  1. One more than what? Agreed.
  2. There's not much to tell, we had an affair but I knew he would never leave his wife. I never would have killed him, I loved him both as a man and as a superior. Working together made this affair all the more awkward, therefore I didn't want it to become public. But I repeat, I would never have hurt him, I only had respect and admiration for him. And may I remind you that I never knew there had been a lawsuit, and I never knew I risked being demoted. The Chief never betrayed me, he protected me from my own mistakes.
  3. I would like to set the trashcan on fire!! Nah, just joking. Go ahead, I'm not tampering with the 'evidence'.
  4. What makes you think that the killer would be running around town last night? I think this qualifies as trying to catch the killer: We did flirt at one time, but I don't know of one woman in town he didn't hit on.
  5. Of course. I worked late in my office and took out the trash when I was finished. Someone called me out in the night, I couldn't see who it was but with the recent homicide I didn't want to stick around and I fled to the security of my home. That's the spirit! There's no way anyone can flee this place until we sort out our problems. Plus, I'm as curious as you are about the contents of the trash can. Well, let's try the trash can outside the police station?
  6. Caught in the act! Well, I won't spoil anyone's fun, so we'll go investigate the trash bin before anything else today. What's quite annoying with all of us being prodded into sneaking out during the night is that we can't tell if the actions we witnessed are important or just random acts of violence/vandalism. Ah, life was simpler in Alabatha!
  7. Sorry to have missed that, I thought the room we first came in was the squad room. Then I agree we should visit this first thing tomorrow.
  8. Of course Mrs. Jordan! But I think it's better for all of us that the weapons are stowed in safety until whoever is responsible for the Chief's murder is found. We don't want anyone to be shot by accident because we're a bit stressed out. Perhaps we could visit the Town Hall, maybe something there could shed some light on the past of the Chief.
  9. Quite a womanizer, the Chief! I don't know if this helps, perhaps one of the women he cheated with became jealous... Remeber we're looking for a motive for REVENGE. But without names, where to start? For our safety, the pistol should be left in the custody of a police officer -- I suggest officer Patterson here.
  10. Um... I would like to have a look inside the box. So it would seem this is all there is to see in the police station. Where should we go next? Back to the Chief's house, assuming that the forensic investigation is complete? We don't have serious leads to follow at the moment, unless I forgot something?
  11. All right, let's finish our investigation of the police station before we move on. I would like a description of the interrogation room.
  12. Have a great birthday Stash!
  13. I'd rather not attempt to force it open right away. We may end up destroying whatever's inside. We haven't finished looking over the police station, and there's still a chance the key is at the Chief's house. Unless he swallowed it? Well as far as I'm concerned, I think he was a good and dedicated man, despite whatever shortcomings he had in his personal life. I don't see why anyone in this police station would have wanted him dead, it's not like we're a bunch of power hungry freaks.
  14. I would like to jog my memory of those events. I don't think we visited the interrogation room. If there's nothing else to be found on the Chief's computer, perhaps we can move on. I would like to bring the Chief's briefcase along, in case we end up finding the key. It's strange that the key wasn't with the Chief nor in his office. Or did we overlook something? Could he have dropped the key on his way to the fountain the night he died? Could it have been stolen from him?
  15. Oops, a bit of hasty reading on my part! That could be me. As Deputy Chief, I was the second in command and he needed to reach me if anything major happened. Does the telephone number match my own?
  16. It's true that my father Leonard died not long ago, and that it must have affected my professional judgment despite my best efforts. I wasn't aware of any of this... The Chief was trying to protect me from my mistakes, and now he's dead and I will never be able to thank him. This shows that not all cases are closed in this town though. I wouldn't seem like the killer of this tourist was ever found.
  17. Since there are reasons to believe the police officers could be involved, I'd like to read the documents labeled with their (our) names.
  18. Beautiful build Legostein! Instantly recognisable, especially for someone who loves B5 like me. I considered building one myself in a bigger scale but never got around to it. I look forward to any other B5 universe creations you may have in the works! And sorry for the OT, but there are (again) rumours of a B5 motion picture in the talks, perhaps this time it will happen?
  19. I'd like to have a look at his calendar for the last days. Maybe he was planning on meeting someone the night he was killed?
  20. It's a valid theory although I don't like the sound of it. Of course as I just mentioned I don't think that the murderer had planned to kill the Chief. On the other hand, he might have had a gun or a knife as well and didn't need to use it. Oh well, let's go back to the police station and continue our investigation there.
  21. So I gather the Chief was drunk, someone followed him at night, punched him on the jaw and he fell striking his head. Which means that the person who hit him didn't necessarily want to kill him, or they would have used other means. Doctor Marcus, could the other bruises be bullet wounds from the Chief's life in the police force? Or more like bruises from fighting someone?
  22. I believe it was a simple mistake, the other record was actually your son's. By curiosity, how did you ever end up punching the Chief? Were you both drunk or what?
  23. Indeed, you were charged with assault on a Police Officer, but the charges were eventually dropped. As for you, you were found in possession of illegal narcotics. No wonder your dad wasn't proud of you! Jeremy was charged with disturbing the peace with loud music past bedtime, nothing very worrying. Candy? I would like to empty the bowl and make sure nothing else is found in it. Definitely the match. Disregard the choices.
  24. I wonder what kind of offences Jeremy, James and that Seth Barron were found guilty of. I'm not sure it has any bearing on the crime we're investigating, but it doesn't hurt to be thorough. I would like to ask Officer Hutch if the files include details about the nature of the offences committed by the three named above. If this information can't be revealed to people outside the police forces, can I have a look at the files myself?
  25. I could imagine that the people who were caught in that bank robbery had accomplices who took their revenge on the Chief. But we have little information to support any theory right now. Perhaps we should move on the the Chief's office?
