    "Fabled? I don't know why it would be, but you're right Lycan. It was almost two years ago. We were green and inexperienced, it was our first mission for Heroica. The Dragonlord had gone missing and we were sent out to find him. And we did, though we had to fight our way through the caves of Nathuz and the valley of Waldurk. Good times. Funny thing, now that I think about it we did meet spiders on our way through the mountains back then, though it shouldn't really be surprising. We often think that humans are the most numerous race in Uland, but I promise you that spiders outnumber humans by far. I have met them in every Quest I have been on so far, and in every size you can think of. Mercutio only knows why they haven't yet tried to conquer us like the Proggs are doing."

    Galen paused to reminisce for a moment, leaning on Johon's pickaxe. "You know, the Dragonlord didn't seem to me like someone who would care to start a spider petting zoo. He's an ageing, dignified but fearsome warrior, and he must be quite busy running Heroica and keeping Eubric safe. I can't fathom why he would be chasing spiders in Luosh. Something strange is afoot." Galen blinked. "Oh, did I ever tell you that I have met the Dragonlord once?"

    Morning everyone! Methinks that the rules of this meeting are quite mysterious! No votes, everyone talks whenever and with whomever they want, no clues in the pictures? It's all very troubling. So what now? Has anyone got crosswords?

    Galen looks on the ground for anything suitable for throwing (besides Punii). "I guess there's always our equipment... But I wouldn't want to be caught half-naked in an ambush in the middle of this field." Wait a minute... "Punii, you're a Progg... Surely your shell would protect you from the thorns?"

    Spiders. "Right. What if one falls twice in a pit, can they become KO?" asks Galen to no one in particular. "We could also throw rocks or any heavy object ahead of us and see if the ground yields."

    "Hmm. I think we need to split. We're seven with Punii, nine if we count the spiders. I don't suppose there's any need for all us to fall in a pit together? Actually, what if Morxes and Lyrol went ahead and scouted a save passage for us?" Galen thought back to the faint voices. "It would seem that you were right, Johon. A veteran is raiding this forest for... spiders? What in the name of Zoot would the Dragon Lord need spiders for? It's puzzling. I wonder if we might run into him, while we're here?"

    "Well we will be prepared for the next battle, whenever that may be, so it's not a waste of consumables. But you're right, perhaps the purple eyes are those of some spiders, who in theory shouldn't wish us any harm right now."

    I actually had the opposite experience when I started buying LEGO again after my dark age. When I built the Green Grocer, one of my first purchases, I was blown away by its sheer size! Somehow the catalogue images didn't properly convey to my newbie eyes the scale of the build. And to this day I still find that many sets look bigger in real life than what the catalogues/online images convey.

    Though this topic is somewhat relevant to our Technic/Mindstorms community, the fact that the original poster dropped this as their first post on EB without any other form of introduction makes me construe this as spam. If the original poster would like to introduce themselves and explain how their contribution is relevant, they should do so soon before this topic is locked/deleted.

    Webs. There's the one think I hate just as much as spiders. "Or could it be a warning? Like in, 'Go away, there's a Dragon Lord in the forest?' Well I guess we're not heeding the advice anyway."

    "Oh great, a spider lover. Let's try and find more spiders to bring along because there aren't enough in the cursed forest already. Bats, spiders, what next? You know, perhaps I should just sit this one out, wait for you here and uh... plan our next move. Have a decent meal, drink some ale. And sleep! Oh, sleep would be great right now! I feel totally drained." Galen sighs and picks up his belongings. "You're right Sylph, taking the spiders with us is a wonderful idea. Little wonder that you're our leader. Let's see if we have enough gold for a Plague Venom, then we should be on our way."

    "Oh, that's a shame. Still, let's try not to meet any spiders. Diplomacy sounds like a plan, Alexandre. And what about that Plague Venom, should we take one?"

    "Um... Perhaps we can just visit the smith's shop instead, surely he must have left some gear there."

    Galen turned white. "Spiders?! I hate spiders. Seriously. Are you saying that we won't be able to attack the smith's guardian without attracting the spiders?"

    "Wait, what is the Murkwood? Is that where this blacksmith is detained? What can we expect there?" "That would be great. To be honest after the encounter with Rhodus I'm not so eager to find his brothers."
