Thanks for sharing the official answer, it's an interesting tidbit! Please don't quote images or videos unless it's really necessary!

Yes they are (well £1.99).

Although it's pure conjecture on my part, perhaps August 10 was the day Godtfred Kirk Christiansen, Ole Kirk Kristiansen's 12 year old son, started working in the company? It might have been considered an important symbolic event in both men's lives.

How can I create a thumbnail to my MOC?
Fugazi replied to Bricktooth's topic in Forum Information and Help
I don't know of a specific tutorial, but you can use one of these to resize your image to thumbnail size: How to resize a large pic - Lord of Pies How to crop, sharpen and resize images online - Legostein Then one of these to upload your thumbnail image to an image hosting service: How to upload images to Brickshelf Operating Flickr tutorial And finally this tutorial to create a clickable thumbnail image (note that it's written for Brickshelf users): Creating Clickable Thumbnails - Mister Phes Basically, once you have a thumbnail image of a suitable size ready you need to: - go to My Settings/Profile/Change About Me Page - use the Insert Image button and paste the URL of your image (assuming that you have uploaded it somewhere -- Brickshelf, Flickr, etc) - click on the thumbnail image that should have appeared to select it then use the Insert Link button (next to the Insert Image button) and paste the URL you want to link to (the address of your topic for instance) - save your changes and you're done! If you need more detailed help, just ask! -

I don't have details but the new edition has 56 more pages according to this. So I would expect updates and possibly some new features. -

Are you using Internet Explorer 9? This appears to be the IE compatibility problem that many have been reporting. This member had the very same problem you have.

Can LEGO be damaged by heat/cold extremes?
Fugazi replied to Hyun's topic in General LEGO Discussion
If your MOC has been exposed to extreme heat perhaps the parts might have softened slightly and deformed under the weight of the MOC? Were your loose pieces also damaged? It hasn't happened to me before but perhaps you can have a look at the temperature extremes topic for hints.- 77 replies

The Unofficial LEGO Collectors Guide RAFFLE
Fugazi replied to Fugazi's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Please take note: I have slightly altered the wording of Question 1 to make sure there is no possible confusion. Feel free to submit a new answer if you think you may have misunderstood the question. Thank you! -
Would you like to win one of five copies of member Gary Istok's definitive work 'Unofficial LEGO Sets/Parts Collectors Guide 1949-1990s'? Nothing simpler! Just post once in this thread, and tell us which LEGO set you would choose if you were offered to pick one from the fabled LEGO Vault! For the purposes of this raffle, let's just assume that the LEGO Vault contains every set LEGO ever made, from the dawn of LEGO right to the present day. Would you pick up an old set impossible to find today, a very limited exclusive, or simply the biggest set ever made? Tell us and you will be in for a chance to win Gary Istok's complete e-book, in a convenient download format (no waiting for a DVD to ship!). Read what Gary has to say in praise of the Unofficial Collectors Guide, the most exhaustive historical account of LEGO sets and parts that has ever been written: You can even improve your chances of winning by sending me (Fugazi) a PM with the answer to the following 3 quiz questions! For each correct answer, you will be granted one extra chance in the draw! Please make sure to send in your answers by Personal Messenger and do not post them in this thread, unless you don't mind everyone else copying your answers! Question 1: In what year were the 1300 and 1301 Mosaik sets first produced? Question 2: Which former LEGOLAND park is currently known as Hansa-Park? Question 3: What LEGO-related tragedy happened on February 4, 1960? Hint: The answers can all be found somewhere on Eurobricks, perhaps in one of the topics started by Gary (LEGO Historian)? Do you want your own copy of the Unofficial Collectors Guide, but can't be bothered to take part in this raffle or answer quiz questions? Just head to Gary's online store for details on how to order directly from him. The small print: You have exactly one week from the time this topic was created to post here and to PM your answers should you choose to do so (that is, until 15 August 2012, 0800 GMT/UTC) . This raffle is open to all Eurobricks members registered before this topic was created. Good luck to all!

Excalibur 2.0: Confirmation and Discussion
Fugazi replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Thanks for having me, Bob! -
That's precisely what I'm doing. Do you think I'm poking at you just for kicks? Besides, Lt Wheeler's voting record is dodgy at best. She has managed to avoid voting when it mattered most -- Days 3 and 6, when there wasn't a clear bandwagon and her opinion would have been welcome. I don't know, I don't feel much sympathy for Lt Wheeler. Vote: Lt Wheeler (Inconspicuous)
-
You unvoting him achieves exactly that, not reaching the required majority. One could argue that it could be a form of defence under disguise. Or you could be truly concerned about the risk of taking out another townie. In any case, Lt Wheeler is the one who should defend himself and giving up is no more a townie attitude than a scum one.
-
Very true, but every day is the same length regardless of our voting. I wish Lt Wheeler came back and fought a bit harder for his life.
-
Oh... I have looked it up in the ship's computer and I must admit that I'm none the wiser! Carry on!
-
Have/had? a great birthday Taz!
-
Have a great one, Phred!

The Sun / News of the World Promotion
Fugazi replied to Duke of wellington's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Yes, it is correct. You can only pick up your sets from the listed stores. -
So can you confirm that no one knew you would be targeting Lt Daly? The case against you is that, if Lt Wilder can confirm it, we haven't been able to rule out that scum have had access to insider information after Gordon was lynched. And we can't figure out why scum have chosen to kill Lt McAndrews instead of a more dangerous role such as the investigator or the vigilante. Remember that by then scum apparently knew about those PRs already. So connecting the dots we have that scum killed McAndrews because they somehow suspected that he would block you. Therefore there would have been no scum kill that night, automatically condemning you to be lynched the next day. Huh? Would you rather be accused of being useless?
-
Where's everyone? It's better than nothing. The people you have investigated can't all be Godfathers. I'm waiting to hear from Lt Wilder before I cast a vote... He might have some information to help us reach a decision.
