain this statement: I think you're suggesting he could be a tracker on the killers' team trying to connect with the recruiters. Reading back, he could have started the PM thinking he caught Scouty trying to convert Shadows.
  17. This seems to be the 'chandelier' MO from yesterday then and in both cases the killer seems to have made their choice at night. On day one because the chandelier dropped first thing in the morning and now the oats that were put into Danny's pockets overnight it seems. So I too am wondering about the different timing of the actual kill and the revelation of the target's affiliation as well. But why contact you? Care to elaborate on that Scouty? I wasn't prepared to read too much into it yet on day one, but def mentioned the psycho killer right after Cecilie got crushed by the chandelier. See? We're all paying attention. Considering there is a reference to a day killer in his role, I still wonder why he didn't seem to notice Cecilie's kill took place during the day on day one and why he didn't ask for clarification of a role he didn't and still doesn't seem to understand.
  18. At what point did he start talking to Shadows? Before or after Hinck outed him? It may be exactly what Scouty wants us to believe. You're leaning towards shit? Again? Yes, Hinck is more careful usually. It seems one of the reasons he outed Scouty is that he added the part about the day killer to his claim, which Hinck thought didn't make sense. His role may make sense, but I hope Scouty is able to explain/understand it better. What's the weak part about it? What do you mean by 'seeing' who's going to die in the day? He may actually be doing what Foog did in IMHOTEP though: trying to sell a scum role as a town role. I find it hard to believe that someone who apparently protects people from day kills would not notice that Cecilie was killed in the morning. Why is the MO important? Do you only protect from one kind of kill? Can you explain do you mean by this? You're no noob. If you didn't understand your role, you should have asked def for clarification right away. How do you even know who to target if you don't understand what you're doing?
  19. So, if you pick the target of the day killer successfully you have the option to save them? That's what it sounds like to me now.
  20. When do you 'see' this? And how can you prevent their death? By targeting them at night?
  21. So, the watcher targeted Shadows and saw Scouty targeting him, but how can you "watch" someone "again" if you don't know who their target is going to be? Do you also have a vest? Investigating "convertibility" first would make sense if the number of conversion attempts is limited. However, from def's description of the game, I don't get the feeling that's the case here. The PMs in which Scouty approaches Hinck (and Shadows) sure seem scummy, but as I said earlier it also seems like a very risky move on Scouty's part and the roleclaim is just... weird. The way I read it, Scouty was contacted by the watcher. Scouty seems to have contacted Shadows too though.
  22. True, he only quoted his own PMs. But still, why come forward if no one had brought up the matter yet? It looks like the chainsaw killer is the psycho killer, but that's mainly based on the chainsaw killer's night zero kill. You stating it as an almost absolute fact is odd though. Makes sense to me too, but I don't know if I'd count on that happening. Moreover, I think the real risk to the scum is that someone would watch or protect (either from a kill or a conversion) the mayor.
  23. You seem to acknowledge there's a risk of him being watched, so I honestly doubt you'd try to convert Corny in you were on the team of recruiters. Others have questioned the value of the mayor role as a tie-breaker so early on in the game and you say you only elected him because changes in behaviour would be more apparent, not because he was 'trustworthy'. So what would be the benefit of converting the mayor at this stage in the game? Why would Hinck come forward with the PMs if he killed her? Or isn't that the 'big coincidence' you're talking about? So, the mayor is the likely target of an investigation (and presumably some other night actions), but you'd still be happy to try to convert the mayor if you were on the recruiting team? That almost implies you think an investigator would get the 'old' affiliation of a player. I wouldn't be willing to take that bet.
  24. I think the worry for the scum killers should be that their target was protected or watched, which seems reasonable for a freshly elected mayor. What does the killer being a 'lynch target' have to do with it? As Hinck already indicated, interesting observation indeed that you seem so sure it was their first kill last night. def mentioned a team of killers. Perhaps the kill can rotate and each player has their own MO. Who knows? Anyway, I think it's too early to draw any conclusions regarding this. "Converted instead"? How can you be sure there was no conversion attempt? But I do hope you're right. I knew Hinck took the risk with you in Ragnarok, but would be willing to take the risk of being watched or having your target protected? The same goes if you're a converter, I guess. Tammo suggested there might be a role that prevents conversion too. I don't see the mayor as a safe scum target at all. Sure, if the crowd votes him for mayor, the likelihood the mayor is town increases, but the risk of the mayor being watched or protected also increases. However, if the scum killed Corny, I doubt they're simply going to repeat their night one gambit. That seems like a rather bold move. So he's a killer... ... or a converter? Did you just find two scum?
  25. It's a very risky move for the scum killer though, given that a freshly elected mayor is likely to attract some more nocturnal action. Or we could simply have seen, in no particular order, the scum killer, psycho killer, and vigilante. But, you may be right, so let's not rule out a change of MO or multiple (scum) killers. The vigilante killing Redblade doesn't really make sense to me. It seems risky to kill anyone on night zero, especially with nothing to go on. I agree. The chainsaw killer's night zero target could be seen as a typical SK target. But after all the attention she managed to attract on day one, Darkdragon doesn't seem like a typical SK target.
