  1. AHahah! Yeah, I've seen this one in my dreams before! Although mine sometimes has an empty stud on the top of his head
  2. I vote for the arch, a very useful and polyvalent piece! Yes, I agree with everybody else that it's not exclusive to the PoP theme, but I would go out on a limb and say it was created for PoP, then recycled in Grand Emporium, not the other way around. It's quite difficult to imagine the Persia theme without this specific piece of architecture. And my second choice would be... the 1x2 brick in medium nougat

Actually they say 39 cm (0.39m) which makes much more sense. Still a huge vehicle, I wonder how it will deal with the tight corners of the City road plates

Very impressive truck! Alas it would seem that the problem with the 1x3x1 doors not sitting flush is not going to be solved anytime soon I don't know if it has been discussed previously, I think this has to do with the windscreen pulling too hard on the door stud. If I remember correctly this wasn't an issue back in the 90s.
  5. Ha this is awesome!
  6. I have Toy Story minifigs available from a set that I purchased for parts. They are still brand new sealed (see picture). All four (Stinky Pete + Jessie + Woody + Bullseye) are for sale for $20, plus $2 shipping (from the UK). I accept payment via PayPal. If you're interested, please PM me or leave a note here. Cheers!
  7. Great stuff! I especially like your small vehicle collection. Lots of interesting techniques all around!
  8. Since I only have a small collection, my MOCs get recycled after a week or so. Only memories remain, and photos of course!
  9. Yay!! I... I wish all of the PoP sets would appear in my mailbox tonight! (hey just trying my luck, it worked once!)
  10. Great new skin, congrats! I wish it would stay on for more than just a month though! Oh and yeah, I don't have any of the PoP sets, but I'm still excited
  11. Very nicely done! Now how about a bigger MOC in the same style/era? Would love to see more!
  12. Done. And thanks for the feedback on the previous survey!
  13. Sorry for the belated comment, but wow, these are awesome Trek minis! This is something I wanted to do for a while but didn't know where to start... Yours are great inspiration! Can't wait to see more of your work
  14. I have my pieces sorted fairly well, but now it's happening with LDD... can't find that stupid car door!
  15. Hmm Quite a pointless exercise if you ask me... What is this supposed to show, besides that if you have lots of money or lots of friends, you can build a uber-uninspiring tower that looks like a dried cactus?
  16. Wow, this is totally awesome! It's full of out of production bricks and neat prints! The possibilities just went through the roof! Thanks for working this out for us, I used to consider LDD a pain because of its limitations, now it just became much more enjoyable!
  17. May?! That's earlier than I thought! It's less than a month from now!
  18. Very impressive! I love the fuel tank and roof details. And the grab rails are definitely worth the trouble IMO! A fully decaled model would be a blast!
  19. Huh? Never seen this before, is this an event-related promo?
  20. Funny that Entertainment Earth would mention: Since every box should have about 3 complete sets, as per ambassador provided information.
  21. As standard printers won't print white, I use both clear and white sticker labels, depending on whether I need a white background or not. Ideally for white use the same quality of labels as your clear ones, which are likely thinner than paper labels and made of polyester. They give good results for me. Color matching is just a lot of guesswork, as even if you use the exact LEGO colour in your paint software, the printer will find a way to get it wrong! So I just try different colour shades on plain paper until it looks good. As for scale, I just measure the brick/tile with a ruler and use the measurements in my software (either Powerpoint or Adobe Photoshop) to set the size of my decal. Minor adjustments are sometimes needed though after a print test.
  22. It's GBP103 but the -20% offer ends tonight (30th March), so unless someone reserves your set before midnight or Argos extend their offer the price will revert to GBP130.
  23. Very nice, definitely an improvement. I might just use this solution in my next vehicle project! Thanks for the idea.
  24. Thanks for the review! If I buy just one set from the Prince of Persia line, this will be the one. It's affordable but still packed with a good array of all the special PoP goodies: dark nougat arches, camel, gold domes, great minifigs including the princess with that lovely hair piece, the list goes on. It's a set that can easily be recycled in MOCs of other themes, and the minifigs are multipurpose too. Don't give me psychos with messed up faces or zombies, I want normal looking minifigs that can fit well in other settings. This set is a winner!
