Thanks for the beautiful review Pandora! Ah, opening a mint Paradisa set must certainly be quite a treat! This is perhaps not one of the most impressive Paradisa sets, but it packs nostalgia, colorful cuteness, and quite a few interesting parts. Though I'm not a big fan of the pastel green baseplates myself! It's quite an odd colour for grass, or anything else for that matter -- but regular green would have clashed with the 80's bathroom pastel palette, I guess!

I'm going to take a nap, this has been a long day. I see no choice but to vote now and hope that my choice is the right one. Vote: Amy Spalkowa (iamded) Somehow I have the feeling that if Amy is truly scum I may not survive the night. I'll leave you loyals with the only piece of information I can offer, for whatever it's worth -- I have no night action.
-
It's still an odd decision to go for Dragana and split the vote once more when there were already 3 votes against Irena. I might have understood if you told us that since Irena hadn't voted yet you didn't want to provoke her into voting for you, but it's not the explanation you're giving. Maybe you knew you didn't need to concern yourself with Irena's vote. I want to give you a chance to prove that you're loyal, but you're not giving me the right answers.

This is a beautiful MOC Skrytsson! I really like the colour palette used for the planet surface, and the landscaping. Your sky is very nicely built too! I'm not so sure about the crashed capsule as it's more cartoony than the detailed planet surface, but on the whole it's a very inspiring scene!
-
When you come back, what I would like you to explain is why you were so reluctant to vote for Irena back on day 2, and all the while trying to shift the focus on Richelle and Dragana. I don't understand, in your position it would have been easier for you to simply vote Irena -- it's not as if you had very solid arguments to support Irena's loyalty anyway.

Very nice work Hypersonic, both on the models and the photography! Is there a specific real life train you used as inspiration or is it just your own design? You certainly made use of some fine techniques to achieve a very smooth look on both models. A couple of minor things you may want to work on: I'm not sure about the lights on the freight car, unless they're meant as some sort of reflectors. And a locomotive with a full width engine hood wouldn't need handrails -- except perhaps a couple of vertical ones to reach a door. Welcome to EB and I look forward to more or your MOCs!

From Quentin's alarmed tone this morning, I get the feeling that there are at least two Not Loyals alive. But I can't tell who the other(s) might be. One more thing... Amy has the dubious distinction of a 'perfect' voting record. She didn't vote for any Loyal who was lynched, but voted for the Not Loyal. I know it can be the result of sheer luck, but still. And yeah, Petra also has a perfect record, for whatever it's worth.
-
So you're saying that instead of lynching a Loyal and dealing with the consequences (if any) later, I would prefer to organise the lynching of one of my own? Please don't get too excited, it's your accusations that don't stand up to scrutiny. To me, it seems more like Irena didn't vote because she accepted the sacrifice. Read on. You're giving me too much credit. Do you think Irena would have accepted to be lynched by her own when it was so easy to kill off Amy instead? Which brings me to my next observation. I mentioned before that it was curious that given the choice, Irena didn't vote for Amy in order to perhaps save herself. Going back to day 2, what I just noticed is that when Amy voted, the tally was Irena-3 Amy-3. What did Amy vote? Dragana! Is it just me or do both Amy and Irena look like they didn't want to vote for one another? Only when it was clear that one of them would be lynched that day (voting for Dragana never took off) Amy switched her vote -- perhaps enjoined by Irena. Does this make more sense than Tammo's theory?
-
A loyal investigator would at least have tried to reveal his role and give away some information before being lynched, I think. Just before I voted, I believe the tally was Amy-4, Irena-3. Had I been scum, it would have been easier to try to finish off Amy instead of going for Irena. See, 4 votes, plus me and Irena makes 6. Lynch, bag Amy, who's next. Since Irena is confirmed scum, then Petra and me can't both be scum. Perhaps neither of us are, but as mentioned above I'm somewhat suspicious of Petra. On the other hand, it's interesting that Irena didn't vote for Amy when it could have saved her. Could it be that Amy is also scum, and that there was no point for Irena to vote for her? I'll be back, I must give this some more thought.
-
Um, I guess we're in trouble if the only motive we have to lynch someone is that he's suspicious for NOT being suspicious enough. I guess now is as good a time as any to mention this... On day 2, the reason I started trusting Amy was that she clearly told that she trusted me. I thought it was a more or less subtle way of letting me know that she's an investigator, and that she had investigated me on the first night. Why else would she trust me more than anyone else? Well now obviously it would appear that it was not the case. Was it some sort of strategy? I don't know. I am also quite disappointed at the lack of night results. I would have expected that by now we would have some clue based on the night actions, but it seems that after 3 nights we're still clutching at straws for evidence. Either someone is holding out on useful information, or we all have been very unlucky so far in this ordeal. Reviewing Dragana's last words I must wonder if there is something to read into Amy and/or Petra's last minute change of mind when we lynched Irena. I used to think that scum voting for scum was suicidal, but perhaps what they are trying to achieve is a team victory, which would make the sacrifice of Irena more likely if it helps clearing one or two of them for good. I'm still suspicious of those who didn't vote for Irena, but after the wrongful lynch of the most suspicious of them I am reconsidering some of my assumptions.

I suggest writing to customer service quickly, they will sort this out for you.

Daniel my darling, why you? I will follow Quentin's advice and go back through the memories of yesterday. Now that we know Dragana was Loyal perhaps we should pay more attention to what she was trying to say...

Happy Birthday ADHO15, Admiral Croissant, and badboytje88!
Fugazi replied to Professor Flitwick's topic in Community
Happy birthday to the three of you. -
Just a quick note... There are many rear-engined low floor bus models (including North American models) that manage to include a rear window, so the Lego bus is not necessarily inaccurate on that account.
-
Ah Dragana! Long time no see! It's true that you know Irena better than I do. But I doubt that Irena was around to tell her pals anything about strategy before the vote was complete -- she never tried try to defend herself, I wonder if she even realised what was happening before it was too late. I know Irena too, and she's not the kind to go down in silence. So I don't believe that she was listening and plotting when she became threatened. As others have mentioned before, it only became obvious that Irena would be convicted very late in the day, and there was very little opportunity for scum to pile on their votes without looking suspicious. Ridiculous is a strong word. I am keeping the possibility of conversion in the back of my mind. Me thinks that you seem to have changed your mind quite a lot since yesterday when you were ready to lynch Amy. And then you have Amy who forgot that she voted for you yesterday, and would have wanted to focus on Irena voters instead. But of course the possibility of conversion is ridiculous. What is happening here then?
-
On second thought, the main reason why we shouldn't completely rule out those who voted for Irena is the possibility of a conversion last night. We don't know if the Not Loyal can coerce the Loyal to their side, but if they can converting one of those who voted for scum seems like a good plan from their point of view.
-
What? Would the scum convict one of their own to clear another?? Not sure it makes any sense to me, especially since Irena's conviction yesterday was in no way a sure thing. It's not like there was a bandwagon on her or anything. I agree that it's not impossible that a Not Loyal attempted to fool us by voting for one of his own, but reason tells me that the suspicion rests much more heavily on those who did not vote. Besides Amy, I thought you were quite wary of Dragana yesterday, doesn't this tend to confirm your previous suspicions?
-
I'm really sorry for Jacob, especially since it's painfully obvious why he was killed. I'm glad you changed your mind. I doubt that any of the six who have voted for Irena could be Not Loyal. It was a close call, and every one of those six votes were essential to bring Irena down. Which leaves us with four candidates to investigate. Dragana, Richelle, Rupert and Tammo.

Fugazi replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
I'd like to claim the bonus points for: Mailing List VERIFIED Facebook Page VERIFIED Picture Challenge Vote VERIFIED Total: 8 Points Thanks! -
Before I forget and in case I need to go away for a nap: Proxy: Camanakin Skywalker (Big Cam).
-
And even then, it's assuming that the wedding ring clue has been truthfully reported by Scotty. Otherwise, neither of Mugg or Ram Strut could be involved.
-
One thing we should consider is that perhaps a Dark One has won the challenge and won't be using the investigation card. In which case, we're on our own to figure out who to vote for. Actually, this should probably be decided right now, before it's too late to make up our mind. Plus I've confirmed the clue myself.
-
Frankly I would have liked for Irena to show up and explain her nonchalance. But then the hour is growing late, and without a conviction she would have been the one to be killed anyway as she still hasn't voted. Talk about helping the Loyals...
