Unfortunately I was unable to participate in the training simulation, so I'm not party to any of the behind the scenes information that may have been available. While it's likely that the overall setup is similar (number of scum, basic roles etc.) I too think it would be unwise to base how we tackle this situation on information from the training sim. We still can't be sure to trust anyone who comes forward with information.

Awesome work, dude! I love this. It's a really difficult shape to render into LEGO but I think you've done a wonderful job. Refit 1701 / 1701-A is my favourite Enterprise. Oh, and I'd love to see a Bird of Prey! Might have a go myself one day. One minor criticism: the patterns on the nacelle pylons are different on inboard and outboard aspects: Ok, it's a really tiny point and I've proved my ST nerdiness by mentioning it! The relevance to LEGO here is tenuous to say the least. I'm going to move it to Culture & Multimedia, just after I add my tuppence. I grew up near where Tolkein lived, just south of Birmingham in the English Midlands. The nearby (and unfortunately-named) Sarehole Mill is thought to have been the inspiration for Sandyman's mill in Hobbiton, and several natural features in the area resemble parts of the Shire. There's even a ford down a little lane which might have inspired the ford at Bruinen just before Rivendell - it's unusual to find a ford in a suburb of a major city, and I remember being amazed by it as a kid. Some say the design of Birmingham University inspired Isengard, and its clock tower represents Orthanc.
