  1. It's the title of an old (original) Trek episode!
  2. Did we? If I remember correctly the night before this one was quite 'Boring!'. Are you saying that everyone who even mentions your name is scum because... scum have a grudge against you? It's a miracle that you're still alive, then!
  3. Talking about titles, great choice of day title Bob -- I love the classic reference!
  4. Hmpf. It' s good to see that McAndrews has hit the target with Rockford, but it would seem that he has paid dearly for his success. I'm puzzled though as lately it was our vig who wielded the ray gun, and I can't believe that he would have targeted McAndrews himself. But I'm sure that Lieutenant Commander Wilder will chime in shortly and set the record straight. Looking at Rockford's voting pattern, nothing jumps at me as particularly informative. He avoided voting for his scummy pal Gordon on Day 1, then jumped on the various bandwagons. Yesterday he voted for Hornby, which is difficult to interpret -- I'd rather not waste too much time trying to figure out if he wanted to cast suspicion on a townie or to draw suspicion away from a Purist.
  5. "Right, I'm bleeding way more than I thought." OOC: I didn't notice that with the new battle order, I received two free hits instead of one.
  6. "True, I was thinking that someone could pick Flavius up and bring him back to be healed. But I guess it makes more sense for Nyx to revive him on the spot." Galen throws a Smoke Bomb and retreats to the south as smoke fills the room.
  7. OOC: Thank you JimB! "What do you reckon, Alexandre? Can we hold the ground for another round? Atramor's plan is sound -- I can throw a Smoke Bomb and we move south to help the party in the throne room. Together we will stand a better chance of stopping them once they return with Alandri. Although I suggest someone other than Nyx to pick up Flavius, she's much too strong to waste time running errands. Luke or myself could go instead."
  8. Galen falls down, poisoned by the one he was trying to poison. OOC: Does Lord Lucan's special damage disregard rows? I think you forgot about my attacking from the back row, as the free hit on me also dealt full damage.
  9. This is true, but even if Rockford is scum it is still worrying. The scum protected the very target who was supposed to die last night? The odds are probably better (1 in 4 or so) but I'm still surprised that they would guess correctly.
  10. Moving to the appropriate forum.
  11. Galen was starting to think about simply running away, from the palace and from Dastan. But he managed a few encouraging words before turning to his next target. "Keep at it, friends! Even if we fall in this room, we will have bought precious time for our allies!" Galen attacks Lord Lucan with the Sword of Bashing from the back row. OOC: Shouldn't Sir Lamorak have the Poisoned effect now?
  12. "Oh dear. Well we do need to limit the number of free hits until reinforcements join us, so I would have him attack one of the anonymous pikemen."
  13. "What's a Pacifist? Is he going to help or just sing heartening songs?" Galen attacks Sir Lamorak with the Sword of Bashing from the back row.
  14. Sounds like a solid lead. Much better that the previous anyway. Vote: Ensign Toby Rockford (darkdragon)
  15. From where I sit there are separate elements in the case against Holloway. I think that his methodology and efforts to find scum are extremely townie, in that scum wouldn't in my opinion spend so much energy to fabricate a fake analysis. His method is not foolproof, as it's a known fact that scum will sometimes take a shot at each other just to confuse townies -- as long as it doesn't endanger their teammates. However, it's very possible that useful results can be derived from this. On the other hand, fishing for roles (why?) and trying to move a protector from the crew member who was very likely targeted for a kill last night is extremely unsettling. It doesn't matter if the advice was sound -- the fact is that if Holloway had been successful, it would have probably cost the life of our vigilante. It's a shame though that we're still trying to figure out patterns and analyse behaviour when I was hoping for some good old-fashioned night results to make things easier. I guess I was spoiled by the tree stump yesterday!
  16. Galen waits for the enemy to move, while applying venom to the blade of his throwing dagger. OOC: Would it be possible for a party to use a smoke bomb to withdraw from a fight to a different room while avoiding free hits? Or would the use of a smoke bomb definitively remove those players from combat like in normal fights?
  17. This is quite encouraging news! We nailed our first Purist -- there was little doubt about it of course -- and the absence of a scum kill is a sign that someone has done something right. If there were conversions, I suppose that we would have heard something about it from the simulation scum crew? Anyway, I look forward to hearing from those who understand what happened last night.
  18. Here's the relevant topic.

  20. Welcome to EB John! I will shortly move your topic to the dedicated Brickworld forum!
  21. Galen follows Alexandre into the next room to the North.
  22. Not at all, but your mistake is to join Eurobricks in order to promote your CUUSOO projects, which is the feeling I get from reading your introductory post. Eurobricks is not an advertisement billboard. Please read the member guidelines and in particular the CUUSOO section.
  23. Please avoid bumping your thread unnecessarily. The promotion of CUUSOO projects is tolerated on EB when it is done subtly and tastefully. Make sure you also update your first post with some drawings. We would like you to present your project to EB members, not only your links.
  24. Hey that's a great prize! Malaysia, here I come! Runner up prizes aren't shabby either. Oh and bloody Quebec lottery laws.
